THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

We street parked nearby and walked over. My boyfriend ordered the Keith Lee Latte, and I ordered Matcha Squared Latte. Both drinks were kept with whole milk and ordered the biggest size for both, as well. Luckily it wasn't busy at all when we arrived and didn't have to wait too long to get our drinks. The drinks were a dark, vibrant green, which is very promising. The quality of the cups and straws are great. I loved the cute little heart shape straws. The drinks tasted excellent. Not too sweet, milky, or bitter. I wish I lived near a La La Land because I want to try more of their drinks!

It was a Wednesday morning with no line in sight so we thought we could quickly get a drink to go. Oh how naive we were. I went straight to the register and ordered an iced lavender latte, one of their signature drinks. They rung me up and told me where to wait for my drink. From there I saw a row of dozens and dozens of receipts for delivery orders, and a cycle of delivery drivers came in to collect these drinks to go. There really must've been dozens of orders ahead of me because it took over 30 mins for me to get my drink. I suppose if you're local you may already know to expect something like this at this popular coffee shop but I had no idea and there was no warning. Folks would go up to ask when their drink would be ready and the employees would exasperatedly go "If you don't see your name on one of these receipts your drink is NOT ready." I do understand their frustration with getting this question so much but they really should let people know when they're ordering, because this was not evident at all. The drink was fine. I think I would have enjoyed a similar drink at a place I didn't have to wait 30 minutes for.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. It probably helps to be patient if they're short‑staffed, but we had no issues at all.

I love that Tout Suite makes several tasty vegan baked goods along with their full selection of regular treats which can be hard to find in Houston (their vegan brookie - brownie/cookie - is my favorite). Outside of baked goods, Tout Suite has a large selection of breakfast items, soups, sandwiches, bowls, and appetizers with several gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. This location has a fairly spacious interior to sit and work or enjoy a bite to eat and is just a block off of the MetroRail red line (Bell Station stop). They also have rotating daily specials and half off of cocktails every day after 5pm for happy hour ($4 espresso martini, yes please!) Ok, sounds great, right? Since I used to frequent their EaDo location quite a bit, I have several gift cards that I have collected over the years. These were purchased online on their website however when I tried to use them at this location, they said that I could not. They have three locations under their brand - Tout Suite (the former EaDo and Trebly) and Sweet, however apparently each has a separate payment system from Square to Toast, etc and they do not overlap. The gentleman behind the counter did offer to make me a complementary beverage for the inconvenience but this was definitely disappointing. I recall specifically that there was not an option to select the location when purchasing the gift cards online.
