The reason I took off 2 stars is because the front desk lady, the older one with the glasses, has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. Enough to make your day worse. What I've noticed is she is only rude to me, but turns around and acts nice to the older people. Maybe it's because I look younger. Isn't that ageist? Highly unethical. I'm a patient too, with my own set of worries and problems (clearly, I'm at an eye doctor's). Upon reading other reviews, I'm not the only one that felt this way. I think it would help to send her to a workshop to handle clients in distress (or clients in general), especially in a medical setting. She needs to learn about multiculturalism and "do no harm." Though, that may be a waste of time and money because some people are just fake and incapable of empathy. It's a shame I have to see this front desk lady every time I need quality eye care. Besides that, Dr Hargrave is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend her.

And that in the three months of waiting and already having paid, because they never received it, they never ordered my trial contacts until I showed up in person. After this, my trials eventually came, but the left eye contact did not work. So a reorder was made, only for them to leave me waiting again. Called again and they claimed they had reached out, they did not... Negligence is common play here. I would only recommend this clinic if you have at minimum 6 months to waste waiting for your contacts. 0/0 stars experience

Receptionist was very kind, but also helpful in addressing all of my insurance related concerns (I have terrible insurance). The staff and the doctor were great. Didn't have to repeat myself 10 times with the same information, they seemed to communicate well amongst themselves. The doctor was thorough, and surprisingly welcomed me (by name) as I walked into the building for my follow up appt a few days later. I don't usually ever leave reviews, but when I have a positive experience at the doctors I want to make it known....hard to come by teams this nice.

It was the most thorough eye work up I have ever had. The staff was so considerate of the pain I was in and took special care to make me feel comfortable and remedy my situation as swiftly as possible. The over the top care did not end with the office visit. The staff ( Brenda) helped me with over the top customer service as she tried to secure the medicine needed- even after I left Dallas and returned home to Seattle. I instead went to a WONDERFUL clinic in Las Colinas and paid less than $1,500 with my Medicare. The staff at Lind Burk's clinic seems to be not qualified, don't have a good knowledge of costs, or are upselling to pay for such a huge staff. I felt like I was in a car showroom. The clinic I went to has given me 20/20 vision with reasonable follow up visits. This review was to not so much to criticize, but hopefully to maybe suggest they change their practices and be more upfront with costs, procedures and spend more time with the patient (I felt rushed).

Mediocrity is what can be expected at the Strong Eye Care Center. I went to this location at the…read morerequest of my medical physician who wanted me to get my eyes checked because of diabetes. I was given a prescription for contacts and one for glasses. Strong Eye Care asked me to send a copy of my current contact lenses prescription so they could see how they had been previously prescribed. I sent a picture with a box clearly labeled with an L to show which was which. I got the new prescription, filled it and got several boxes of contacts. I have been having trouble focusing so I checked the new prescription with my old ones and saw that they were backwards. I spoke with Dr Strong and his fix to his office's blunder was to write me a new prescription. What about all of the boxes of contacts I bought? What about all the headaches and the discomfort of not seeing properly? I seriously thought something had happened to my eye sight. Some moron at Strong Eye Center asked for my old prescription only to ignore it and give the wrong prescription. Simply writing me a new prescription does not correct their mistake. They need to own it and make it right!

He was chosen based on convenience since he is located in the office buildings at Baylor and I can just mosey over there for my appointment. The staff that works there is generally pretty friendly, although I think the dude that works in there is a little more friendly than the chick (hmm maybe because I am a chick? eh I dunno.) I would watch when your insurance gets charged for your visit though, one time the billing person charged my insurance twice and it took an act of Congress to have it fixed. Dr. Adams himself is very friendly and fun to talk to and he gives you tips such as to buy your contacts from Target or another discounter rather than spend extra there. He writes prescriptions for my contacts as well as glasses each and every time. He is an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist, which means he is a medical doctor and can do surgeries and treat eye conditions as well as do your general glasses/contact stuff. Oh and in his spare time he wrote a freakin book (fiction)! That's pretty cool!

My experience with Dr. Pandit and his staff was extremely disappointing. During my first visit, I…read morecame prepared with my blood results from my PCP, which I had already emailed to his office prior to the appointment. When Dr. Pandit came in, he asked where my thyroid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results were - which made it clear that neither he nor his staff had thoroughly reviewed my labs. My thyroid results were clearly included in what I sent. Despite that, I proceeded with the visit. Later that same week, I called his staff to follow up and asked them to review my blood work again. They told me they would submit a request to my PCP to get all my results, even though I had already provided them. When I checked in the following week, they said they still hadn't heard back from my PCP. By that point, I had already received my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results and wanted to send those over as well. I repeatedly asked the staff to review my original blood work because my thyroid results were already there, but they kept brushing me off. After several calls, they finally reviewed it and admitted that my thyroid results were indeed included. I then asked them to confirm whether the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results I was about to submit were the correct ones Dr. Pandit needed to review before my next visit -- because he had specifically mentioned that he needed to see those results before proceeding. Instead of helping, two different nursing members raised their voices at me, saying they didn't know because the doctor wasn't in. I politely asked if they could confirm with him later and get back to me, but they both said the doctor "didn't have time for that" and that I would just have to wait until my next visit. I explained that I wanted to be proactive and make sure I had all the necessary labs ready ahead of time, but they dismissed me again, saying the doctor would "probably be fine with it." When I asked if they could review the doctor's notes, they said they didn't have access to them but somehow insisted the doctor already had everything he requested - which felt dismissive, confusing, and inconsistent. The staff's tone and attitude made it clear that my health concerns were not a priority to them. If this is how the staff behaves toward patients, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes with the Doctor. After reading other reviews, it now makes sense why many people have shared similar frustrations - and it's hard not to believe that this office may be buying positive reviews for marketing purposes. My health is my top priority, but it was evident that it isn't theirs. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor or staff who truly care, communicate clearly, or take the time to review patient information properly.
