My daughter has been involved in the Musical Theater Academy for 4 years and some of her best friends are in her acting classes. DCT specializes in bringing the best out of children and helping them all become performers! They are extremely professional and our experience has been exceptional. If you are interested in a wonderful positive environment for your child to learn acting and musical theater technique, DCT is the place!

Such a great asset to the Dallas area - took the kids to see "Goodnight Moon" there last month and it's always an incredible experience.

The seats were surpirisingly more comfortable than I expected, although the legroom was a little tight for my long legs. For reference, I'm 5'9 1/2". The acoustics were excellent! I liked that there were drinks and food options available, and that drinks could be brought into the theater. That's rare. My only complaint, which may not be the fault of the Majestic, was that the lead singer's voice was drowned out by the instruments. To be fair, Amber's (the lead singer) voice is very sweet and soft. The instruments of the band sounded great and were very crisp and clear, which was a testament to the sound system and acoustics in the room, but they overpowered the lead singer. The lighting on the stage was also very good. In the basement of the theater, there are vintage artifacts from the theater, and details about the history of the items and the theater. This is very nice and a great way to preserve and teach the history of the Majestic for generations to come. For parking, there's a nearby outdoor parking lot down the street but the cost is $30 to park. I would definitely return to the Majestic for a concert!

Because the charges kept appearing, we eventually went back in person to cancel again. On top of that, the instructor who was supposedly teaching the lesson we were billed for wasn't even present. It's extremely frustrating to repeatedly request cancellation and still see charges appear on your card. At this point I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. If you sign up here, make sure you get written confirmation of any cancellation and monitor your statements closely.

The program is run by Todd Griffith, an accomplished musician himself with a degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In addition to being a talented drummer, Todd is an amazing administrator who possesses that unique combination of creativity, business acumen and people skills. The facility itself is modern and cool with wood accents and a super positive vibe. There's a waiting area with comfy couches and chairs and free WiFi while you wait. There's no games here. DAMPA offers fair and honest pricing and an incredibly high level of quality instruction. There was an art installation (similar or part of Meow) and so much fun to take a look at this vibrant and funky art. For Insta people, lots of fun photo opportunities! There is a giant steel structure/installation that has lots of space to climb in, slide through and explore. So much to see and we spent a good 60 mins of play there. Make sure to check the corners ( you're allowed to go in) so you don't miss anything. We almost missed an area. Also there is some areas to do some art as well. We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers. I wore the wrong shoes and couldn't go into certain areas. Great concept and fun!
