I thought these 5-star reviewers must have been lying about their ratings. They aren't. Dan is extremely professional and clearly, everyone is recommending him as I couldn't get a Saturday slot for two months but his work was totally worth the wait. He sent me a quote over via text and also gave me a cash deal. He was literally a third of the cost an auto repair shop was asking for. If anyone dropped, he would ask if I was available and the day of kept in touch as a job went longer than expected. I expected the job to take about three hours and it took him two. There are few businesses that truly deserve the five-star rating, for their service and professionalism. This is one of them. I texted my pictures for a bumper scrape (sigh...the danger of K-12 school parking lots) on Saturday, and got in touch by phone on Monday morning. Monday afternoon, their mobile unit arrived at my garage, and in about two hours the bumper on my car was sanded, primed, painted, blended, clear coated, and left looking absolutely pristine, with the color matching the existing one perfectly. Stop looking and just call this guy. Dan came highly recommended to me by my friend when some jerk completely clawed my back bumper and didn't leave a note. He came and worked on my car and it is as good as new again at half the cost of my insurance deductible. I would definitely call him again in a heartbeat. Here are some pros and cons: Cons: --this guys is BOOKED. Just goes to show how popular he is. Don't expect next day turn around or even next week. Plan ahead and just call him. --because he paints/restores outdoors, outdoor dust will get on the paint sometimes and leave little tiny tick marks. (see pros for what happened) --if you live in an Irvine Company apartment complex, you will have to find another place where you can park your car and he can work on it because Irvine Company complexes don't allow painting in driveways/parking spots (I don't so this was not a problem for me but I read this on his info sheet he sends to customers with the estimate and I can see how it will be inconvenient for some). Not his fault....Irvine Company's. Pros: --he is professional, courteous, and friendly --he comes to work wherever you are --quick on communication --less expensive than auto body shops --he KNOWS his stuff and does a great job --when a little dust left 2 tiny "rings" in my paint, he came back another day and buffed/polished them out at no extra charge but out of sheer customer service (this may not work on some paint jobs but it worked fine on my car) --just overall great! read more

So I hate going to body shops (leaving my car there for days/weeks) and was delaying to get some minor damage on my car fixed, so I started perusing Yelp to see if there was another solution.
