They saved me today from getting stuck with a very expensive battery. Ryan and Bula had a battery that would work, and they easily made it work and that it was safe. I had the dealership order a new battery for my car, 4-5 day delivery turned into three weeks , ending up where they ordered the wrong battery. I returned the wrong battery to them and asked for a full refund only to be told that because it was a special order, they couldn't refund me. I pointed out. They ordered the wrong battery and I'm not gonna wait three weeks for a new one, finally they allowed the return. Needless to say I won't be going to them for any parts in the future. read more

I just bought 6 LPS12-285 AGM batteries because I was told by the new owner, Ryan that they would last 7 years. After installing the batteries I found out that they only have 50% of there capacity after 1200 cycles or about 3.3 years so I called Daleco within 2 hours of the purchase to ask if I can return them. At first he denied that they said that they would last 7 years then switched to arguing that they would. He refused to take them back even if if I paid him a restocking fee. The manufacturer's technician says on average they last about 3 to 4 years. The new owner should not run a business. read more

Stay away from them. The batteries they sell lack quality and don't last. Their 'free' installation sucks too, as somebody if you don't watch might rip out some electric cables 'accidentally'. They are to pricey anyway. The new ownership doesn't care. read more

This place in the old Industrial has been around longer than I have in Kona, which makes me feel somewhat ancient. Back before the big box retailers they were the best option in town, and I am happy to see them thriving still. To make a long story short, my ten year old Benz had it's battery replaced 3 years ago; it lost it's charge, the Benz dealer wanted $265 for the authentic Benz battery, plus an appointment to install unless I wanted to do myself, which I considered doing after watching how to on youtube. Instead I called Daleco, they had a replacement available for $150 with a better warranty, and they put it in for free. The guys who helped me behind the counter and putting in the battery were friendly, and knew what they were doing, telling me about all the strange places car batteries are located these days. In the future, when I need a battery, this is the place I will call first. Mahalo. read more

This place is amaziiiiing!!! I was literally there for maybe 4 mins. I was greeted on my way to the door, told them I needed a new battery, and literally 30 seconds later they had the machine hooked up to test its power level. After confirming my battery was the problem, I went inside to pay and as the gentleman handed me my receipt the guy outside replaced it and it was ready to rock!
