My family's physical exam schedule has been delayed, which has caused major difficulties with the I-485 schedule. I had to travel twice from Bellevue to Lynnwood for urine and blood tests, even though I had normal samples taken. They got mad at us for calling the business line when we called to check and complain to review the two mistakes. If they had done it right, they wouldn't have called. The service spirit of the staff is terrible and when I first asked for the cost, they gave me the wrong price, so I had to pay more. At first, when he strongly protested that he would not apologize, he said that he would at best apologize and compensate, but he refused because he made questionable compensation in good faith. They are not experts and do not deserve star ratings. If someone mentions Chu Clinic, I won't hesitate to vote. They don't even reflect. Hospitals are also a type of service, but it seems to have become a habit for a long time.

Would rate this 0/5 stars if I could. I scheduled an annual…read moreappointment and checked in at the front desk with no issues.. during the appointment itself, everything was normal. I've had physicals in the past so I know how they go. There was nothing out of the ordinary in this one. They took my blood, listened to heartbeat, did reflexes, etc. I finished and was sent on my way. 2 weeks later I surprisingly receive a bill and it appears that my insurance didn't cover anything at all, despite insurance supposedly covering annual check-ups. I call their billing dept. and was told that since I mentioned having more headaches than normal, it was an office visit rather than an annual checkup? Wtf? I've had physicals in the past where they ask how I'm doing and I tell them honestly and have never been billed. I ask why wasn't I told during my check in, and the person on the phone says that the medical assistant tried to called me but couldn't reach me and so they changed it without my knowledge and consent. If I had known that I was going to get charged for bringing up a topic I COULD LITERALLY GOOGLE, I would have never came in. Procedures for a physical were also conducted so why isn't that also there in the notes? Very sus and super opaque by my standards. They also said that the doctor told me during the exam but that's a lie, because I would have left immediately. What incentive does a doctor have to tell you that you'd be billed for something, when they get paid for it? It seems like this clinic doesn't give two hoots about the actual health of their patients and are just out for your money. I had multiple calls trying to talk to someone who could do something about this, but all they said was that "we can't change it because the service was provided". So, if I go in, and they give me something I never asked for, I'm billed? I'm out $400, because of negligence and a lack of effort to try to do the right thing. These people are horrible and don't care about you. Also keep in mind that you must lie to your doctor during physicals if there's anything wrong, because if you tell the truth, they'll bill you. Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?

I have referred multiple friends and family members to her, who had previous lackluster or downright terrible experiences with their previous GP or PCP's. Each person I have referred has been incredibly happy that they finally made the switch and that the struggle of transferring over one's medical records and finding a new GP or PCP was well worth it. Keep in mind Dr. Freeman is a private practice, you cannot expect to be seen immediately, certainly worth the wait. The brilliant Dr. Verrilli was my primary care physician for over 20 years--not in Shoreline for…read moremost of the time though. He was at Minor and James in Seattle for a good long while before a shakeup at Swedish caused many of the best doctors to seek other options. Dr. Verrilli helped me with every imaginable problem, from car accident injuries, to the pneumonia I got annually for the last decade of my teaching career, and when necessary, he also sent me to some outstanding specialists. But the thing I credit him with most of all was diagnosing and developing a plan when my husband showed up in his office in March 2004 complaining of stomach pains and weight loss. Some guys would've handed him a few antacids and sent him on home, but Dr. Verrilli ordered blood work,endoscopy, colonoscopy all stat. Sure enough, it turned out to be stomach cancer. It was a rough period, but my guy recovered because of the attention he gave to my spouse's case and the diligence with which he checked in on him in the hospital, even though we had the oncologist (best in the city, again thanks to Dr. V), the surgeon, and a host of others. When the ball got dropped at one point by hospital staff that hadn't started an IV after several hours, Dr. Verrilli raised holy hell (fairly politely) and made sure treatment was provided promptly and correctly. I genuinely think we owe my husband's life to this talented, caring physician. Things to know: on your first visit, he's going to whip through a list of routine but necessary questions. He does this quickly, not because he has no patience, but because he wants it out of the way so that most of your appointment time can be used for whatever it is you came in for. When in doubt, he orders tests. He explains everything, and if you miss something, ask and he'll explain it again, differently if necessary. He works fast while he's in there with you, and that's why you are getting seen promptly, or very close to it. He wants to deal with your concern within your allotted time so that the person after you gets seen promptly, too. He is almost the only doctor out of the dozens I have seen in my many years in Seattle that will apologize if you have had to sit for an unplanned ten minutes waiting for him to come in and examine you. The guy has integrity. During times when one or the other of us was pretty sick but not hospitalized, he would either have someone on his staff call to check on us at home, or he would pick up the phone and do it himself. We would still be seeing Dr. V, even though it now means a drive from South Seattle clear up to freaking Shoreline, but our employment changed and now we have to use Kaiser Permanente doctors, which Dr. Verrilli is not. But you just cannot find a more conscientious and knowledgeable doctor anywhere. Highly recommended.

I had a major medical issue in April. Thankfully my issue can be handled by medications. After I left the hospital, I established my primary care with Dr. Leung and (of course) asked him to take over managing my five meds. Well, since then it has been an ongoing giant hassle to manage my meds. Just about every month, there's another problem getting my refills. The team fumbles that simple task over and over again. It doesn't feel like they're on my side to help me medically at all.
