Chicken Hibachi Chicken California Roll

Picking up food!! Very fast, good portions! Taste is fresh and still hot as a Togo order.

Shrimp hibachi
Madalyn V.

I visited Kazumi's for the first time and enjoyed my experience. When you walk in you will notice there are two sides to the restaurant. One side is for regular dining and the other side is for hibachi dining. We sat on the hibachi side and it was such a unique way to dine. I have never had hibachi before so this was super cool to me. Our waitress came to our table right away to take our drink and food order. She was very kind. Once we put in our order, we had to wait for a chef to be available. We waited about 15 minutes I would say which wasn't terrible. But while you wait you are served soup and salad, if you order it with your meal. (It came with each meal we ordered). It was nice to munch on something while we waited. Once the chef got to our grill, he was on a roll. He threw the tongs around with such great talent keeping us entertained while he cooked our meal right in front of us. He made sure that our meat was cooked to our liking. He was talkative and seemed to really enjoy his job. The food was excellent and you get so much food for less than $30 an entree. We had shrimp hibachi and salmon hibachi. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had a lot of food to take home there was much food! They do have a bar area too if you wanted to have a drink before dinner or at your table. Note that it does get very busy during peak dinner hours and there will be longer wait times due to the nature of hibachi style dining. Everything is made to it's that way which makes your food taste fresh. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will be back!

Decent hibachi... we love the fried rice and the pink colored sauce on it! Basic sushi... the rice doesn't taste as seasoned as it should. This last time I went, on Sunday, the online Sunday menu says any 3 rolls for $15.95 and then has a list of rolls under it. We went for this because it was my daughter's birthday, she wanted sushi, and that seemed like a great deal. We got there and they said those rolls are not included in the pick any three. Just the basic rolls are for the pick three. The Sunday menu doesn't show those rolls. The management would not honor the prices for the pick three with the rolls on the Sunday menu. We spend $250 when we go there and we will not be back for some time. They would have given us around a $40 discount because of their mistake but ended up losing probably $1,000 in revenue from the time we will not be going because of this. I will include a picture below. All in all basic sushi, decent hibachi, good servers, terrible management.

Fried pork dumplings

Went here with my sister + son who is allergic to fish and egg. The waiter double checked ingredients and talked to chefs about which options he could have being fish sauce is still a primary ingredient in their main courses. I appreciated the time and seriousness he took. Our food was great. We had edamame, dumplings, sushi, veggie roll sushi, crab ragoons, miso soup + house salad and chicken teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki would probably be the only thing we wouldn't re-order. The sauce had a very mild, and only 2 pieces of broccoli for the veggie. We had boba tea for our desert, it was very large (worth the money) and very good. The house salad is more creamy based than ginger based too, which is different than most other sushi restaurants I've attended, but it was still great.

My extra noodles!

Another great meal at Kazumi! We had our usual - crab rangoons for an appetizer and filet and chicken for our entrees - oh, and I ordered extra noodles because that's the highlight of the meal for me. To drink I had the pear saketini (or two) and Jeff had a glass of Bell's Two Hearted. The filet was delicious! I don't know how they make it so good! Chicken, veggies and rice were REAL good, but those noodles! I could have just those for a meal! (Wait, can I actually just have those for a meal?) The little cup of salad with the creamy ginger dressing, is so good we joke about asking for a straw to get the last little bits sucked up. And the miso soup is so tasty! Our service was great as always! Our chef did a stellar job. Of course we will be back!

Shrimp tempura and Pad Thai
Jeannie P.

We were traveling and arrived about 30 minutes before closing. They were very gracious about seating us so close to closing. The shrimp tempura entree was very good. And the Pad Thai had the perfect heat.

Raspberry Mojito & Asian Pear Saketini... yummm!

The menus are QR codes on the tables, which is pretty standard. I didn't love that food and drinks are on separate tabs. So with 2 of us there, we had 4 tabs by the end. 1 each for food, and 1 each for drinks. It felt a little disjointed. It was also a little hard to get a server's attention when needed. You order on your phone, but just to get a couple glasses of water it took some time to flag down our server. And really, it's more of a host/food-runner situation since all the order processing is done online. I'm not super into cocktails, but their drinks really sounded amazing. They have some very fun, and inventive cocktails. If we hadn't already been to 2 breweries I probably would've ordered one. Instead I had a beer, which I believe was a house made IPA, and was fine. We weren't super hungry so we each ordered some egg rolls and shared them. Not necessarily the best I've ever had, but they were definitely good enough. I appreciate that they had some fun, not typical types of egg rolls on the menu. The space was cool, and I liked the food well enough that I'd go back. Hopefully it will feel a little more like a dining experience next time. That, or they could just have people order at a counter and it would make more sense. The Sunday brunch menu is small, but sounds amazing. I'm more likely to return for that rather than for a dinner.

HURL and SPEW more like it…read more A round of applause to the menu writer for creating intrigue. And also props to the waiters for having a positive attitude about deplorable food. I DO NOT recommend eating the food here. Laughably bad. The heirloom tomato was described as marinated, pickled, smoked, candied, and blistered with micro cilantro and finishing salt. Okay, already trying too hard with the descriptors. And no effort whatsoever with the actual execution of the dish. It was truly cold cherry tomatoes with olive oil and salt. Sad. A little funny. And ultimately puzzling. The shrimp was $15 for 3 shrimp plated on shredded iceberg and pickled jalapeño. The wontons might have been purchased at Trader Joe's and thrown in the deep frier. Lastly, the burrata. I should have known better than to order burrata "fried," that's a tragic oxymoron. Rubbery on the inside, crusty on the outside, and seeping with milky juices, tenderly plated with thin slices of hamburger bun cutely called a crostini. Stick to the cocktails-- had we only stopped for drinks, our review would have been glistening with stars.

Located in a strip mallI, walked into the establishment and at a small table two patrons sit eating. The ambiance was similar to most small Asian restaurants we've purchased food from. Male standing at sushi bar told him I was there to pick up my order. He stated the hostess would be with me in a minute. Hostess arrived took payment for order and a few minutes later our food came out. The food is pricey and portions are on the small side compared to other Asian cuisine in the area. We paid 60+ dollars for 3 wok dinners and a salad. Yellow Curry Wok Tossed $15.00 Potatoes, onions, carrots and peas wok fried in a sweet yellow Thai curry sauce with your choice of protein (Didn't like that the potatoes in the dish were potato logs like the ones you get from the deli.) 2 Dinner Broccoli Wok Tossed $1 Sauteed broccoli in a flavorful brown sauce with your choice of protein Thai Salad Lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro, pineapple, chicken satay with peanut vinaigrette dressing (My salad did not have pineapple!!) and we didn't care for the peanut vinaigrette dressing that comes with the salad. A Plus: The 2 Dinner Broccoli Wok Tossed were not greasy and the beef was a better quality and cut a bit thicker. We can check off this local Asian Cuisine establishment and continue our tasting journey. I hope they maybe a diamond in the rough.

Although parking can be confusing for your first time going. I love their Bao appetizer. The Bento box is worth getting for the money, I think it gives the best variety of options, it's great! The spicy yaki udon is good too, but definitely spicy and better with soy sauce. Give this place a try!

We stopped for lunch slightly after the lunch rush and still found a crowded restaurant. We were seated quickly and despite being pretty busy, our server was great and the kitchen was as well because our wait for food once ordered was minimal. We ordered Gyoza, Bao, Spicy tuna rolls and Big Shrimp Tempura rolls. 1. Gyoza-fantastic. Pan fried just enough to bring out the flavor of the ingredients and wrapper. Most places overcook gyoza and while still decent, are not nearly as good as these were. 2. Bao. Once I tried these out of town I was hooked. Have-not seen them one any menu until I came here. We ordered pork and it was perfect. 3. Spicy Tuna Rolls-slight disappointment. The tuna is ground up and mixed with the spices to make it spicy. I would not order this again. After talking to your server, she said I could oder traditional tuna rolls and have the spices applied externally rather than mixed up in a ground up fashion. Perhaps I will order this way next time but there is so many other dishes that need to be tried. 4. Big Shrimp Tempura. Wonderful. Great flavors I looked at other tables and Bento Boxes, ramen dishes and hibachi items looked really, really good and need to be explored as well. I'm predicting we will become regulars here. What a great place!!
