Lauren the owner only pays attention to the kids whose families have been with her for years . Those are the kids that she develops and works with . She allows bullying at the studio and on the team and never addresses it directly unless it starts to impact her bottom line . She humiliates the kids on the team if they miss a step in front of peers and makes it seem they were disrespectful when they respond . You pay a large amount of money for your kids to be on her competition team for your child not to be developed or trained properly. I know this now because we have moved to another competitive team and now I see what real development is . Beware of this studio !

The worst is that there is no place to sit, which makes it difficult to see the dance performance. The benches are not accessible because parents block space by placing their children's shoes and backpacks on the benches which makes impossible to find a place to sit. (Shoes on a bench..... really?) The management could care less about maintaining order, children are allowed to run all over and they often fall down off the ramp located next to the step. The facility is poorly ventilated and panoply are allowed to block the 1 and only floor fan. To cancel you have to observe policy which is not made available for future reference.

Once I left a voicemail which was not returned and twice I spoke with who I assume was a front desk person who both times took my info and assured me someone would reach out either by telephone or email. Again, no response. I gave it one last shot with an email, but same results, no response. This is so disappointing because this dance studio was the only one I could find near home, so I was hoping a little persistence would be worth the extra effort. While the front desk person was always kind it would have been nice to have a response even if it was just to say that they couldn't accommodate me. UPDATE: About two hours after posting this review I received a response from the studio to my earlier email advising that they had seen my review and that the owners were attending to personal matters and they would respond upon their return. Though no apology was offered, I was asked to update my review. If I could get a response just two hours after reviewing this studio, why couldn't I have received that very same response to any of my four previous inquiries? And second, an apology would have gone a long way and had one been offered, I likely would have wanted to work with them despite initially being ghosted, but it felt in poor taste that the studio only cared to respond because they wanted me to change my review. One extra star for that small bit of effort, but wow. I will not be supporting this business.

New equipment and layout in gym I'm super stoked about. Less crowded and less groups of young guys, more serious atmosphere. I'm sure it still gets crowded at times but overall I see a positive change. Please keep it up!
