The doctor was very good at explaining things, and was able to show any issues from the x rays on a big screen you could see from the chair. This place is more modern than my previous dentist who took all the X-rays on film and then developed them. The digital x-rays are normally less radiation than the film which is a definite plus. The office was very clean and bright inside. Reception and the assistants all seemed nice and did their best to make you feel comfortable. read more

I have been taking my dad and mom to Dr. Steven Go dental office for couple of years now. But finally able to sit down and write a review. Michele is secretary/front office person always went above and beyond to fit my parents/my busy schedule in and follow up with unanswered medical questions. Dr Steven's skill is without a doubt top notch. My dad recently had his few remaining bottom teeth extracted as they are no longer good and hes in his 70s, still young but need help with new denture. Dr. Steven went above and beyond for multiple session from mouth moulding to refitting/relining to ensure my dad denture fits almost perfect to his mouth muscle and alleviate any ill-fit pains. As you see in the latest smile pix attached, he's much happy man and able to eat/chew and have much cleaner oral hygiene. Since my first visit a month ago, I've now had two procedures to address some cavities. Each time I come, it's like meeting up with old friends. Dr. Go is friendly and easy going. Right now I'm still numb from todays procedure but it went off smoothly and he addressed these cavities between my front teeth that have concerned me for the past decade. Not fun smiling when it looks like you got a piece of black pepper stuck there and I didn't want to have a silver filling there either! Nope todays fillings are teeth colored. UPDATE after Dr. Go's response : I just saw Dr. Go's reply and my response is... You DID NOT tell me any of this detail you are now giving. You TOLD ME THE WORDS: she has SIX cavities. I said, "WHAT?! SIX CAVITIES?" You said "YES" and told me we needed to start scheduling her to get them taken care of. Then you walked away. Not another word about just sealant or anything preventative. Telling me that this is two different viewpoints from two different dentists is laughable. Maybe if it were one cavity. But SIX?? What about my sister who had THREE cavities with you and none with her the dentist she changed to? Maybe you should tell your patients...This is NOT necessary but here are your options because I am such a "conservative" dentist (meaning....in this case, a dentist who likes to charge for unnecessary work). NO THANK YOU. Your excuse is weak and you lied. We will never be back. Also, if you were so concerned about your patient, why not reply to the letter I sent you personally instead of just trying to make excuses and CYA on the reviews only? You never replied to my letter in any way. You are ONLY replying here because you are worried about losing business. You are NOT worried about me or my daughter. Original I would give negative stars if I could. Dr. Vasco (retired who sold Dr. Go the practice) would be so sad to know Dr. Go lies to patients to make money off of work they don't need done. First my sister was told she has three cavities. After a second opinion, her new dentist told her she had none (after thorough new patient exam). Then I took my daughter out of convenience since I was going for a cleaning. She normally had been going to pediatric dentist and never had a cavity in her 15 years. She goes every 6-8 months for cleaning. All of a sudden, first visit with Dr. Go, he tells HER (not me until we were paying) that she has SIX cavities. I was in shock and she was in tears, yet he stood there lying to us telling us we should break it up into a couple appts but get them all taken care of soon. It was after this time I heard what happened with my sister so I went back to her pediatric dentist. I didn't tell him a thing. I wanted to see what his exam would show. She was do for xrays, so they took them and he did a thorough exam. He told me her teeth looked great! Not one cavity. not even close as he said her teeth looked great. How many other patients do you think he is lying to, making up services that must be done, knowing the patients trust him. He is horrible to do this to people. He not only would have taken all this money from me (we have to pay cash because no insurance), but he would perform unnecessary work on a 15 year old for money??? This is a crime. I am reporting him to the dental board in hopes of helping others. If you do see him...do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. I guess he is anxious to pay off the expense from buying the practice. Dentists or doctors who lie and would perform unnecessary work should not be allowed to practice. I should mention...he is VERY nice. And if you did need work done, he does a good job....BUT....if you cannot be certain you actually need what he tells you you need, then that makes him untrustworthy and who cares how nice he is. Michelle is the bright spot in the office but she was with Dr. Vasco (who was ethical) for years and is professional. read more

He is patient and can sense when you're uncomfortable or nervous and is very calming and makes sure to check in on you throughout. He's a great, gentle dentist and honest in what you need done. I just went in to Dr. Go's to replace a crown and get rid of some cavities, and by far Dr. Go has been the best dentist I've had in my life. Wow, what a positive and great experience. Who can say that about going to a dentist? From schedule with Michelle, to interacting with Katie, and having work performed by Dr. Go, everything went smoothing and "painless". I was originally referred to another specialist for a new bridge or implant. I found Dr. Go and decided to go in for a consult. All the other specialist were trying to drive my decision to getting an implant but Dr. Go was patient and detailed. If I could give more stars I would. I love this dental office from the lady up front to the dental assistant to the dentist himself. I have huge anxiety with going to the dentist. Who likes being drilled in the mouth (*note to self: work on your phrasing*) but this entire office put me at ease. The staff relaxed me when I entered the office and Dr. Vasco himself is a very calming presence. He took the time to tell me what was wrong with my grill and what he wanted to do. You can tell that his entire team have been working together for a while because they're just in sync. The dental assistant even noticed that my earphone was getting loose and adjusted it for me when I was listening to music to drown out the noises during my procedure. First of all I will highly recommend Dr Vasco. He has been my dentist for over 15 years. I moved out of the area about 5 years ago but still make the drive back to see my favorite dentist. Dr Vasco is a funny and quirky dentist. I mean this in a good way. He has a way for easing you with humor as he drills your molars. The assistants have all been a pleasure to deal with over the years. Special shout out to Michelle at the front desk. She handles all the insurance and paper work too, the fun stuff. I feel like she's fighting for me with the insurance companies. For me it more like dealing with family more than a business transaction at Dr Vasco's. But my family plays hard but it always end with a lot of laughs. There are a lot of good and bad dentist out there. I know I've used others in the past.
