Very cute and cozy breakfast place we checked out while visiting from out of town. They were busy when we arrived (basically a full house, table capacity is maybe 40ish) but we were sat right away. Food was good. Service was good. Small restaurant, so was a little crowded. Don't know what brand coffee they used, but probably one of my favorites. My only complaint is they are one of those "penny pinching" restaurants. Meaning, will charge you full price for a coffee to go if you ordered one and drank it with the meal, but want your last cup to go. Will charge $2 for people to share a meal (example: 2 people order one meal and split it, a $10 meal is now $12). I don't really care for that; would prefer it be built into the overall pricing knowing that may happen on occasion. Why penalize people that are either doing portion control or on a budget? The price of a meal should be the price of a meal. I mean, you don't charge a single person a single diner up charge. You wouldn't charge a person that just ordered coffee a no food charge. Just doesn't make sense because that's essentially the same thing. Who cares if one person is eating a meal or two people are eating it. read more

Nice little place in the strip mall. The breakfast portions are very fair. The service was good, with a exceptionally kind staff. All the skillets are decent. The potato pancakes were unlike any I have had before. Not my favorite, flat, not much flavor, texture, or potato. They need to scrap that recipe and try some of the local Polish, or Lithuanian potato pancakes. So stay away from ordering them until they get a handle on them. If you live around the corner from here I could see it being a regular spot. I just wouldn't go out of the way to dine here again. Wishing them the best though read more

I guess they have been open for a couple of weeks now that the great covid quarantine has been partially lifted. They have several tables outside, which is under the building canopy, which keeps the sun off of your table. And inside they have the tables spaced far enough apart, so that you keep your distance. Also all the people working there had face masks on. Tables were wiped clean after each use as were the menus. The food that was ordered was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. read more

I live in the LaGrange area and was in the neighborhood so I decided to yelp a restaurant and check out the local eateries. My husband and I decided to stop in and give Dalia's a try & I'm glad we did. The hostesses & waitresses were very welcoming and attentive not to mention the food came out fast & hot. If I am in the area again I would definitely go back given the food was delicious, proportions we ample and the staff was very welcoming. It's been open for two weeks and it does not have any of the usual bumps or issues of most new places. Greeting - Yes, you will be greeted with a genuine smile and kind demeanor to make you feel welcome. Service - Our server was very prompt, attentive, and friendly. Perfect amount of attention. I did not have to ask for water refills or ask for any other type of utensils. She checked up on our table to see if we needed anything, periodically, but not overbearing at all. Food - Excellent! I ordered the Spartan Omelette which has spinach, onions, mushrooms, and feta cheese. Best omelette I've had in a long time. The eggs were cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Cleanliness - Yes, it is very clean. No weird smells. Tables are clean with no sticky spots. Plates, utensils, and glasses are clean with no spots or lipstick stains. Ambiance/atmosphere - It's nice and quaint inside. While in the area, I took a chance on a good breakfast. The service was pleasant, my order was taken as soon as I made a decision. I ordered "Dalias Omelette" very fluffy eggs, with mixed ham peppers mushrooms, and American cheese in the middle. The omelette was shaped like a little football (American football) with side of hash brown potatoes. I found this was a excellent value for what you pay. I am surprised they don't charge more. $15.11 and it came with coffee. I had the side of pancakes, and they were good. I would have rated 5 star, but I like to leave room for improvement. Came in based on yelp reviews and I must say we were not disappointed. My wife and I ordered the #1 and #2 and it was so much food. My wife had the pancakes and I had the French toast. Both hot and fresh, eggs cooked Perfectly and hash browns were done right also. The waitress was very attentive, the coffee was very good and I believe it was well priced.
