DO NOT GET DENTURES HERE. I've had two sets. the office stated they have no control over the labs quality. soon as you eat or drink they turn brown and remain all day until you can soak them again. leaving you to walk around all day talking to people with brown teeth. They were quick to offer a refund instead of rectifying the issue. I was promised a refund if I turned in the brown stained ones. I have been getting the run around. I used to like coming here but the last few times I feel I am being scammed. There is always a "we need to do this" or "you need this" and it all cost extra. Problem is when you tell them no I just want what my insurance pays it's an issue. The last time here was a horrible experience and the hygienist was the worst. She refused to do the cleaning and was horribly rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Do not go to this place. They will tell you to keep coming back for different exams just to rob you. I was told a month ago by them I had inflamed gums and I would have to come back for a full exam to figure out what cleaning they can do. This was my first time to this office and I have to say, I am so impressed! My positive experience started when I called to schedule the appointment. BJ was so friendly, I called on a Friday and she got me in the following Monday. She emailed me a link and I completed everything online. All I had to do was check-in when I got there. I saw Dr Patterson who went over everything and decided to refer me to a specialist so they could get a CT of the tooth. After doing the poke test Andrea did a deep cleaning then scheduled another deep cleaning in 3 months. read more

I'm a senior citizen. (On SS, I have no money) When I visit the dentist, I normally get the gas. Due to the stress. I pay extra for this. On my first visit to Dallas Dental Smiles, I took the gas. Quickly I discovered that the Office Staff, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienist, where professional and are GREAT at what they do. They minimize my stress and pain asap. The customer service attitude; caring, kind, thoughtful. They put me in mind of the Beverly Hillbillies Theme Lyrics: "they would like to thank you folks for kindly droppin in. You're all invited back next week to this locality To have a heapin helpin of their hospitality Hillbilly that is. Set a spell, take your shoes off. Y'all come back now, uhear?" They are good, hard-working folks, easy to do business with! Let me tell you how they handled my toothache: When I arrived for my appointment (they were fitting me in). The office staff checked me in with lighting speed. Within minutes, I was being moved to THE CHAIR. (I was thinking to myself; I should had taken that little blue pill). So, I took the gas as fast as I could. The Dental Assistant was waiting for me! She took X-rays, prep for the Dentist, and started the gas. The Dentist came in and examined my teeth and mouth. He told me I would need a CROWN. He got me out of pain. Due to his GENTLE care and skill sets. I didn't need the gas. He then explained my current oral health to me. Then he presented an action plan to restore my oral health. It was a lot of money! But it was far less than what I expected. It was more than fair. Then I was moved to the office staff. WOW: This nice Lady, got my dental insurance to pay!!! Making the action plan affordable! So, I agreed to the plan. They started to work on a Crown. I was going to have a temporary Crown for a few weeks. After about a week later, I destroyed the temporary crown. It was late in the afternoon. I called Dallas Dental! They stayed late and fixed my problem after they were closed. NO CHARGE! They worked on my teeth through the summer. I didn't need the gas. They are that good. Now, the reason I wrote this review. This week, I had an appointment to have my teeth clean. I messed up; the appointment was for 10:00am. I wrote down 11:00am. They called me at 10:15am. I was doing chores just down the road. I got there at 10:30am. As usual the waiting room was busy. Again, the customer service attitude; caring, kind, thoughtful. (Think of the Beverly Hillbillies Theme Lyrics) Within a few minutes NIKKI (A Dental Hygienist) came out and took me to the chair. No stress. She talked to me about my oral health as she carefully, methodically cleaned my teeth. No gas needed! I recommend Dallas Dental Smiles to everyone for these three reasons: The outstanding customer service, professionalism, and genuine concern for their patients is the number one reason. And is why the waiting room is always busy. The second reason is they know how to get the insurance to pay! (there's a first for everything) The third reason is their fair pricing to begin with. Friendly staff and they were able to get me in the same day for an emergency appointment. However very disappointed to find out they don't perform certain treatments (such as what I was needing) if it's too close to their closing time, would've been nice to know that ahead of time. Being friendly is only half the job. I had a wisdom tooth "extracted" here only to find out by a real oral surgeon that this place's "extraction" is defined as just doing the best they can to get it out, but forget the roots. These lovely humans decided to leave infected roots in my mouth and didn't tell me. So now I get to pay for this surgery AGAIN because I guess doing it right the first time isn't important. So no, I wouldnt recommend this place unless you enjoy having your gums dug into whilst your awake just for it to not be done properly. Once again Dallas Dental has the worst customer service ever! They do not do their job and call the patient nor run the patients insurance until the day of the appointment so you assume you don't have to pay anything only to get into the office check and be told you have a balance! Then no one knows what they are doing, first they say it's a balance you owe from previous visits then after lying several times they look again and come up with another reason like oh it's a deductible!! After you leave a review they wanna try and call and resolve so that their ratings stay good!! Once again finding another dentist who is more responsible and will do their jobs and call the patient like they are suppose to and run the insurance 2-3 days prior to the appointment not wait until a patient gets infront of them to talk about money. please know everything going in because these people try and charge your money saying insurance didn't pay anything read more

New patient appointment scheduled at 8:30 am after 9:50 am and not yet seeing a doctor I walked out of the room. Upon leaving I was told to allow the doctor a few more moments to see me... I drive over an hour just to come to this dentist. I have never felt more welcome and acknowledged at any other office. The front desk greets you with a smile and provides you a mask. The dental assistants (Jamie in particular in my experience) are just beyond helpful and patient. Always happy. The dentist will not stop working and revising your treatment plan until she has your smile where it needs to be. I could go on and on. I cannot recommend this place enough. This place is a complete sham. I paid about $500 AFTER my insurance paid them for my cleaning. They still keep sending me bills saying "You signed it, you have to pay up & this is the last bill you're going to receive". Avoid using them, after consulting with my friends and family I came to realize I paid too much at this place. So please look for other places. read more
