This is the SMALL mixed vegetable tempura & the LARGE Hennessy Nut Cracker which is soooo good ...

Service was great ... I also had a small order of macaroni and cheese which was supposed to be sprinkled on top with bacon and corn bread crumbles ... the topping was barely more than bacon and cornbread dust ... the macaroni was tender but the cheese part was more like cheese sauce ... soupy

Amazing food and service. I got the chicken healthy power bowl and it was so good. Highly recommend this place to others!

New Yorkers know or should know not to come to Dallas for some omg culinary experience. That's not what they hear for. Get them wings get hey drink and leave. Anything else besides the rotisserie chicken and you're playing poker and the house always wins. So play it safe play it right get them jumbo steriod wings sauces on the side before they drown them like Jason at camp crystal lake. And order your Tex size with that extra shot. We'll wait now they got the extra Tex size now I don't need to order two. Hell order the extra large Texas size henny colada.

I did not like the chicken at all. I had Henny boneless which was not good at all. And I had the sticky boneless which was better than the Henny boneless but not by much. The chicken didn't taste fresh/made to order. I ordered Togo so I can't speak on the sit down service but the food was a miss. The cornbread was good though. That's about it. I may need to try something else if I'm to go back there.

Anytime I am home (NJ) I must hop across the GWB to grab a frozen drink and wings at BBQs because there literally is no place like it outside of NYC. We all know we aren't talking about upscale fancy dining or authentic Texas style BBQ ... but what we are talking about is massive out of this world frozen drinks (which there is always a new drink anytime I visit) along with massive chicken wings! Their frozen drink of the month was a Grey Goose Lychee mashup and after the server allowed us to taste it we knew it's what we had to get ... and I literally sounded like a kid screaming with surprise and delight when I saw the server carrying the drinks because I had no idea the presentation would be so fly!!! One drink was all we needed because we of course went "Texas Sized" with extra shots in them ... and the wings were slamming as usual, so much so that I didn't even take pics of them! We had leftovers because as I mentioned the wings are massive and a small order comes with 5 full wings. OH and our server Manny was AWESOME! He is truly 5 stars (& could work at a fine dining establishment if he wanted ... but I'm sure he would have more fun at BBQs). Until next time BBQs!

My research lab works in the same building as this restaurant so we frequently come here for drinks after work. Would I come to this restaurant for any other reason? No lol but I really appreciate that this place exists. They have some really funky drinks and appetizers to enjoy with good company. I have fun when I come here mostly because of the people I go with. Pina coladas are good and the crispy shrimp is actually pretty good too, skip the fries and chicken tenders. Service is pretty good too, I'm honestly surprised that they haven't kicked out our group before since we rarely get real food and just get drinks and apps haha. Come here for the vibes, not to eat actual good food.

I got the honey crusted wings meal and the chicken was not very flavorful. It looked better then it tasted the server was cool and was telling us about deals and stuff. The restaurant was pretty big but not many ppl inside.

Dallas BBQ is in a convenient location right near Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Washington Heights. I find myself ordering from here when I am visiting friends. I typically order the half chicken with yellow rice combo. The portion sizes are large and the food is packed with flavor. The best part of my meal is the cornbread. It comes freshly baked, warm, and delicious. I would just the order the cornbread here every day if i could. When I am dining in the service has been good. With everything going on with the pandemic I expected some delays. The Bulldog drinks here are very strong and worth the cost. If you are feeling a little dangerous you should try out the Henny Colada. Overall, this is a cool place to hang out in whenever I am in Washington Heights.

I came to this Bbqs after a day at the hospital. It's across the street from New York Presbyterian Hospital. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two hostess. I needed a table for two they sat me promptly. Upon sitting, the waiter came over rather quickly, but he gave us time to choose what we wanted to order. I ordered a specialty cocktail that came with a Coronita. It was so good! I ordered the 10 piece cocktail shrimp to share. Those were bomb! I also ordered fried chicken and shrimp to go. The service was prompt. The waiter was amazing. Food was hot and ready to eat!

This is the old hang out spot with family. These BBQ'S Drinks is on there own. The service is always good when we go. The atmosphere is a chill vibe. Afterwork relaxation. I always have the Baby Back Ribs, Yellow Rice and Cornbread. We always have a good time on our old stomping ground. BBQ'S will always be BBQ'S!!!

Very good place to visit while you are in NYC. The food is really good, Texas size serving even with the drinks. Worth your money. Will come back and highly recommend.

I went on Saturday May 7th 2022 after a few years and I was very disappointed. Starting from the waiting area which is dirty to the Couch which is straight up DISGUSTING. This took away my appetite. The only decent thing was the margarita and it was a bit weak. I think this place doesn't have a manager or doesn't care about it cause keeping a restaurant cleaning with a fresh coat of paint and the couches in good condition doesn't take or cost much. Here is a picture of one of the couch and is not even the worse. The Manager should be ashamed.

Yesterday I was searching for a restaurant where I could sit outside and enjoy a relaxing lunch and while there are many takeout places near the Columbia Presbyterian hospital complex, there weren't many options for outdoor seating. I was about to give up when I saw a familiar restaurant: Dallas BBQ near the corner of Broadway and 166th Street. I've eaten at there other locations and have always been impressed with the consistency of their cooking and their surprisingly reasonable prices. I was greeted by two waitresses, Nicole and Rosa who were both very helpful and helped me pick out a selection of delicious dishes for my lunch! I loved the half BBQ chicken with dipping sauce! I especially liked the staff who really made my lunch a lovely experience!

If you want to pay in cash, make sure you have the exact amount. The meat was so flavorful and the fat was rendered beautifully off of the meat! I'm docking 1 star because they had accidentally given us 4 skewers instead of 5 that we ordered when they gave up the skewers wrapped in tin foil, anddddd after consuming the skewers did we realize we did not get the variety we ordered, but instead 4 lamb and 1 chicken gizzard. The lamb was honestly so delicious though we weren't even mad!

I saw that they have music on certain days so if you interested in some music come check it out. We ordered the two meat meal with greens, mac n cheese, and corn bread. They didn't have any pork belly burnt ends ready so that was a bummer. The food came out fairly quick which was nice. Everything looked really good. The brisket was cooked perfect and nice fatty parts to it if you like that. There was some good smoke to it and nice seasoning to it. The ribs were a little overcooked and not much meat on them. The mac n cheese was really good, nice amount of cheese, noodles cooked perfect, and nice seasoning in it. The greens were also cooked perfect, not mushy, great flavor, and also seasoned right. The cornbread was off the hook, very tasty with great flavor. I like that they mixed corn in the cornbread. We also ordered the Banana Wafer Pudding which was delicious. NIce flavor and the wafers were fresh and crunchy, I just needed more of them. We tried to wait for Pork Belly burnt ends but we had to go. The BBQ sauces were just ok, nothing to say hey you have to try it. I'd definitely be back to this place if I'm in town. Don't know why they only have 3.5 stars. The service was also good. I so wanted to give a 5 star but I just couldn't.

Since our program covered the expenses, we didn't pay anything out of pocket. Now I enjoy a good BBQ cookout at home as much as the next family, but don't care for it as a dining experience. My employer catered BBQ luncheons from time to time, and even then I wasn't crazy about it. Here in Hill Country, a room was reserved for us (party of 36). Our dinnerware resembled army mess tins lined with sanitary papers; our glasses resembled moonshine jars complete with screw threads at the rim for lids. Our dinner was a catered set of longhorn cheddar mac & cheese (quite good), sliced brisket (meh), market chicken (a little tough), fresh baked cornbread (dry & hard) and collard greens (good but could be saltier). I consumed massive amounts of mac & cheese and collared greens to help swallow down the almost rock-hard cornbread. Desert was chocolate chip cookies (that wasn't bad). Some members of the group ordered liquor (at their own expense) to celebrate the good time they were having. Customer service was less than stellar. The waitress did not inform us that soft drinks were complimentary until after we finished eating. That wasn't all. The restroom was located downstairs past the bar room. During my two visits - before and after the food was served - the same staff member was there cleaning. He had just finished the sinks when I went in the first time. On the second visit, the front door was blocked from the inside by a pail - he was mopping the floor. Couldn't he have waited till the off-peak hours to do that?? Customer service and cornbread were enough for me to not recommend this restaurant.

We ordered the value meal, which included several cuts of beef, chicken breast, a plate of pork, veggies, rice, salad, corn, and edamame. The salad was a bit salty but still a refreshing start -- and Annie even mixed and split it into two bowls for us, which I really appreciated. The meats took a little while to come out, but once they did, we got right to grilling. At first, only about five plates arrived, and I thought the chicken might have been missing. Turns out that was just the first half -- the rest came shortly after. For a set under $80, the amount of food was impressive, and everything was good quality and filling. Service was excellent from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with lighting that felt cozy but still bright enough to see what you're grilling. Overall, a great experience.
