I will say this when you deal with this company, as far as watch batteries, make sure the condition of your watch is documented and or acknowledged. I recommend you photograph your property before you give it to them. The smart thing they did was packing the watch up and sealing it before I picked it up. Thus, allowing them to hide the damage. Ultimately, I should have inspected the watch before I left but I didn't know I was dealing with a dishonest situation. The staff at this location lies to customers and to their support team. They broke my watch and lied about it. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience on 10/27/2022. I dropped off three watches to have batteries replaced. Dinero, the manager, assisted me. He closely examined each watch to ensure he could work on them and to determine whether they were waterproof. He gave me a price and asked for my phone number. He told me that he would let me know when they were ready. I went to lunch and came back about 2 hours later even though I'd never heard anything from him. When I arrived, Dinero said that he noticed something strange with one of my watches. He said the face had a strange "slant" to it. I had no idea what he was talking about, but he showed me the watch. It had clearly been damaged. The watch face under the crystal was bent and the hands were spinning freely as if they were no longer attached to anything. He claimed that it was in this condition when I dropped it off (it wasn't). He claimed that he didn't contact me, "because he didn't know if I was still around." The other employee at the kiosk was quick to back up his manager with this lie, by chiming in with, "It was that way when you left it." I could see that Dinero and his associate were lying to me and that I wasn't going to get anywhere arguing that they damaged the watch, so I called customer service. Tina was polite on the phone and took my complaint. She said that she would check with Dinero to get his side of the story. She called me back and said that Dinero claimed that he had inspected all three watches and immediately noticed the damage and gave it back to me. He said they couldn't work on a broken watch and that it was never in his possession. That version of the event is a fabrication. Tina said that since I had no proof that they had damaged my watch they would not take responsibility. I asked what kind of proof I could have provided which she would have accepted - she had no answer. The staff at this location lies to customers and to their support team. I have an innate hatred of malls, and of mall kiosks. Maybe it's because I worked at one many years ago, and the trauma stuck with me. But I needed a pocket watch to complete my bad-ass costume (white rabbit) and Fossil was dropping the ball - so I popped over to Dakota Watch company, where the dude working the counter was being very patient with an older woman on the phone with her (husband?). This was a young dude, hipster hair cut, shaved sides of his head. And he was totally patient and helpful - while I hung out on the side and listened to him being patient with her before he came over and helped me out. He got my watch out, set it up, and had me on my way in like five minutes. He was fast and friendly so I give it a thumbs up for that "random watch kiosk experience." read more

I brought in my dad's 1967 Bulova Accutron, which probably hasn't run in 20 years. Even though the technician was slammed with customers, he greeted each of us in turn and served everyone in order. He replaced the battery and showed me a sample of wristbands from a large binder. He was professional and speedy. The whole process took about 20 minutes and the price was very reasonable (about $40). Great service and totally satisfied. Thanks. read more

Would give less than a 1. Manager did not train his employees properly and they almost ruined my watch. Went in for a simple band adjustment and had to come two days later until he was able to fix it. The manager was not even able to apologize and give a 10% discount for my troubles. Then his employees had to apologize for the trouble and the inconvenience. Bad manager bad trainer! read more

They are obviously go through some changes. For years I've taken my friends or my more casual watches there for servicing and have had more than a good experience. Currently they have an employee that simply blew my mind. She treated both me and a middle eastern woman poorly. she actually barked at her, "CAN YOU SPEAK ENGLISH" clearly hearing and seeing that English is her second language. (Me witnessing and easily understanding what the other costumer had said across the opposite side of their convo)It was quite a day. Anyways I already spoke to costumer service but I also wanted to inform new costumers or repeating costumers about the current situation. The company is great but current staff needs training . Will be back but will avoid at all cost if she is around. Would not wish that on my worst enemy she was just a complete buzzkill. Perhaps Polaris location would be better. read more

Came here to get some watch links removed. They charged me $15 the first time (which I think is a little high for less than 5 minutes of work. I've gotten it done for less than $10 before in Boston), but the people here are super friendly and efficient. Furthermore, I realized after a few days that the watch still felt too loose, so I went back and explained my situation, and they took off a few extra links at no charge. Amazing customer service, would definitely recommend if you have any watch issues! read more

Since I was already going to be at Easton shopping, I went here to get my watch battery replaced. They said it was going to take at least 2 hours to get it fixed, but the time they estimated was about 1.5 hours. I did a little shopping, and when I came back it was done. Total came out to be $14, which is pricey. Service was all right. Glad my watch works again! read more

This rating is based on my experience changing the battery w dakota easton. Brought in a tisso watch and when i came to pick it up dakota watch guy said that my watch still blinks. I didnt have the manual w me so i brought it home. Make story short i brought it to another watch store and when new battery was put in it runs good like new. My conclusion that dakota watch guy is a lousy watchmen. How can you not try another battery if watch still blinks, except if you werent doing anything to it in first place. Thumbs down. read more
