And they were all amazing! When tea biscuits were posted a few days ago, I knew I needed to order some. I ordered a 1/4 pound of cardamom flavored tea biscuits that have almonds and pistachios on top and 1/4 pound of the almond pistachio rose flavored tea biscuits. Both are wonderfully buttery and packed full of flavor! The cardamom ones are nutty, slightly sweet, and floral -- cardamom is such an interesting spice... it gives these biscuit unique notes and a nice complexity of flavor. The pistachio rose has such depth in flavors - I just love it! Seemed to have a hint of citrus flavor (perhaps from the rose) and had a wonderful crunch to it... chocked full of pistachios too! I will definitely be ordering more again soon! I was surprised to receive two bonus cupcakes as well (thanks again, Cupnest)! Almond cupcakes with mango cream cheese filling topped with mango buttercream and crusted pistachios. Wow!! I have never had the pleasure of having mango buttercream before and now I'm hooked. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. I can tell you that Jenn's cupcakes are one of the best cupcakes I have eaten! They are full of flavor, moist and have a delicate, fluffy buttercream frosting.
