This procedure we were unable to schedule due to a shortage of dental hygienists at this location. The office does not provide all services in-house, we were required to seek treatment from another dental facility, incurring additional expenses. Despite scheduling a filling appointment based on a cavity identified during x-rays, the office unexpectedly requested another set of x-rays upon our arrival, necessitating a rescheduled appointment. This deviation from the previously communicated plan is unacceptable.

After my initial visit Mr Miller set up a plan as to what needed to be done. I was sent to root canal specialist and then an oral surgeon - both of whom where first rate. After thousands of dollars paid and over six months to complete, I have ended up with mis-shaped and uncomfortable bridge work he installed that are now missing two teeth that broke off within a month of being installed. I must now PAY AGAIN to have this bridge work removed and another bridge prepared and installed. I have been a patient of Dr Langehans at Off Island Dental for over a year. I am familiar with good dental care from other providers, and the importance of regular visits. But because of problems I experienced with his work, I cannot recommend the services of Dr Langehans at Off Island Dental. After all the time, discomfort, and money that I have invested in this procedure I am extremely disappointed.

I found a few dentists in my insurance network but Dr Wachtel was the only one able to see me quickly. At the office, the staff was really sharp! I barely sat down before the Dental Assistant called my name. We took X-rays which showed I needed two crowns to protect the chipped teeth. To cut to the chase, Dr. Wachtel is super experienced, calming and friendly. He clearly explained every step of the work as it progressed. I can tell he has great skill and a good way with people. I worked in a dental lab years ago and met all kinds of dentists. Dr. Wachtel stands out to me as one of the best. I'll stick with him for sure.
