Always nice to be back in the room:) You can always count on this location to bump into other acting friends still living the dream. One of the popular spots still open and keeping us in the room. So nice to not always have to tape, and it's great being able to really MOVE in the space (lots of these commercials have a physical need. I've had to faux-shoot a basketball and show my dribbling skills twice this year at Dan Bell. Definitely couldn't do that in my living room). There are so many advantages to a space like this, and I appreciate the value I've gotten here. My only gripe with the location is parking. It can really be tough sometimes, especially when that side street is closed off, but we make it work. The space is always clean, bathrooms are always clean, there's a water fountain (omg, the amount of offices that don't provide water for people who need their VOICES to audition is insane), and always a casting associate at a desk checking people in. There's always a nice flow, and I've never been waiting in a queue for too long. Hoping this place is around for decades to come! read more

This is a casting agency. My son has had multiple live auditions here. Always a great experience. It is huge and clean. Can't wait for him to book something as that would make the experience even better. He has come close a few times but didn't get it. We will look forward to our next opportunity. Hello, I am a working Actor, primarily in commercials, who visits many different casting offices and interacts with many Casting Directors, Session Runners, and Camera Operators on any given day or week. I love Dan Bells' new location in Glendale. Its huge! Its got decorative, cool Advertising art on the walls and feels like a great space to be creative in. While he has a huge creative team, I tend to interact with the following the most. Dan Bell is a lot of fun to work with and is in the room most of the time helping the actors deliver a great performance. If he is not there, he is usually greeting Actors in the room and helping them understand what it is they are are actually demonstrating. Mikayla Gluskin is Dan Bells' Session Runner and she rocks. She is always filled with great information about the spot they are casting like the Production specs, the director, the ad agency. She also is up to date about what it is they are capturing in the room. It also helps that she is very nice and approachable. Benjamin is usually the Camera op. and he is ALSO very helpful with all of the Actors. Being an Actor himself lends his experience to each audition(er). He is very patient even when the audition of the day calls for many cuts or one long take. He is very encouraging and always pulls a great performance out of each candidate. I have booked several jobs from this office and look forward to appearing and always giving my best when I am invited to Audition. Congrats on the New Space!!! Took my 6 year old daughter to Dan Bell today for an audition (her very first one). They were so welcoming and calming with both her and I. I really like the modern vintage decor in side I would give it 5 stars they also have kid tables with paper and crayons which is nice, and there is plenty of space,how ever my child waited about 45 mins to be called and the call back was a little over a hour wait. read more
