It's a little unnerving to leave the keys in the car parked so close to the sidewalk and street in town as the sign directs. But care is quick, complete, affordable, oil is synth blend and most importantly to me, they don't push upsale services at inflated prices by staff that may or may not be qualified to do them. A very honest and sincere oil change experience, happy to bring my cars here when I just need fresh oil and a new filter.

When they did the analysis of what happened, they said it was due to lack of oil changes and sludge in the engine. Not trusting them, I then called my local mechanic. He said he has worked on tons of engines from Rapid Lube as while they keep track of the car, they often alternate between just changing the filter and changing the oil..ie you're going for an oil change and they don't actually change the oil. In addition they use drum oil. My mechanic said he know multiple people that work there. If you look up online the average time for an actual proper oil change, the time quoted is 20 to 30 minutes. There are constant times I've been out of Rapid Lube in less than 10 minutes. It's too good to be true. Be warned. It is dishonest, potentially incredibly damaging to your car and frankly dangerous and I'm never going back. Thank god my wife wasn't on the highway going 70 mph when the engine started smoking.
