Dalinghaus just finished a major foundation repair on our home. Our house is on a hill & our family room and master bedroom experienced downward & lateral movement after the heavy rains the last 2 years. Dalinghaus put in 16 helical piers & 4 helical tie backs. Our on-site crew- Ben Conner, Ben Lett, & Angel Pena- was fantastic. They are experienced, hard working, & professional. They were on time, worked tirelessly throughout the day, & were respectful of us, our neighbors, & our yard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During the project, they even built a little bridge so our 13-yr old Australian Shepherd could go out her dog door, over the pit where a pier was going in, & into her yard at night![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice people but, while they were happy to answer any questions we had, they were there to do a job & they got after it!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did not appreciate the massive amount of digging and breaking up of concrete that would be required to put that many piers in. After the first few days it looked like a bomb had dropped in our yard but, when they finished the job today, they had our yard looking like it did before they started. And they finished what was an 8-day job in 6.5 days! Can't say enough good things about the Two Bens and Angel. I picked Dalinghaus after receiving 4 bids. Brian Novotny of Dalinghaus spent a good amount of time at the house & his bid was thorough & complete. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a list of detailed questions, and he responded back w/in 24 hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was up front about wanting an accurate bid so that I wouldn't be hit with change orders driving up the cost after work started. The installation process was seamless. Ryan, Jose, and Jayden were very professional and finished things ahead of schedule. Ben & his team were professional, worked quickly, proficiently, did a great job, and cleaned up everything when finished. Ben Connor is knowledgeable in doing a final measurement evaluation after the pinning which was a lot more accurate than the initial one that was done by the salesperson. We contacted Dalinghaus to provide a quote as part of the Earthquake Brace + Bolt program. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unlike other certified contractors in the area, Dalinghaus contacted us immediately and set up a time shortly thereafter to come out to give a quote, while other contractors either didn't call back at all or merely provided a quote without an inspection or context.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dalinghaus's project manager, Mark Cook came out, donned his protective overalls, and quickly made work of the inspection. His commitment towards customer service was admirable; his recommendations were forthright and trustworthy. While the bolting wouldn't be necessary, his inspection did uncover other issues that we intend on using Dalinghaus for in the future. My experience with this team/company has been nothing short of perfect. We have dealt with foundation issues in the past and have had clients and buyers use and get quotes from other foundation companies. These guys are the best we've encountered and their pricing was absolutely the best. Lots of companies BS their way through quotes, talk a lot about other projects, and don't give firm answers. Not Dalinghaus. To start the process Mark came out and assessed our situation. He was thorough and only referenced MY project and wasn't long winded (which I found confusing and a sales tactic from other companies). He only stated the facts and his thoughts. He was also a fantastic point man through scheduling and payment and the while the work was being performed. They also appear to have a full team at the office so no call goes unanswered. Everyone has their role and truly knows their role. Lesley - Scheduling - Was incredibly efficient and got us scheduled right when we needed it. Gail - Payments - Incredibly flexible (and patient) on how I was paying. I wanted to break this up on a lower credit credit card (best points) so I needed to break the payments up over 4 days which she patiently accepted. Ryan and his crew - Communicative, clean on site, and patient. We had demo going on at the same time and they never once complained about the noise or having to walk around trailers and other crews. Their work is solid and the house is now level. Icing on the cake? Not only was their price better than the other quotes we received but they decided, with their engineer, than one of the items suggested didn't need to be done with the condition of the foundation. They removed this aspect and my bill went down INCREDIBLY. It was refreshing to know they could have made much more money but instead did right by their client. Highly, highly recommend. On previous projects we've had foundation quotes that are astronomical. These guys made the foundation work not seem overwhelming. Can't recommend enough! read more

When we purchased our house, our inspector noted a crack on a beam under the raised foundation. We got quotes from half a dozen different foundation repair companies and the proposals were completely different in scope and cost. Dalinghaus was the only company that suggested taking follow up measurements to determine where the foundation was settling. With the benefit of hindsight, the two low cost proposals we received would have done nothing to fix our issue and the high cost proposal would have been overkill, adding supports in areas that did not require it. Mark was responsive during the entire quote process which ended up taking a year and a half due to HOA challenges. While not the lowest cost quote we received, it was by far the lowest cost for a repair that actually solved our settling issues. The actual construction process was a breeze. The timeline was clearly laid out up front as well as the inspections and permit costs. Their team coordinated all the inspectors and required almost zero interaction with me over the course of the weeklong repair. The foreman kept me up to date, and when they had to modify the plan because they couldn't access two of the pier install locations, Dalinghaus managed all the changes with almost no impact to us. Gail on their finance team called me up to let me know she was going to get us the cost difference refunded the same day. Gail and the finance team were helpful with setting up a loan through their financing company, Greensky, and getting the charges correctly applied throughout the process. If you are stressed out about foundation issues, Daulinghaus does a fantastic job, from the quote through the final sign off. read more

This is the second time we had Dalinghaus com out to lift our property. First time we had a patio deck lifted. This time the home itself. Excellent work done and quick too. These people have the most polite and courteous crews I have ever worked with in 26 years of home ownership. They got our home back up to where it was (50 years ago!) and they did it without ANY collateral damage. This company is, bay far, the best pricing we obtained from many quotes. I hired Dalinghaus for what seemed to be a tiny project, 1-2 hours. The small shed foundation was right next to a seawall, and turned out to have MANY holes underneath and around, turning into a an entire day of work and materials. They could have tapped out after a few hours, collected half, and went along with their day. They stuck it out for a full day, then returned on a 2nd day, until they succeeded. I contacted Dalinghaus regarding a retaining wall that started leaning due to a crack in it that gotten worse from the rain. Mark Cook was right on time. He discussed with me my options which was to do Carbon Wrap along the crack. In addition, he proposed installing JetFilters at the bottom of the wall to help with the water drainage. The proposal was emailed to me on the same day.Talk about efficiency. Every time I call him for any question he would answer the phone or text me with the answer. Mark is very professional and knowledgeable. My husband decided on replacing the wall instead of fixing it since it's an old wall anyway. Unfortunately Dalinghaus don't build new walls but they fix them. If I need any foundation repairs in the future I will call Dalinghaus in a heartbeat. I would not recommend Dalinghaus Construction to anyone who wants the work to be done professionally. Their work is not guaranteed. Please read "Contract exclusions" very carefully. They safeguard themselves so if they damage your home, they are not responsible. We were unfortunately forced to use them for a chimney repair from the previous owner we bought our home. They damaged our roof and promptly sent over their contract exclusions. Our roof is now leaking after their chimney repair. We were told that they are not responsible since they covered themselves with exclusions. So now we have to spend more money to pay for something that Dalinghaus damaged and isn't going to fix. Avoid them at all costs if you don't want to pay for their shoddy work. read more
