I had looked into SMP for a really long time, but couldn't come around to the thought of the pain, and potential outcome after 2+ years with the heavy up front cost. So when I came across Jisu/Jennifer on social media for scalp painting, I checked her work across all platforms. There is an obvious mix of reviews, but I personally had an overall positive experience. She was friendly, professional, and did not make me feel embarassed nor uncomfortable. While the website isn't clear with the price, she made it clear when I inquired about the cost of service. I did ask if she will consider offering weekend services in the future since I did not see any availabilities on her website. Fortunately, she did have some availabilities at that time. I did not request nor expected accommodations, and have no issues if she had told me she did not offer weekends. I am a local native but currently working out of town, so initial treatment + touch up within 2 weeks is not possible without taking days off work. And since I got scalp painting for my full head, I have to factor that cost in addition to my travel and time. The pain for someone who has absolute zero pain tolerance - 4/10 during the first session with numbing cream, and 6 to 8/10 during the second session (touch-up) with numbing cream. Some parts were not as numb or had faded by the time she got to that section. The pictures are taken 18 days after the second session (touch-up)/ 32 days after the initial session. One immediately after wash (wet), other is dry and brushed. I enjoyed not having to spray/powder in every day the last 32 days, but from the looks of it - I honestly don't think it will last past 2-3 months for me since it has already significantly faded. I followed the pre and aftercare exactly as instructed, and continued to only use gentle shampoos. Which makes me sad because I had a great experience and would have returned every 1-2 years. I was hopeful that it would last closer to a year or at least more than 6 months for the cost. It's not Jennifer's fault since the results can vary per person. I now know how long my scalp can retain the ink for future reference.
