It had been a years since I had my nails done. I used to be a regular client for a number of years and always received great service with outstanding results. A couple of weeks ago, I had a special occasion to attend and decided to go back to what I thought would be a relaxing and positive experience. First of all, the nail technicians remembered me. I was impressed by that. I told them I wanted a mani/pedi, a full set of solar nails and matching gel nail polish for my toes and I was told they wouldn't do the neutral color I requested. They said I was too pale and the color wouldn't stand out. I insisted that was what I wanted and they flat refused. I selected another shade at the impatience of my nail tech. She was rude and continually and audibly snorted her derision at my every request throughout the service. The pedicure was poorly executed. She didn't even clip my cuticles or massage my feet and legs. She used regular polish and told me it was gel. It was sloppy and looked like a 5 year old did it. My manicure was much the same... no soaking, no cuticle clipping. The solar nails were a disaster. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Then she had the nerve to charge me for that piss poor job. I'm extremely disappointed. My first clue should have been that the place was empty on a Friday afternoon. It was never empty in the past. Now I see why. It is such a shame. This used to be a quality establishment. I definitely would not recommend going there. Ever. read more

Everything was great until she realized she had 15 minutes left. She started rushing on my nails. My French tips barely look like French tips. She didn't color in everything. She didn't put enough coat on it. Looks bad and the texture is all bumpy. I won't be going back. read more

So after finding a great nail salon a month earlier that salon went downhill quickly and I had to find a new place. I had to go to the Fedex down the road so I stopped at Fancy NailsPlus because it looked clean and wasn't too busy. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and given the choices for dip nails. They had more options than I had ever seen before and I picked a natural color as I had a couple of job interviews coming up. I got a tip put on my nails because they had broken off after the last salon had destroyed them. The lady who did my nails was quick and great about my request for short almond shaped nails. It took about 45 minutes but it was necessary with how bad my nails were before. It cost $40 which is standard for the nail tip and dip. I will have to go back and see if they keep up the quality. read more

I came here yesterday for a fill and wow! I've been to three different shops in the last month and they've all been SHIT. But my nails turned out so great thanks to Flower! Fancy nails will be my forever nail shop & Flower will be my nail technician. Not to mention, it was only $15 for a fill when the other salons charged me $20+! My fill was perfect. My nails are not uneven. She 'sanded' them down so they're not all lumpy and bumpy. The square was exactly what I wanted because I have a baby and can't have them razor sharp on the side. Eh. I had my mani and pedi here a few weeks ago and was not pleased. The lady who painted my nails did a shoddy job. I asked for French tips to be painted on and the edges were raggedy and just plain unprofessional. She also filed my nails crooked. I honestly believe she was in a hurry. I was told from another technician that she was new so I'll cut her some slack. Stop them if they try to give you a mani at the pedicure station. the lighting is terrible and you won't know how bad your nails look until you go and cure it. If you do go here, ask for Amy- she helped fix the hot mess the other technician did gratis. I've gotten solar nails done here in the past and it looked really good. When I arrived, they were pretty busy but got to me fairly quick. I ordered a manicure and pedicure. Fancy Nails performs these two services at the same time (unless you pay extra and get a spa pedicure). I believe the women's name who did my manicure was Linda. She was friendly. She took time to fix my cracked nail twice. The paint was a little streaky but to her defensive, I picked out a very opaque pale pink. I've never had a pedicure done from a basin rolled over to the manicure chair. I was a bit skeptical but I will admit, my toes are really pretty. She did a wonderful job. After Linda staring at me for a couple minutes, she suggested an eyebrow wax. They are a bit thinner than i normally like. She performed a really nice facial massage after my eyebrow wax. I look for cleanliness, the odor of the salon- if the salon uses high grade products then it doesn't have that horrid acrylic smell, good customer service, and a pleasant environment. Fancy Nails has it all! My first time was today- I had about an hour before I had to be back at work! Mindy got me in and out with great customer service. She talked to me, asked me if I have sensitive skin (which I do) and asked me about my life. She was extremely sweet. The owner is so nice, she walks around and asks if you are enjoying your experience- which is always a nice touch. I got a full solar powder set for only $42 which is a steal! Honestly, if you are only paying $20 for a set- your nails will probably fall off! The salon has been around for 20+ years but has been recently remodeled- it is gorgeous! If you are trying to find a new home to get a mani/pedi/wax this place is the one to go to! Oh and they have a punch card also! The more you go, the better deals you get! It's been over a year and my foot is still not healed. I went in for a pedicure, they used some type of scraper that shaved the skin off the outside of my left foot, it bled for several days. I still feel pain when anything touches that part of my foot. read more

I simply love Fancy Nails. I've been going there for over 20 years. In that time it changed owners and the new owner had the shop completely renovated. I've used several manicurists and they are all pretty good. I love Leigh, but right now I'm using Amy. She's super and takes her time with you. I was disappointed to see some people weren't happy. My suggestion would be to make a reservation so your manicurist isn't rushed and has time to do her best. read more

I have been a faithful loyal over tipping customer to the same technician for years! I always make appointments so that I don't have to spend time waiting. However every time I make an appointment I am never seen at that time. I physically went to the salon yesterday to make an appointment due to the language barrier. I had an appointment set for today at 5:30 but knowing she runs behind I called before I left! The manager who answered asked I come 15 minutes later no biggie cause I hadn't left yet. However before she was done speaking she hung up on me! I get there at 5:45 and my technician ask me to wait another 15 minutes! I said No! I am done!
