Veronika was AWESOME. My eyes are very sensitive and she made sure to be gentle. I wasn't sure lifting/tinting my lashes would do much (stubborn lashes) and I was shocked how much darker and fuller ... with no mascara!! LONG time client (close to 20 years) and I won't be back. Damone is amazing at what he does as long as he's focusing and in a decent mood. One time last year he texted throughout my entire appointment, burned me with wax and waxed off half of one of my brows. Since he has always made my brows look perfect, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a bad day. At my most recent visit, he was distracted due to getting ready to do a photo shoot and again WAXED OFF HALF OF ONE OF MY BROWS. I was a first time client here. I came in on a Saturday. My appt was for 9:45am with Kristina. I paid for street parking and arrived 8 minutes early. I checked in with the receptionist who told me Kristina would be ready in 10 minutes. A few moments later another woman walks in and is immediately taken back to the chair with Kristina! It is now 9:45am and it appears I was just skipped over and some other woman took my appointment?!? I waited patiently but eventually grew a little irritated. 15 minutes go by and it's now time for me to worry about my parking meter. I ask the receptionist when she thinks Kristina will be done and she says "Well she just started on that girl so ughh maybe add like 40 minutes to your meter?!" Wow... in a beverly hills high end salon the receptionist doesn't speak proper english?!? AND they don't offer to cover the additional meter cost like most high end beverly hills salons do!? Very unprofessional. I should have walked out and found a new salon but I wanted to stay optimistic so I just paid my meter and returned to the salon. Another 5 minutes goes by and Kristina finally asks me back to her chair. I asked if that woman that just left was a friend of hers and she said "Yes." I made a joke about it and we smiled but I was honestly curtailing inside. She tweezed and waxed away and then taught me how to add in shadow correctly, which was cool, but at the very end I was not please with my brows. The arch was now too close to the middle of my eye and she didn't shadow my right brow enough so it looked uneven to my left. She also didn't blend the "peek a boo" brightener enough so you could tell I had makeup on... Not very ideal when you're paying big bucks to get your eyebrows done?! Despite all that I decided to buy Damone's brow kit which was $150. I was excited about it BUT they were out of my color in the brow pencil!!!! ... and they only had 5 options...?!? How could you be out?!? I was very disappointed and had to pick a different color or not get a brow pencil in my kit at all so I chose the color they recommended as my back up. I tried it on my hand once I got to the car and it doesn't match my skin tone! I needed latte (light brown) and they gave me ginger (red) and said it was close enough to my color... but I am not pleased with how it looks on my skin at all and will not be using it on my brows! So I called them back immediately to add my name to the "wait list" for my color in the brow pencil and they said they are not sure when it will be in stock "but mostly sometime this quarter" HAHA Wow... Also, when I was checking out they gave me my kit and I noticed it was completely upside down from the logo packaging... I guess they don't pay much attention to detail?! Not impressed again.... Despite my disappointments I still tipped Kristina but as I went to get my receipt all the payment totals weren't printed... it seems the typing was too far to the right so all the totals were cut off. The receptionist handed it to me and assumed that would be okay. Really? Are you serious?! I politely asked her to reprint it so I had the totals for my tax records. Overall, I'm just taken back by how unprofessional everyone in this salon was! I am definitely going back to get the correct brow pencil that I paid for but other than that I will take my business elsewhere and find another high end brow salon to go to! Make up your own mind about this salon but this was my experience.... NOT GOOD! I left upset and unhappy. read more

I had been growing my eyebrows out for over 6 months and I was so nervous about anyone messing them up again, but Lashelle immediately made me feel at ease with his warm spirit and genuine care. I usually go to Damone, but I waited until the last minute to book an appointment and Damone was not available. I used Yelp and 99% of the reviews for Lashelle were lit! Needless to say, I immediately made an appointment and Huunnnnttttyyyyy, let me tell you, Lashelle did not disappoint. His level of detail to even the smallest, finest hair on my brows and face impressed me. He gave me suggestions on how to fill in my brows and gave me a much needed eye brow tint. He followed my natural brow line and I look so much for put together. His spirit was phenomenal and we talked almost like we knew each other for years. He shared with me how important his clients are to him and I could definitely feel that energy! My brows are legit again and I have an eyebrow artist that is phenomenal on the inside and out. 2 stars because nothing was permanently screwed up, but a little chunk was taken out of the top of my left eyebrow, and one was much thinner than the other. When I pointed it out to the tech, who seemed in a rush, she said it was because she hadn't filled it in as much as the other side. A little dab of makeup later, and I was reasonably satisfied. My eyebrows were slightly thinner than I like, and I'd asked for fuller brows, but the trimming was precise. And since I suck at trimming my own brows, I was satisfied. Washing my face later was another story. My sister asked what happened to my brows, and pointed out the missing chunk and thinner brow I'd been convinced was my imagination. Also the lash lift lasted a week, max. For $200, I should have gone back to see if they would fix things, but the only solution I could see was to take a chunk out and thin out the other brow to even things out. Oh well, expensive lesson learned. Going back to try my luck at Sublime Eyes or Brows By Victoria. I guess any brow place is a gamble. I have to note, Damone didn't do my brows - it was a woman in her mid 20s to early 30s with brown hair and eyes. read more

She is definitely an expert in her craft! I'm absolutely in love with my eyelashes, they look full & natural, just the way I wanted. I purchased a GiltCity coupon for this salon to get a lash lift and tint. The person at the front desk was very friendly. The woman who performed the services, however, was not. She didn't even tell me her name or explain anything about what she was going to do. She did ask me if it was my first time, and when I said yes, she didn't tell me anything about the process. She started with the lift and said she would let it sit for 10 minutes, however she didn't come back for 20 minutes. The lash tint was fine, but the lift made my lashes look uneven and unnatural. The curl on the left eye was uneven so it looks like I don't have lashes on a part of my lid because they don't curl up with the rest of them. If I wanted to go out there again, I would ask them to redo it, but I am just going to wait it out. I won't return to this place. I think I get a better result just by gently curling the lashes on my own. I also don't think the service was very good as the practitioner who did the work didn't seem interested in being there or talking to me. read more

Kristina, has been the best brow experience I've had. She keeps my eyebrows in beautiful shape. Not to mention the experience feels more like a massage then having hair pulled off of your face. She is always so kind and her experience is none comparable. After waxing your eyebrows she takes time to conceal the redness, shapes them for your and your ready to go about the rest of your day! Very disappointed that I wasted my time on this place. My timing was very tight (as I informed the unfriendly receptionist when I made the appointment), and after waiting 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to have started, I left when I learned (after questioning the receptionist twice) that I would have to wait another 5 to 10 minutes. What added insult to injury was that I had to give a credit card to reserve my appointment with Damone (apparently to make sure I showed up on time), yet my time was not treated with the same respect. There are plenty of excellent salons and spas in LA that value a customer's time; I will give my business to those. read more
