So now if you have an appointment it means nothing. I had an appointment for today and was waiting for 25 minutes i asked how long this would take to get started, the response was I have no idea. After checking the response was probably another 1/2 hour but there was no promises in the mean time they let 2 other cars go in front of me. They didn't give any consideration to my time as they are the ones who set the appointment. I was also quoted an out the door price and that was not going to be honored as well. I also had a coolant leak that did not seem to be getting worse with time, but those types of things need to be evaluated and repaired. So, I called a number of shops and Trojan was able to get me in the day I called. Two exact matching tires, alignment, water pump & coolant change, with an original rear strut that broke loose replacement later, I was on the road. Trojan gave me a ride home while they worked on Rhonda (that's my car) and my wife gave me a ride back to Trojan Auto Care after I received a phone call telling me the issues were repaired. Their prices were a little elevated than the old country mechanic I had used in the past, but my old country mechanic never returned my call.

When getting an oil change and tire rotation a few months later, the chevy dealership in beavercreek, not troy, said that the hex bolts were too tight and they were going to break if they tried to get them off, so I told them to skip the rotation. Turns out, chevrolet of troy over torqued my hub cap cover's hex bolts. Fast forward to today, I got a nail in my tire and took it to discount tire to have it fixed and decided to do a rotation. They ended up having to break one of the covers off to remove the tire for a rotation because their allen key broke when trying to break the hex bolts loose. Another cap's bolts sheared off when they tried to loosen them. Came here to figure out a solution and was told by troy's service manager that because I didn't come back to this shop, they would not do a thing. Why would I want to come back to this shop after this? 13 years and this was a first! I figured that because this was a dealerships shop, they would know when to use power tools vs when to hand tighten something, but I obviously assumed wrong. Steer clear of this place. (note that the pictures are after the work from discount tire, but I'm not sure what "magic" chevrolet of troy would have performed to get a different result when 2 other places said this would happen...)

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him
