Sometimes you see a business that has 5-stars across several review sites and you can't help thinking, 'Yeah, right. Probably has a hundred friends and relatives who wrote that. Nobody can be that good....' ...except this guy. Dr. D is da bomb! One of the best dental experiences I've had in a long time! From the friendly and professional front office staff, to the sweet and gentle hygienists, everyone here obviously loves what they do and who they work for. And once you meet Dr. Adam Dalesandro, you quickly realize why. What a NICE guy! He's just one of those people that you meet and 5 minutes later, it feels like you've known him forever. He has a way of instantly gaining your trust and it is NOT misplaced. I went in for a simple filling today and didn't feel a thing! Not even the famous "little pinch" (aka huge stab) that you usually get when they fill your skull full of numbing stuff. I was in and out in less than an hour and I didn't have to take a second mortgage out on my house to pay the bill! Used to be one of our best experiences. Left the area for years and went back to them as soon as we moved back. Drove over an hour because our past experience was so positive. Then things started to shift. Started with phone calls being early. Asked not to be called before 9. Next two contacts were at 8:19 and 8:30. Strange insurance charges started also. Claimed insurance would cover part of work fine beyond the basics. It didn't. No cash price. Then insurance company said one of the dentists was not on their preferred list. Had to pay more for basic care. No explanation from the office. Just sent a bill for more money. Latest appointment the front office said that the insurance company would cover part of the crown procedure. Checked with the insurance. They only cover check-ups and annual X-rays. No idea what has changed or why front office is being dishonest. Looking for a new dentist now. Can't recommend this place anymore. read more

I had great experiences until recently. A faulty filling resulted in one of my teeth cracking. I almost had to wait a month before getting in. When I got in, they said I would need a crown and when I asked the front desk how much I owed for this appointment, they said they weren't going to charge me. In my appreciation and surprise at not being charged, one of the receptionist even said, "we're not one of those dentists that gouge people for money." Ironic, because I just got my bill for that appointment today. Only come here if you want confusing bills that come months late. I wish dentists valued integrity and respect toward their patients, but perhaps that's a lost virtue. read more

Dr. Dalesandro and his staff are kind and caring as well as professional. My whole family went to his office for five years, all with excellent experiences. Then, unfortunately our insurance changed and I went to a new dentist who told me I needed 4 crowns and 9 fillings! I had never had problems with my teeth and was experiencing no pain. And it had been just 8 months since I had last seen Dr. Dalesandro. I was shocked and suspicious and didn't know what to do. I finally went by Dr. Dalesandro's office asking for a recommendation from a list of dentists who accepted my new insurance. When I explained my situation at the front desk, they were compassionate and scheduled me for a consultation/second opinion. Upon review of my recent Xrays, Dr. Dalesandro said at most I might need one filling. I was so relieved that I was teary. He didn't charge me for that visit and kindly recommended a new dentist. I may end up staying with him and just paying out of pocket. I completely trust and appreciate him and his staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! My experience with Dr Dalesandro and his staff has been excellent. My previous dentist had said my tooth couldn't be saved and I'd need an implant. I just wasn't ready for that, so I started asking about other dentists. The only dentist recommended by my doctor and a few friends was Dr Dalesandro. And now I know why! He was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to explain the options available as well as how likely they were to work, and he was willing to work with me to see if a crown could work instead of an implant. And so far I'm happy to say that it is! I'm extremely grateful to Dr Dalesandro and his staff for making this happen! I'm very impressed with the practice as a whole. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely cheerful and friendly everyone is. In talking to some of the staff, that's apparently due in part to being treated so well by the doctors -- they are genuinely happy to be there. They are also extremely knowledgeable and do excellent work. And they take time each step of the way to explain what they're doing. So it would seem that, like those I talked to when I was looking, the only dentist I'd recommend is Dr Dalesandro. read more

Dr. Dalesandro and his team were instrumental in my transition from my old dentist and took the time to care about my dental care. Their hygienist has a gentle touch and is very thorough. Their office staff is professional and keep on top of your appointments. Dr. Dalesandro noticed that I had old fillings that were cracking my teeth due to their age and he suggested removing them and replacing them with a new material that would not only look like my own teeth but was more durable. I have to say it's nice not seeing those nasty old mental fillings in my mouth... I'm another step closer to that smile I'm trying to achieve. I picked this dentist on the recommendation of my dentist in San Diego. It's a 50 minute drive from my house to this office and absolutely worth the drive. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The hygienist who cleans my teeth is gentle and thorough. Dr. Dalesandro is top notch. He is kind and gentle. He makes sure the patient is ok throughout any procedure. What really stood out was how he thanks his dental assistant during the procedure. That is the behavior of a caring employer. The staff are taking all the necessary precautions regarding the Covid virus. The office is simply decorated with the focus on the patients comfort. We do not have great dental coverage so the front office always gives us pretty accurate estimates with our different treatment options. read more

I had a teeth cleaning done in July and it was one of the best experiences I have had at the dentist. I liked how Dr. Delesandro did not recommend unnecessary procedures/fillings. The cleaning was very thorough, but also very gentle! I left feeling great and in no pain. I also had my front teeth contoured by Dr. Delesandro to get rid of the unsightly ridges at the bottom of the teeth. I am very pleased at the results! The dentist is great but the rude woman that works in the front office could take a page from Miss Manners. Totally humiliated me in front of a waiting room full of patients. Very loudly, told me that she knew I no longer had insurance because my soon to be ex husband had called her and said he had cancelled my policy. Totally illegal for him to do, but instead of verifying with the insurance company, she took his word.Then shamed me for not having a family member number I could put on the emergency contact form. When I told her the only family I had, was my Mother in Canada, she replied, Well, I guess 911 will have to do! She turned a routine cleaning into an opportunity to air my personal issues for everyone to enjoy. If they ever fire her, I will be back. read more
