I brought my car in after a minor accident to repair a few scratches. My insurance issued payment the first day they had my vehicle. Despite this, they claimed they hadn't received the check and delayed starting work for two weeks -- even though my insurance agent confirmed it had been cashed just days after it was sent. After finally beginning the repair, it took another two weeks to complete what should have been a simple job. A full month later, with virtually no communication, my car was finally ready for pickup. When we arrived, an employee discreetly attempted to charge the battery before handing the car over. What they failed to disclose was that they had completely drained it. The car drove home, but the next day it would not start and displayed a major system warning -- issues that never existed prior to bringing it in. I reached out multiple times with photos and received no response. However, they had no problem repeatedly texting me asking for a review. To make matters worse, my car now has scratches that were not there before, my personal air freshener was thrown away and replaced with a cheap promotional one, and the interior was returned dirty. It's also concerning that while their Google rating appears high, their Yelp rating sits around three stars. Given my experience -- and even a local AutoZone employee mentioning that customers frequently come in after issues with this shop -- it makes you question the consistency of those positive reviews. Between the dishonesty, lack of communication, and refusal to take accountability, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend this business.

Being from out of town on a limited time schedule to get the car fixed I turned to AAA for assistance and found this shop on the AAA certified auto repair listings. I decided to go with them because of their high ratings/reviews. My daughter has a 2000 Toyota Echo and she has been having problems with the brake lights staying on once the car was turned off. Each time she arrived at her destination she would have to disconnect the fuse under the dash board or her car would be dead when she returned. I called the shop when they opened this morning, explained the situation, and was asked to drop the car off to be inspected. When I arrived Alex is the one who greeted me, remembered the conversation we had on the phone earlier. After the paperwork was completed he explained the process, the estimated cost for that specific issue but also made sure that I was aware the cost would be different if that wasn't the issue and the diagnostic showed something different. I let Alex know I was staying at the hotel down the street, which was a little over 3 miles away, and would be walking to/from the shop. When he heard the situation he offered to drop me off/pick me up but I declined... it's a beautiful day outside plus it would give me time to talk on the phone with my kiddos. I was on my walk back with less than 10 min to my destination when he called stating my car was fixed and ready to be picked up. He explained that the issue in question looked like it had a fairly new part and only needed to be adjusted properly; once they did it the problem resolved. When I got back to the shop I was greeted by Whitney and to my surprise the invoice read $0.00. He did not try to charge me for a new part, or upsell anything. As it turns out, my son who is not mechanically inclined did change the part about 9 months prior and the issue has been happening since then, so my daughter inherited the issue when she got the car. If you need work honest work done on your car at a reasonable price, look no further because Sav-Mor Auto Clinic is the shop to go!!! Thank you again :)
