Talk about great! I ordered the Korean cheese balls, which were great! And not forget to mention, the service was great because we got our food within 10 minutes. there were not that many people there, so it was chill. Would definitely come here again!!! Also, my favorite dish is the buldak. It's just so great.

I want to start off by saying the staff is extremely kind and accommodating! For the food, I got the bulgogi fries, chicken slider, and pork buns. Overall food was very yummy! The bulgogi meat in the fries was so flavorful and juicy. I have small critiques for fries for example, cheese wasn't melted and it was cold (only cheese to be clear). For the pork buns I'm used to the pork belly having more of a char and it was also not as warm as I would have liked. So mainly the food temperature was the issue but again flavor was great. Either way I will be coming back as it is a unique new addition to the Muskegon area :)

I was so excited to try Dak Good. There is nothing like it in Muskegon. It met my expectations and beyond. You can dine in or carry out. We arrived around 5pm and were seated right away. Everything is clean, modern, and beautiful inside. The decor (neon lights) is so good and gives great vibes. We had diet cokes and my son had a Japanese soda. We ordered quite a bit of food to try. Pork potstickers, soy garlic chicken bao buns, cheese balls, spicy chicken fried rice, buldak, and boneless Korean fried chicken (boneless and drumsticks). Everything had so much flavor and cooked perfectly. If we had to critique something, it would probably be the cheese balls. Compared to everything else, they just had little flavor. They were okay. The Korean fried chicken is phenomenal. We did half spicy and half garlic soy. That chicken is so crispy and so juicy and so flavorful. I don't know how they do it. The Buldak was also insanely good. It is very spicy, but man those rice cakes are perfection. One dish came with coleslaw and one with pickled radish. Both were wonderful and great palette cleansers. I can't wait to try even more food. Our service was great. Smiling faces, lots of drink refills, etc. Dak Good will be a new go-to restaurant for our family.

I've been waiting for a spot like this to open up around here. Highly recommend the fried rice!

I hope they around for a long, long time. The spicy chicken is extremely good! And the fries are perfect. If it's fried, they know what to do.

    Kimchi

10 out of 10! Veggie potstickers are so crispy and delicious. Spicy sauce is VERY spicy but good. And the miso ramen and kimchi were fire! New favorite spot for sure! Service was friendly and the place was clean!

*updated review from 5 to 3 stars* :'(…read more We used to LOVE coming here for birthdays and all special occasions. It had been a bit (a few months) since we last came. Today, it was just the service was not good at all. We did hot pot and bbq. They switched to tablets to order more items but the number of times we didn't get what we ordered and had to get someone was more than once. Also--mid bbq with it full of food, would ask to change the grill, we would say "can you come in like 1 min when we finish what we are cooking?" And they just handed us plates and had us put the partially cooked food on it while they changed the plate. This happened more than once (never happened so abruptly the many many times we have gone before). They also had the bbq way too low so we had to turn it up to cook the food (again, has never been an issue, they always adjust it well every other time). My husband asked for a water refill and got basically pure lemon juice vs water (maybe it had to do with their machine but again, has never happened before). The service was just objectively not good at all. The food was delicious per usual. I hope the service changes. We definitely will give it another chance but for our favorite place to go, it was disappointing. :(

Nate and I met up with a group of Korean adoptees recently and had a nice time. The space was great for a larger group and we all had plenty of room to share since it wasn't busy. The menu includes several Korean dishes that you can't really find anywhere else in the area, like buldak, pan fried mackerel, pork belly stir fry, etc. It was tough to decide what to order because I LOVE Korean food! I went with the buldak (spicy chicken stir fry with cheese) and Nate got the dolsot bibimbap with spicy pork. We also had some appetizers to share - the fried dumplings and shumai. I loved the dumplings. They were super crispy and the filling was savory and tasty. The shumai were okay and cooked nicely, just not a ton of flavor for me. I was really happy with the buldak. The chicken was tender, it had plenty of melty cheese, and it wasn't super spicy. I've made this dish at home and you can definitely make it super hot! Nate and I both agreed that we liked the buldak better than the bibimbap. There is plenty of parking as Emonae is in a strip mall with some other restaurants.
