From management to on-site cleaners, they have been excellent. It has been my experience in utilizing a couple of different cleaning services that having the same crew servicing your home is often more beneficial in achieving consistency. Additionally, they are good about the fact that we are a "no shoes" indoors household so they comply by wearing the blue bootie shoe covers we provide. There truly is a lot to love about Betty Miller Residential Services.

Beware of Betty Miller Residential Services! They will immediately schedule first-time clients for an initial cleaning, which will cost ~$80 more than the follow-up cleanings. Then, once the client contacts them for the next weekly, biweekly, or monthly cleaning, they state they are booked through the end of the year and are not scheduling for 2027 yet. I tested their integrity by having other friends call them the same day and within 1 hour from my phone call to schedule their initial cleaning, and the company suddenly had ample availability. My friends tried to schedule follow-up cleanings, but the company declined to schedule them until after the initial cleaning was completed. This company is only interested in committing to initial cleaning services because they charge $80 plus more for the first cleaning than they state they will charge for the follow-up cleanings. Then, after the initial cleaning is paid, they will suddenly not have any availability to conduct follow-up cleanings at the lower price quoted by them. They lack integrity, so I warn future clients to be very cautious!

However I have had a few hiccups over the past few years since I've used their service. Nothing I couldn't get over and that they didn't try their best to correct. I'm pretty easy going and understand stuff happens. What is leading me to write this review today is how their management handled my particular situation as a loyal patron of a few years. I have had a biweekly cleaning scheduled consistently for the past 6 months. Haven't asked for much change and always get my two cleanings a month - same day, same time. I asked for an EXTRA cleaning this month, so I wanted them to come MORE. The way they entered into their scheduling system deleted my current scheduled time. So to my surprise after I woke up early and spent an hour prepping them to show up at 8 AM, no one came. I called and asked what was going on and I had to follow up twice. They said I wasn't on the schedule until the 29th! I told them I needed it done today and they could not find a way to make that happen for me after I have probably spent close to $10k with the over the past couple years. I have 3 small children so it's not the most convenient to have services like this canceled and then rescheduled. Plus I stripped all my beds and picked up everything for them so they could do a deep clean, all for nothing. Instead of offering any resolution other than "we are sorry, we don't know why this happened", I was pretty disappointed to say the least. Needless to say I will be providing my business elsewhere.

Not recommended…read more Cleaners said it'll take them total four hours to do regular cleaning (this is after they did a first cleaning so they already had a clear idea of the workload and time needed). And then owner wants to charge $265 for monthly cleaning. So their hourly rate is $265/4 =$66.25. Way overpriced compared to market prevailing rate. And I don't think the charge is in alignment with the service provided. There were no trash bags in place. Rugs were left unwashed and not put back in place, etc. Ironically they charge $55 per hour for first cleaning, which means reoccurring cleaning their rate is higher. Yes these days it's tough for small businesses to survive. But that doesn't mean customers got money rained on their head. Update: the owner explained that the rate is based on total sqft. This is nonsense! We have four bedrooms but two were not cleaned. Plus we always have regular cleaning services and it always takes them four hours or about $200 to clean it. And this business owner decides to charge us $265 just because we live in a house (and remember we only need 2/4 bedrooms to be cleaned) and not based on the actual cleaning area and total time needed? We were told by the cleaners that our house is well-maintained and they didn't have to scrub anything so total hours spent will be 4 hours. Owner is saying that although it only takes four hours but you need to pay $265. Does not make sense. Plus I know the SAME technicians when they clean my friend's townhome, they spend the SAME amount of time four hours in total and they charge less. Just because we live in a house not a townhome, it doesn't mean we have to pay more for the same cost incurred to the owner. It's not like our house is a rabbit hole or dirty anything. The technicians clearly said the place is well maintained and they didn't have to spend any extra effort. Then why do I have to pay much more at the hourly rate close to $70 to have the same cleaning service and hours? WHY? This is outrageous. I'll never do business with a service provider whose pricing is not transparent. Last time I used them for deep cleaning two years ago before tenants moved in, the tenants complained the cleaning was not thorough at all and requested for a refund. I contacted the owner right after the complaint, sent her the pics and she did not accept the request for a refund or offer re-cleaning. Nonetheless, I gave them another try which is totally idiotic on my side. I chose to not post a bad review after the first disappointing experience because I don't want to be harsh on small businesses. However this time the experience is even worse and even disrespectful. Who on the earth can explain to me why I have to pay more for the same service and hours? Why my own lifestyle (living in a house instead of a townhome) has anything to do with your operating costs while you use the same people, same hours and same cleaning equipment? Then why do I have to pay more? Explain to me. Choose wisely at your own risk. Honesty in business is underrated.

This tells a lot about her mental health than the people that she is responding to. After experiencing her services I do believe the negative ones, including the review that she was caught eating someone's refrigerator content in the security camera. Cameras don't lie. I hired her for move in / move out deep cleaning. The house was empty and there was no trash. I needed her to actually clean, like vacuum and wipe surfaces. She showed up by herself, with her husband driving her and sitting in the car, light equipment, and texted me 1 hour later that she is all done. I came back and none of the cleaning I requested was done. I wipe surfaces and it shows a lot of dust which is exactly what I told her to clean. It was getting dark and she was getting aggressive demanding money. I sent her the money to make her go away and I was going to call the police if she did not. Later, she said she won't actually come back to clean the house and make it right, because I already paid her; She gloated about this, saying that I can't do anything about it because I paid her already. Her attitude was very entitled and her tone was that she did me a favor. Her pricing was higher than a 6 person crew that came to clean a house twice the size, that showed up with a lot of supplies, and spent 7 hours deep cleaning. I made the mistake of ignoring the bad reviews. Hope you don't.
