Your sign online says that you're open from 10 to 6 and then when you drive up to your store, it also says that you were open from 10 to 6 Monday through Saturday except when you get to your door that opens the facility it says a different time and now you're only open on Tuesday, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 6. Update your days and hours online. It would save people a headache from driving over there and then trying to figure out where to go for another alterations. read more

Michelle has been in the business for over 30 years!! She knows what's she's doing. Easy to talk to and she's a straight shooter on your clothes and will let you know if the work she does is worth it for a specific garment. COST Brought two suit jackets and one pant. ($102 for taking out the jackets as well as pants). Pretty expensive. TIMEFRAME Came on a Friday, and picked them up three Fridays later. Not the best turn around, especially since she said they'd be done in one week, but fortunately I wasn't in a rush to get them back. She said it was school time soon and she was busy with uniforms etc. My suggestion when bringing clothes to Michelle is to just prepare for a 2-3 week wait. She has a little changing room with a mirror immediately when you enter the store, to the right. Pull the curtain and flip the light switch and you have your privacy. To be honest, not sure a bigger person could change in here and maintain their privacy (just an FYI). Overall, decent experience and I trust her with my clothes. read more

Ok, so I used Michelle's for hemming 7 pairs of dickies uniform pants. She had them done in a week. I was very satisfied with the work they did and the hem looks wonderful. I think they can do rush orders if needed from what the sing said, but you would pay extra. Small local business and I thought the service was good. Oh and bring CASH! They take local checks only with ID or cash only. NO CREDIT CARDS! Just FYI. read more

I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of climbing pants but just couldn't seem to find anything that fit just right. I went with the prana brion pants, but they were just too baggy below the knee. Michelle did an amazing job at getting these to fit right! Solid work. They do take card now. The was my exact same experience. She told me it would be done the week before 10/20/2012 and when I made a special trip to pick them up she told me without remorse that "Sorry, lady was sick" and would be ready by following Tuesday 10/23/2012. I unfortunately as I do not work out of her home like she does I couldnt make it there by Tuesday night. She actually called me late that night and said I needed to be by that night, which I couldnt. She also told me that she was leaving the next day for a month and I had to be by to pickup my items by lunchtime. Well I work an hour away, I am not making a special trip. After we argued on the phone she sdai for me to be there by 6pm or I would not get my item. Well, its the day of (10/24/2012), I picked up my jacket by 5:40pm and when I was picking it up I told the guy (I believe her son) in a nice way, that unfortunately Michelle has lost my business as this has happened to many times before. He actually said "Thats ok we have more business then you, get out of my f'ing home". Well it should be your business not your home. Anyway, lost my business forever and I will try and post about this everywhere I can. read more

Michelle is good at tailoring, but don't expect your clothes to get done when she says they will. This used to not be a problem, but she has gotten way too busy in the past few years and has too much to do. She has told me she will finish my garments by a certain date and has failed to do so on numerous occasions after I make trips out to pick up my alterations (I don't leave nearby at all). On the most recent occasion, she told me my garments will not be done the day they were supposed to be and that she will be leaving town for over a month. This is a huge problem when you need your garments for a specific purpose and now have no option to get them done in time. Do not expect customer loyalty as I have been a customer for over 15 years and she does not seem to care. read more

I have used Michelle's twice and both times my items were not ready when she said they would be. I had to come back again several days later. That would be bad news if you needed to wear that item for an occasion right away. She does good work but is unrealiable.
