They have rooms that are large enough for groups from 2 to 6 people and rooms for 2 to 10 people. The puzzles were tricky, some quite difficult, but a lot of fun to solve. Kristen was our game master and she did a great job. She was full of energy and got us hyped up before we went in. There were items in the room that you could tell people had been a bit rough with, but overall the place was well kept, clean, and fully functional. Also, and importantly, the restroom was clean. We definitely intend to go back and try their other rooms.

We did the zombie apocalypse room which was fun and challenging. My favorite part was the theatrics that were used to start our adventure. I complimented the owner on this before we left, because I've never experienced this escape rooms in the past, and he said they're the only place in the state to incorporate acting with their escape rooms.

Walk-ins welcome too! You'll start with a waiver and a brief review before going into the rules room. It's dark in here and you'll sit on stools. There's a review of what to do and not do and then the story begins! Once you enter the escape room, you'll have 60 minutes to get out! Hints are available if needed, but try to solve yourself first. Be gentle with the props and enjoy the vibrant energy they have created. Accessibility considerations: One step to enter the house, a few other higher curbs. Room effects may cause issues for people with sensory sensitivity, ask before entering. You'll need to be able to hear and read - if low vision/blind or hearing loss/deaf, mention it up front. It cost 20 dollars to get in which is steep but they all cost around that much so you're not going to get a better deal anywhere else. We waited for over an hour to finally go on the haunted trail but there were actors and posters around so you had something to look at. You do get a few scares but nothing too serious. The actors do take their job seriously but may accidentally break character if someone makes a weird comment to them. Overall, not a bad place to go during Halloween.

Prior to this, we have done escape rooms at three other locations. This was hands down our favorite! We chose the Train Ro themed one and between the two of us we solved it with only one hint! Clues are straight forward and there are not a bunch of false rabbit holes to fall down. It is located in the basement, and the above area is used for events, so you may here some sound from above but it did not reduce the quality of the game. You will use a wristband for your locker and for scanning the games to play (it also tells you how much time you have left). Would definitely recommend layers because you WILL work up a sweat. It was a lot of fun and a good variety. My husband's top two games were different from mine. You can play cooperatively with who you are with or versus (and the game is colored blue for co-op and red for vs). Workers there were great at answering questions. Everything was clean. Honestly, had such a blast and wish this was closer so we could go more frequently. Highly recommend.

Older kids can be so difficult to entertain. But Activate was a hit with everyone in my party, from…read morethe 11 year old tween to the 14-year-old teenager to the [redacted]-year-old adults. We all loved the interactive games and had a great time. We literally didn't want our session to end. How it works is that you pay for a session, and then you can pick from several different rooms during that time with different hands-on challenges. You make your way from room to room, completing the challenges and competing against each other. I think there is a scoreboard somewhere to tell you who got the most points, but honestly, who cares? It's fun to just move your body and challenge your mind and body. Before you begin, you're encouraged to put all of your things in a locker, and I definitely recommend putting any sweaters or hoodies in there, as well as phones, if you think you might go HAM. This is definitely a workout! The people who work here are very kind and patient, and explained everything to us along the way. Not participating and just spectating is also an option, and you won't be charged. There are TV screens outside of each game room, so you can see what's happening and take some photos, if you want. This is definitely a great way to spend an hour or two with older kids, and I could see this being a hit as a birthday party destination.

I have done over 15 escape room type games, and most have been either here or the other "big box…read moreescape room" company. I would recommend Countdown games highly!! Their game environments are much more versatile and interactive and the focus is not always on numbers and letters. The range of games is large, ranging from very difficult "must have team" games to games simple enough for two people!
