This place is so yummy! I had the Lotus biscuit which was a cookie butter ice cream. It was so creamy and taste exactly like cookie butter. I loved it! My friend also got ice cream and loved it. I can't recall what flavor she got but she loved it. They let you try different flavors and then decide which flavor you'd like. The staff was nice. The place is super cute and in the heart of coconut grove. I highly suggest you check them out. There are so many good flavors to chose from. What happened to this place? Has there been a change in management or ownership? It's has really gone downhill fast. I was there this past Saturday, and not only was the service terrible, but the overall ambiance was disappointing. It honestly felt like I was having a very overpriced gelato in "los caserios de Puerto Rico" rather than the upscale gelato experience in Coconut Grove. To make matters worse, I overheard the manager casually slipping an "esta cabron" while talking to a friend who stopped by, which felt completely unprofessional. It's a shame because this used to be a great spot even if it was on the pricier side, the quality made it worth it. Unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon! read more

I had a really disappointing experience here. I spent over $40 on two ice creams and a brownie, but when I asked for an insulated to-go box to keep my daughter's ice cream from melting, I was told they wouldn't provide one unless I purchased their $39 gelato package that includes it. What made this worse was the lack of basic customer service. No one could clearly explain the policy, and when I offered to simply buy the insulated box on its own, they refused. That just doesn't make sense--especially when I had already spent more than the required amount in-store. It felt rigid, unaccommodating, and honestly unnecessary. A small gesture like this could have gone a long way, especially for a paying customer. Instead, it left a bad impression. The gelato may be good, but the experience didn't match. read more

So so cute inside! We were there at 10pm on a Tuesday and wow was it busy. I felt bad for the employee, It seemed like there should have been more workers because he was nonstop. I tried 5 flavors and felt underwhelmed by a lot of them. But I was happy with the one that I ended up getting which was Lemon Pie. It was super fresh like a lemon sorbet and had a yummy meringue. Wow. My fiancé and I took her parents here after we all got in the mood for gelato. And let me just say? This did NOT disappoint. They have such an amazing variety of gelato for any flavor you are looking for. They also let you try many different flavors to see what suits you. Everything is AMAZING! I opted for the Snickers and my fiancé got the Lotus biscuit and they were both phenomenal. Her parents also loved theirs! Now the thing that really blew me away was the service!!! Our server Gio (who is also the manager) was ABSOLUTELY amazing and fully had his attention on us. He let us try multiple flavors and was super kinda and courteous. We even noticed this same level of attention with everybody else that came in after us. The inside is also very cool but could use some decoration or music to liven it up a little.. Danielle Gelato is a new spot on Commodore plaza in Coconut Grove! Its a beautiful spot- they have plenty of indoor & outdoor seating available.... I sampled the: almond pistachio, cherry chocolate, dulce de leche, dulce crunch..and went with a small cup of almond pistacho/dulce crunch. Presentation is really nice, they serve it with a waffle cookie, portions are definitely generous... It's a little more upscale than other gelato/ice cream parlors... very good quality! Excellent Gelato at a prime spot in Coconut Grove. Team is very friendly. They explained different flavors and options. We went for Yoghurt with passion fruit. An amazing blend of flavors, with the creaminess of a Gelato but actually quite light. We also tried Dubai chocolate, with hints of Pistaccio as it should be. We will come back for sure. Public service announcement to make sure you don't accidentally forget any of your personal belongings here. Went here last night about 2 hours before close and came back today shortly after they opened and the employee working was extremely rude and unhelpful. Bummer that I forgot my jacket, but even bigger bummer that we gave this place our business and then it was met with absolutely abhorrent customer service the next day. The guy even remembered us too, but was still rude and unreceptive. This was a fortuitous find on our walk back to the car from Ariete. We saw people walking with mountains of ice cream, followed them, and ended up at Danielle Gelato, where one kid leaving told our daughter, completely unsolicited, "get the snickers." And so she did. Because the portions are ginormous, each of us opted for halfsies of two flavors: Dubai chocolate and cherry & Dubai chocolate and biscoff. Damn, the gelato here is so freaking' good, and it better be because those three gelatos with tip cost $40. Damn, Miami, coming in hot !$!$!$! The dubai chocolate was so rich and nicely balanced between the chocolate and pistachio, and the knafeh crunch was perfect in it. The biscoff was good, but the cherry flavor really impressed. So sour! Love that they didn't shy away from that and the fact that there was a nice syrupy run in it. Our daughter loved her snickers and the mini marshmallows she insisted getting on top of it. We also want to shout out that we got excellent service from Gio. All told, we're glad we came and ate so much good gelato, but considering the price, this is more of a one-time special treat on vacation than it could be your local spot (at least for us as non-Millionaire Miamians). read more

You could really taste the quality in both flavors. It was dangerously good... walking past it again in Coconut Grove without stopping in was seriously a challenge. I only post reviews on here when I get pissed and have something negative to say, but this place deserves a positive review. Best gelato in Miami hands down. Multitude of different flavors, all fantastic. Been here several times and it simply doesn't miss. The quality is there each and every time. Not to mention, the customer service is great.
