I was also especially impressed with how Jennifer handled a woman that came in while I was there for my eyebrows. The woman came in yelling about not being happy with her eyebrows and Jennifer remained calm explained that she has tried to make things right with her including touch ups but the woman was still not happy. Jennifer then tried to hand her money offing her a partial refund but the woman screamed she didn't want charity and refused the money. I don't know that anything could have made her happy. I did see her eyebrows and honestly didn't understand why she was upset but Jennifer remained calm and continued to try and make things right. After the woman finally left. Jennifer composed herself and made sure I was ok and apologized for the disruption to my appointment. I don't think she could have handled it any better.

I got a complimentary haircut to make up for the delay so it's all good. Great service, very nice ladies, chic and modern salon. I'm giving it 4 stars because of one aesthetician who had her hair color done while on the clock and a client had to wait maybe 15 minutes before that aesthetician could attend to her. I think if she needed to have her hair done, she should do it when it's dead slow or she could set up a time when she doesn't have to do it on the clock. Just sayin'. Wendy on the other hand is great and very professional.

He is genuinely a nice guy and has such creativity. The South Hill location was closer for me, but I'll drive the distance to have Grant cut my hair, for sure! I have had Grant color my hair too (which was fantastic), but I'm going natural now and just letting that grey happen. Although that could change in the future (haha). Scheduling an appointment is also super easy, and I can usually schedule in the next week or so (since I'm one of those "oh geez, I need a haircut now" type people).

If I could give negative stars I would. I was put off on the phone when I called to inquire about…read moreservices. The woman was curt with me on the phone and proceeded to tell me what I could and could not tolerate pain wise. I ended up making an appointment based on my better judgement. Fast forward to the day of my appointment where I arrived 15 minutes early to complete any paperwork. When I arrived, I was told the person I had an appointment with would not be back for the day by two rude girls (one haircut girl and the other did mani/pedi). Neither one bothered to pick up the phone to see if the person I did have an appointment with would be back. So I waited. The technician arrived 10 minutes after my appointment time. Communication to acknowledge me by this person is the type I usually reserve for people I really don't like. Anyways, after 15-20 minutes of completing paperwork and talking about what she was going to do, I had a 15 minute appointment because, well she was late! Fast forward to next appointment, where I was once again greeted (I use that term loosely) by the same rude haircut girl. She glanced at me and looked back at her text before deciding to acknowledge me without ever glancing back up from her phone. Once again I arrived 15 minutes early and after about 10, rude haircut girl asked if I had an appointment (finally!). Yes, I did. My appointment was at 9:15 and at 9:24 I gathered my items and started to leave. Finally the technician asked if she could help me to which I was astonished since I was her next appointment. I had just met her the prior week! Needless to say, by the time I sat down for my procedure, to which she was now 22 minutes late for, I decided it wasn't going to work for me. I told her I wouldn't be back. She then started to go on the attack and then tried to reach over and hug me. I told her no, I stood up, grabbed my purse and walked out! You ask about the services?? How should I know. I've only spent time waiting (40 minutes), got a 15 minute procedure which should have been 1/2 hour since I paid for 1/2 hour. Would I recommend. NO WAY!!
