We had such a fun time for my besties bachelorette. It was a fun experience. We rented the whole bike for our party The down side of it, I am a bigger girl and I feel like with all the money we paid, they should at least have bigger seat options to switch the bike seat to. We paid $45 each and there was 12 of us. When we pulled up to the bars, we still had to pay for the drinks we drink inside there too. That is a total of $540 we all paid just for the bike itself. Not even including the tip. We pay too much to not have bigger seat options to switch the small seat out to be better accommodating for women who have more junk in the trunk and want to pedal. & I work out and bike regularly but this seat was so small. We are on the bike for over an hour, I was sore for a few days after. So if you're a bigger girl, or your whole crew is bigger, this might be more torture than fun. Very fun experience! This was my groups first experience on a party bike and it was so much fun. Our driver Angelo was amazing! I would highly recommend him. All the bars we stopped at were fun and had good deals! You can find them on their website. The one thing that was very weird was the building you go to for check in. It's not labeled. In a very run down warehouse type place. Bathroom was disgusting. They said they are moving in a month and I hope that location is better. HORRIBLE EXPERINCE, Honestly the pedal biking experience was the WORST idea that we had while visiting Dallas. We purchased the entire bike so our party of 11 had the bike to our group only. Our driver Emily at first was nice but turned out to extremely rude and treat our group horrible. Our friend FELL OFF the bike, yes FELL OFF while in motion. We know the seat belt fell off somewhere between the time we took off and the last two bars because the first picture we took showed him with his seat belt buckled. After the second bar he hopped on the bike but there wasn't a seat belt buckle, he didn't realize it or say anything. Then when Emily made a U-Turn he fell off and she acted like it was his fault. Emily was yelling and telling our group she was leaving us off on the street where he fell off. Never have I felt so disrespected. Our bike was OLD, RUSTED, SLOW and NOT SAFE! One the best experiences I've ever had! When my friend suggested doing this as a group activity for my birthday, I have to admit I was hesitant at first. We did it anyways and I can promise you we would have regretted it if we didn't. Our captain Danielle was so incredibly kind, nice and helpful. The three bars we stopped at were so much fun and I really like how everything was already kind of planned out for us. The last stop at Federales, from the food to cocktails, was absolutely transformative. My only concern happened at the beginning of our ride - a very agitated homeless man jumped on our bike. This was such a fun experience! I went on this party bike with a group of friends for a birthday. Joe was our driver he was great!! You can bring wine or beer but you cannot bring any hard liquor. You also have to make sure you do not bring any glass. They provide ice and a cooler which is great! You can play your own music by connecting your phone. We stopped at 3 different bars for around 20min each. The remainder of the time we were roaming around deep ellum while drinking on the bike. Everyone was peddling but there are a few seats on the bike where you don't have to pedal. It was pretty hot the day we went but it didn't bother us much because we were having a great time. Living in Deep Ellum and following the neighborhood crime page; I can see how the buzz bike is not a neighborhood favorite. I can say that thirteen of us showed up to the bike location off of Main Street with our cans of beer, plastic bottles of wine and ice for the cooler. We got the rules and our drinks and motored through downtown. We had folks giving us the side eye. We had others singing along or at least taking photos of us! We stopped at two local bars and behaved as well as we usually do. Left our drinks on the bus. Bought drinks at said establishments and tipped hopefully everyone well. This was the most fun I've had in a long long time! John our driver was awesome. We got to pick our tunes and he helped with photo ops. Honestly, this was way more fun than I thought it would be! For those of you who like to get daylit, you'll love this. For those of you who are like me and skew on the older soul side, it's still going to be a blast. John was our driver/navigator, and he was awesome. We were able to DJ our music, we stopped for bathroom breaks and at various bars down in Deep Ellum, and we even biked our way into downtown for a bit. John is super friendly, and we were waving and honking to people on the road. It's always going to be a little weird having people stare at you, but it's such good fun, and I'm glad this has come to Dallas! The first time I saw something like this was in Amsterdam, and I have been rabidly searching for something like this for ages, and was pleasantly surprised this place far exceeded my expectations. Haven't been on Buzz Bike so I can't give you a comparison, but this is a small place that literally JUST got started, so it's still sort of a "hole-in-the-wall gem." The storefront honestly can't even really be called that - it's an old abandoned warehouse type of area, and they have one bike in the lot area and nothing actually inside the building except a table. As straight hipster as you can get :) It just adds to the charm and chill vibe of the place. You're not allowed to bring any glass or liquor, so just wine/beer in boxes/cans. There are 10 pedaling seats (although 2 are over the wheel, so not really pedaling) and roughly 4 non-pedaling seats in the back. You can bring your own coolers to put in the middle of the bus, and everyone has to sign a waiver. They also bring you to really neat places, and if you're not too familiar with the bars in the Deep Ellum area, they give great recommendations and are willing to stop at pretty much anywhere. Tl;dr - take a chance on this place, it's a gem. read more
