I didn't feel no pain at all, she have a gentle hand and work proficiently. She was very focus and well prepared with her equipment to finish her job on a timely manner. A couple of weeks later, I had another appointment with Dr Eugene Talmadge. Like he has been, professional and very knowledgeable. He has been the one helping me for my dental issues, and he is always consistent. Dr Wis also helped me recently, he too was very friendly and comical, yet did a great job on my special dental issues. I keep coming back to this location because of the staffs and their compassion on their job. I always observe every places I go, from food industry, hospitality and dental/medical offices, to other things, I always observe very meticulously on small details. This location has not disappointed me. Thank you for all the staffs, from the front desk checking in patients, to the last person that checks patients out, you are all great!

Anyway he was being rude and just weird about the whole thing. Then a month later his braces just started falling out. A few of them just came off and the he ended up just pulling the braces out of his mouth. How can a 8 year old just pull braces out of his own mouth. Anyway they went back and the dentist was angry at them and kind of just walked out on them. Really odd the whole thing big waste of money.

This happened quite a while ago but it has a lasting impact on my life and I have gone back and…read moreforth about sharing it. When I had my braces with Conmy he told me that I was missing an adult tooth on the bottom right side and that in order for him to continue treatment I would need it removed. My mom told him we would rather just have the braces removed and discontinue treatment but instead he then said he wouldn't remove my braces until this was done. My dentist even advised against removing my "baby" tooth as it was perfectly fine and healthy and could last for years to come if not the rest of my life. However, the decision was made by Conmy to have it removed. Conmy them said I would need to go to an oral surgeon to have a screw placed to try and pull my remaining molars forward into the space where my tooth had been. This was traumatizing to say the least as it was extremely painful and failed TWICE. I had a screw loose and moving around in my jaw bone cutting into my right cheek and causing me pain for absolutely no reason because this whole "treatment", or what I would call experiment, didn't work. I now have had a hole in my mouth for almost a decade and due to this my teeth have shifted significantly, despite wearing my retainers religiously, and I will need braces or Invisalign again in my 20s. I am personally impacted by this decision for the rest of my life both financially in having to pay for another round of orthodontic treatment and the several thousand dollar titanium implant I will have to have placed in my jaw as well as physically by the pain of this experience which has continued to this day. I would love to note that a friend of mine went to Conmy around the same exact time as me and had the same issue but on the bottom left side of her mouth and guess what? Conmy didn't remove her tooth. I've been wondering for years if he just decided to use me as some guinea pig without my consent...I guess I'll never know. But having Conmy as my orthodontist was one of the worst experiences of my entire life and my experience matters so here I am sharing it. I hope this will help at least one person consider asking more questions and standing up for yourself. I was only 15 at the time, I wish I had used my voice and said no...but I trusted that he knew what was best for me. Thanks for reading this, I appreciate it.

The 1-star rating is for the very rude, unprofessional, very "catty" like attitude that Elysa the front receptionist gave me over the phone (3 separate times about different occasions over a few months total) and the face to face communication and interactions I had with her in the office, as well. I do not take my time to write 1-star reviews ever so this really upset me as I come from a customer service background myself and know the power that attitude, friendliness, kindness and appreciation really means to people when it comes to service. She does not seem happy to be working and does not seem to care about customer service kindness and friendly attitude. She honestly doesn't seem to care at all. Not sure how she is allowed to talk to people like that but even while sitting in the office lobby and listening to how she speaks to other people over the phone and checking them in in-person, she has this attitude towards everyone. She is the reason I chose to take my insurance elsewhere to find a dentist where I feel appreciated and spoken to kindly by all the staff. Kamalei the dental assistant is amazing, so kind, caring, knowledgeable and friendly and represents what all customer service workers should entail, which would most importantly be the type of attitude you would want with the front receptionist and person answering all your office's phone calls to bring you more business. A first impression is everything.
