I was very nervous since this was my first time but the whole procedure was thoroughly explained by the doctor and the assistant and they made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Park was super sweet and checked up on my every 20min while I had the whitening solution on my teeth to make sure I was doing okay. Since my teeth are more sensitive than normal, I had the whitening solution put on top twice every 20min and the bottom just once (normally they put it 3 times every 20min for max result). Overall, my teeth shade had gotten whiter by 1 shade and I'm so happy I visited this office!

The office was under new ownership and I couldn't seem to get the same dentist twice in a row and each dentist had different opinion. The cost escalated with each opinion too. I was completely frustrated and not sure what to do. So, I made the appointment with Dr Moss and was very nervous about seeing a new dentist. I was immediately put at ease by him and his staff. He did a thorough examination, gave me a preliminary explanation of the work I needed to do and was invited back for another appointment to go over everything in detail. When I returned, I was blown away. First, by the technology that he uses and secondly by how much thought and time he put into my needs before I had even given him a penny. I'm not going to lie, I was also blown away by the cost, but his staff worked out a payment plan for me and I have never been happier about my decision to have him do the work. My husband and kids are constantly telling me how beautiful my smile is again, and they are right! Dr Moss is an award winning general and cosmetic dentist. He is also very kind, gentle, detailed, and very knowledgeable. His assistants are also knowledgeable and engaging, kind, funny, and always concerned for my comfort. When I was but a lowly new grad, I had to redo all of my dental work when one of my teeth cracked. I was barely 22, with historically very poor dental work (parents wanted to ONLY use these very old school Chinese dentists) and I definitely paid the price. In a rage I went on a hunt for a new dentist when my then-boyfriend recommended Dr. Dudley to me. Fast forward 7+ crowns and one implant, and you would NEVER KNOW I needed to have all that work done. He even rejected a crown once because he didn't think the color was a perfect match - despite the fact it was well in the BACK of my teeth. He's that much of a perfectionist. It's been roughly 5+ years and all my crowns are still in place (my current bougie dentist comments every time, "Wow these are beautiful crowns. Wow. Just beautiful" and I've not needed any new dental work since, not even a cavity. Dr.Dudley is the best dentist in the entire world. I never knew dentists could be like him- so gentle, understanding and compassionate. He really is the best and completely changed my life. My teeth look horrible, uneven and larger than the original (bugs bunny looking) color does not match my other teeth. I had two other dentist look at his work and both said it was sloppy and cheap materials. I need to pay (again) out of my pocket in order to have them fixed. Also, The office is filthy! Dr Bishay worked on a patient, called me in and did not clean up after the other patient. I asked them to clean the chair as their was blood and tooth dust everywhere. Dr Bishay laughed and I then found my own cleaning rag and cleaned up before sitting down. I should have just left, but I started the process the week before and crowns were ordered. He has lawsuits and hidden reviews, please do your research. I wish i would have researched deeper prior to going to this dentist.

I had a routine cleaning and some additional dental work done recently. But my comments on this review apply ONLY in regards to routine dental cleaning and Xrays fees $$$ portion only. I was Billed $312.00 for a routine cleaning. This comprised of CLEANING ($97.00) EVALUATION ($56.00) and XRAY's ($159.00). Personally i find $300.00 for just basic routine cleaning, examination & Xrays a bit excessive in this area. I questioned the office about the fees & they stated this is what they bill to insurance companies. As Far as Dr. Alan Johnson he is a very nice person and a excellent dentist. I have no negative views whatsoever about his dental expertise from past experiences. I appreciate his care & kindness for all the years he has been my dentist. Personally, though i am not looking for cheap bargain basement dental care but $300 dental cleaning & examination i find this excessive. But you are a better person to decide what suites best for you. I can not justify semi annual routine dental cleaning at $300.00 each time. My purpose to write this review it's not about STAR rating but to share with consumers the playing field with this dental office. I have known Dr. Johnson for many years, referred friends to him and had nothing but good results…read more He is a brilliant and gifted dentist (in his spare time, he has built his own sailboat out of a kit and is just one of those rare people who is good with his hands and enjoys building things). What I wanted to say here is what an honest professional he is. I went to another dentist who recommended 2 crowns but told me sometimes they don't work and might have to come back for a root canal. He also said I grind my teeth and recommended a $500 mouth guard to wear at night. Dr. Johnson listened to my history and said based on the pain I was having and sensitivity in the nerve, he recommended I see an endodontist for a possible root canal on the one tooth. The other one he said was fine. He had me do some bite tests and said I definitely "clench" my teeth but do not grind and did not need a $500 mouth guard. Dr. Fife, the endodontist did 3D Xrays and said the crack was so large that although he could do a root canal and Dr. Johnson could do the crown, in a year or two I would be back with an infection and we would be back where we started and I would need an extraction and implant. So, instead of doing the root canal that would have made him more money, he referred me back to Dr. Johnson, who referred me to Dr. Adam Clark, an oral surgeon who did the extraction today and is a 5 star oral surgeon in his own right! It is so rare these days to find a professional who will give you high quality professional treatment and give you the advice that is best for you - not him! I highly recommend Dr. Alan Johnson as a great and gifted dentist who really looks out for the best interests of his patients.
