Dani did a really good job with altering my dress, but I noticed during one fitting that there was a stain that wasn't there before and more kept appearing each time I went to fittings. I couldn't help but think she was doing something or putting something on the dress. Then when I took the dress home after she steamed the dress, there were so many stains. I can't believe the amount of damage that was done. I requested a 50% refund politely, but she only offered to give back the money for the steaming. read more

Dani was so amazing and attentive to everything we needed done. My dress had a zipper that I couldn't close and she was able to replace it with a corset for me. She did a custom fabric match that came out better than I could've hoped for. On top of all that, she fixed a botched bridesmaid dress for us, did a custom tuxedo fitting and alterations on another bridesmaid dress all before our wedding. We went into Dani's Bridal in search for a wedding dress for my sister. The owner was very rude to both my mom and my sister when it came to discussing dress options. A lot of the dresses were not in my sister's budget but she would have been willing to spend more if the dress was something she loved and the owner was actually nice. Instead the owner wouldn't even bother showing her dresses over her budget. The entire experience was negative and stressful. If you enjoy shopping for expensive dresses in a run down shop, I'd recommend this place. Otherwise, save your money and go else where. read more

Granddaughter from Denver here in Salt Lake for her wedding. Her dress needed refreshing before the wedding. I'm the Grandpa here and trying to help out. I called several cleaners and dress shops for help with this. No one was interested in helping us. Wouldn't do the work, tried to overcharge, or wanted a week or longer to do this simple job. And the biggest surprise was that even the shop my Granddaughter bought the expensive dress from here in town refused to help us. We mentioned that the dress was purchased from their shop several weeks ago when my Granddaughter was here in Utah. Still an absolute and rude refusal to help because the dress was altered. Huh??? Anyway, called Dani's Bridal. Immediate understanding and help. Was told to bring the dress in for an estimate. Upon arrival I was given a quote that was very reasonable, and our time frame was easily met. Dress was freshened up and ironed/steamed. She even went the extra step and fixed a few fuzzies. She also helped me with instructions on how to properly pin dress up for storage and transport. She made me as the Grandfather feel part of the process, and made my Daughter and Granddaughter so happy because we got an important task checked off the to-do list. Work was done right. On time. I had a horrible experience with this place. I really didn't want to leave a bad review but I am typing this as we are on our way to our destination wedding and looking for a place to fix my dress. I dropped my dress off in June, I was getting married in July. She kept telling me I've been doing this for 10+ years, we know what we are doing..etc. Dani was nice and I trusted her. I needed the dressed shorter, add a few inches on the top and she recommended sewing the straps. I told her, I wouldn't able to come in for the 2nd fitting because I live in Vegas but she made very detailed notes on what I needed off so I didn't think it would be an issue. I was supposed to pick up my dress July 22 but we didn't get a call, my fiance and I show up the next day and she had no clue. She was looking everywhere for the dress and my fiance had to show a photo of what my dress looked like. Then she asked when the wedding date..we said the 26th and she assured us come back Monday and the dress will be ready. Well, shoot...WE TOLD HER WE LEAVE TOMORROW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE DAY BEFORE. She assured us it is done and that it's just at her seamstress' place and she would need to pick it up, give her an hour. So we come back in an hour, the dress doesn't fit. I don't think they even added any room on the top at all. She said come back at 5pm and she will have it ready. Dani was saying, it was a quiet dress and that it's wedding season..they were more busy with the 12 layer dresses, as if I wasn't important because I was wearing a bridesmaid dress as my wedding dress. She even said, it was a month ago and since I was from out of town, she forgot about it. Which was weird because in the beginning, I was getting my alterations a bit late. I had to remind her multiple times what she needs to do with my dress. I had an appointment to get my hair done and so my fiance had to pick it up..the dress still didn't fit. The straps were poorly sewed and she didn't return my garment bag that I paid for extra at the bridal shop. One more thing that bothered me,she kept calling me "kiddo" and my fiance and I "kids" that she would give us $30 off because the inconvenience, that we had to come back 3x and us "kids" could use the extra for gas money. She also kept calling me the wrong name..when she asked for my remaining balance, I was charged wrong, later on I realized she had the wrong customer. She was looking everywhere around her messy desk for my paperwork. Bottom line, very unpleasant experience. I am not even sure I can wear my dress. read more

My sister, who is my Maid of Honor, bought her dress from this shop. The shop failed to call her to let her know the dress was ready to be picked up. The lady had the wrong number for her, which was different than what my sister wrote down. Come to find out also they charged my sister for shipping for the dress!!!! I have never heard of a bridal shop you spend money on a dress charging for shipping ($15)!!! She said shes a small shop so she passes on the shipping charges to the customer. We should've just bought it In california directly from alfred angelo!!! The lady also claimed she only paid $109 and my sister paid $196. Dani did a great job on my wedding dress. First off, i'm a BBW with a large bust. Dani made some polite suggestions on what kind of dress would be flattering on me and we got down to work. We looked through the large stock in the store, but nothing appealed to me so we flipped through a designer magazine and found the one I liked. She took my measurements and ordered the dress. When it came in, I was pleasantly surprised how accurate the dress fit. The dress was originally strapless and Dani was able to add shoulder cuffs from the exact same material and it looked great. All of this was done in about three months. I did pay for rush shipping, material for the cuffs and the cost of alterations, but that is to be expected. Alterations were VERY reasonably priced. I am a plus size gal and its hard for me to find a wedding dress. I called Dani's up and asked if they had anything in my size for me to try on because I just bought a dress online from china and its just awful. She was so friendly and nice and told me to come on in and bring the dress I have. She told me she didnt have any sample sizes in my size but to come on in and we can talk. So my fiance and I went in to the shop. She was honestly super awesome! I loved her! Her demeanor and attitude was great! I tried on the dress i bought online and showed her and we went over why it didnt look the best on me. She told me all about other dresses and which ones would look good on me! She did have one dress that we were able to squeeze me into and it was perfect! It really did make me look the best I could with a wedding dress. Dani really knows what she is talking about! She is very knowledgeable about which dress will look best on you. She made me happy. I ended up not getting that dress because they china people told me they will make me any other dress to make me happy. I know that was probably the WORST decision but cost of wedding dresses makes us girls do crazy things lol. If I know someone who is getting married soon, I would gladly refer them to Dani's! Dannyette was amazing! I went to multiple shops around the valley (6 I believe) and she was the first person to really talk to me. She asked me questions and truly listened to what I wanted. It was a lovely experience! Not only did she listen to the dress I wanted but she actually asked me about my budget and tried her hardest to stay near it. She only brought me dresses that fit my description and didn't try to push anything. I wanted a simple and softly beautiful vintage style dress and she was the only shop I found that had that. After reading many reviews and being turned down by recommended seamstresses I made the decision to try Dani's Bridal works and let me just tell you my bridesmaids dress was not an easy fix but Dani was up for the Challenge! She was super nice & I could tell she new what she was talking about which is a huge relief in a time of crisis! The dress I brought her was in my opinion a lost cause I was sure I was going to look terrible on the day of my best friends wedding. It was 2 sizes to big too begin with.... Most alterations for a dress you think of length right?.... WRONG the length, sleeves, waist, bust, shoulders to sum it up the entire dress!!! I only had 3 weeks to get this dress in tip top shape & I thought it wasn't going to possible Dani reassured me we could make this work! I picked my dress up yesterday the wedding is in 10 days! It looks like a whole new dress **which was a huge improvement** it finally fit! Did I mention it was chiffon? One of the hardest materials to work with let alone alter! The dress is now perfect in every way! I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone & when my day comes to get married I know exactly where I will be going if I need ANYTHING!!! I stopped by this store on a Saturday and it was empty. I went in to see if they had a specific dress that I was looking for. They did, but they could only show me the dress and not let me try it on because they were too busy. That was a little hard to believe because the store was completely empty. There were a lot of dresses on the rack, but it was so crowded and cramped that I couldn't even see what else they offered. I decided once I saw the dress in person, I wasn't interested in it. I found it interesting that the owner was so surprised that I knew the approximate cost of the dress. I got my bridesmaid dress from Dani's bridal because she had the dress that the rest of the out of state bridesmaids had. I wish I would have known prior to this what a disaster it would have been because if I would have, i would have done more research and found someone else. When I initially went there, she didn't have a sample of dress I could try on... So she did my measurements only. I ordered the dress hoping she would get my size correct, and ordered 3.5 months prior to the wedding date. She told me it would be back 5 weeks prior to when it actually arrived. After leaving her over 5 voice mails in a period of 2 weeks, with no return call... & trying to figure out where the dress was, she (Dani) finally gets back to me telling me she was on vacation, and that I needed to relax because the dress would be in that Friday. Well, a WEEK later, I still didn't hear from her, and the dress didn't come in until the NEXT week. I go in, and she tells me to bring everything in im going to wear with it (aka, bra, etc.) She must have forgotten I have never actually even physically SEEN the dress, let alone know what bra i needed to bring. I show up for the first fitting. She was rude, cold, in-professional... acted annoyed that I was there, and the dress fit HORRIBLY. I literally could not zip it up, nor breathe in it. She had no suggestions other than if i paid additional money for her to take it out, then she would. So i paid more money, asked her to take it out, came back in the next week for another fitting, and she took the dress out in the WRONG area, and it still fit the exact same way it did before. The stitching was horrible, and the dress fit worse than it did the first time. She also took other customer calls while I was in there for the fitting. She kept looking at me and said "Well, this is what you asked for." I kept repeating that i never asked for a dress that i couldn't breathe in, nor did I ask for her to take it in and out in the places she (or whoever hand stitched the dress did.). Needless to say, she said if i wanted it fit again (which im now 5 days away from the wedding,) i would have to pay more money. I grabbed the dress from her, told her she would be the last person touching it again at this point, and am now in dress 911 panic. Dani is rude, unprofessional, cold, insensitive & her shop is a mess. I can't imagine if I was actually the bride in this situation let alone a bridesmaid... I would NEVER recommend anyone waste your time and money at her whatever it is.... Because that is what it will be. A waste of time, energy and money... And you'll have to end up fixing what she messed up. read more

I went to this place after reading that they carried an exclusive line of dresses that I really wanted to see. When I called the store the lady on the phone was very kind and helpful and although she didn't have the particular dresses that I wanted to see, I decided to set up a time and go try on a few others that she had and see if I might like them. Now I am getting married and I want to make sure that the dress that I pick is PERFECT for me. When I git there the lady seemed to be put off a bit by the fact I was there at all. She had one dress picked out for me to try on and then i chose one that I liked. I loved the first dress and it was very pretty, but I wanted to see more. She seemed again put off by this fact like I should have wanted the first one and no others. Then she began asking me questions about my wedding and that's normal you know but she just seemed RUDE about the way she was talking to me. I was able to Try on 4 dresses, during the time that I was looking at the fourth dress she began aggressively asking me how much I wanted to spend and why I hadn't purchased a dress from any of the other places I had visited. When I told her my price range and that I just hadn't found "the one" she quickly started undoing the back of the dress I was wearing practically snapping the lace out of the loops and said to my fiance and I " well good luck, keep looking, I'm sure you'll find it." and then walked away from us. I have never been treated so poorly in a place. I practically left there in tears at how badly she treated me. This woman ( Dani was her name) is only concerned about how much money you will spend there she really doesn't care about spending any time with brides, David's bridal treated me a thousand times better than she did, and that's saying something. No matter how much I had to spend on my dress I would NEVER by it from her. If I could deduct stars from her rating I would. BEWARE!!! read more

After visiting multiple bridal stores in the valley looking for a formal dress for a work function and being treated poorly by most of them I was beyond thrilled when I found this gem of a place. Small shop but full of great dresses at a great price. The service I received from the owner (Dani) was awesome. We needed a wedding dress altered and we went to Dani's Bridal because we had read great reviews about it online. Our first impression of Dani was not a good one. Her desk space was cluttered and she had a hard time finding things. She seemed very scattered/spacey and had to ask us multiple times when the wedding was, when we needed the dress by, and what alterations needed to be done. We needed the dress hemmed and the shoulder height adjusted. She charged us $400!! And kept repeating over and over how she could never do another dress with "10 layers". We had to return three times for fittings and we were actually happy with what was being done, albeit a tad frustrated that she was late for some of the fittings. After our second trip in, we scheduled the next/final fitting so that we could pick the dress up a week before bridals were scheduled. When we went to pick up the dress, it was not finished! Dani did not seem to care, and again, asked when the wedding was and when we needed the dress by. She made arrangements for us to pick it up in 3 days. The dress was finally picked up and taken home and when we got it home, we realized that the sleeves had been put back together incorrectly. We called Dani and she told us to bring it back in. We took the dress back in (again) and she agreed to have it fixed that day. We asked about getting some money back for A) Not having it ready when it was supposed to be and B) Giving it back incorrectly put together. She said there was no way she could do that and offered a store credit for jewelry, which we didn't need. Overall, the dress turned out, but we were very dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. Wouldn't recommend it. read more
