I started seeing Danling before Covid for various health reasons and back/neck tension from prolonged sitting on the office chair. Dr. Danling Zhang is the only Chinese acupuncturist I would recommend. I had two miscarriages in 2023. Then We started consulting IVF in 2024 but was unsuccessful for the first time. While I was taking a break from IVF and thinking if I need to try another round, I went to California to visit my family. I came to have treatment few years ago for infertility. I had acupunctures for about a month 5-6 times and took the Chinese herbs she prescribed together. During that month, I had super bad insomnia that never happened to me before. Even I stopped the treatment and I still had insomnia often time. re: Fertility Acupuncture After three year of trying to conceive and two failed IUIs with an Unexplained Infertility diagnosis, my husband and I had pretty much lost hope so I started googling alternatives. I read about the benefits of Acupuncture and decided to try, despite my massive fear of needles. tl;dr - I conceived the first month I visited and am extremely appreciative for Dr. Zhang's work, her honesty, and how approachable and helpful she is with any questions I had throughout the process. My first visit was cd6 (cycle day 1 is the first day of your full period) and she reviewed the blood work results from my REI doctor. One thing I really appreciated was that she said I should see results within six months, and that if it didn't work by then then continuing treatment would be unnecessary. She then treated me by placing 18 or 19 extremely thin needles into various points. I noticed that when I was tensed I could feel them go in (not pain, just feeling it), but when I relaxed I felt nothing. My second visit was the day before our IUI/ovulation and it went the same way. Two weeks later we found out we were pregnant and I came back for my pre-scheduled appointment. She reduced the number of needles and used different points, and I continued to come regularly until 12 weeks were completed. After my ACL surgery, I was willing to try anything on top of my physical therapy to improve the recovery process. Fortunately, I got pregnant two cycles after my last appointment (I've been trying to conceive for 1+ year). Before going to her, I went to see at least 3 other Chinese doctors/ acupuncturists, and Dr Zhang is the only one that understands the illness that I have! I spent sometime looking for a good acupuncture place and found this business. I was happy to see and use their online booking system. So i booked an appointment for a day on the weekend and then received a confirmation email and a text reminder with the person i would be seeing (Yawruey Chien) I showed up to my appointment and NO ONE was there. I waited and waited and no one ever showed up. I was able to reach someone from a number from their voicemail and that person did not know anything about my booking. She then expected me to wait while she called around to try to find someone to come in later in the day. I didn't have time and told her i would take my business somewhere else! Dr Danling sincerely cares for the welfare of her patients. I went to her with a severe pain in my neck and shoulders. My neck was also stiff and I had a terrible headache- like a migraine. I was literally unable to move and had a long day ahead of me. Dr Danling first used acupuncture and relieved me of the stiffness and pain in my shoulders. My neck still hurt, so she used a scrubbing technique to relieve me of that. When she saw I was still suffering from my headache (which had been there for over 12hrs) she gave me another round of acupuncture on my feet. The one visit was life saving for me as a working Mum. I had wrist injury from helping my baby nursing while I held him in the football position using my hand to keep his tiny head close to my chest. It actually uses the same group of muscle as texting on the cell phone, the overuse of the thumb. It became so painful that it turned into something called "De Quervain syndrome". Dr, Danling Zhang is smart and has excellent skill in both acupuncture and Chinese traditional medicine. I went to Dr. Zhang after I had had long term pre menopause bleeding problems for one and half year and when my primary physician advised to take off my womb. But I do not like the surgery. During one year period, Dr. Zhang helped me a lot. The small needles have magic power in her hand. Sometimes she stopped my bleeding effectively while other times she used the needle to make the blood clot come out. Now my bleeding problem is almost over and I am sure I do not need the surgery. Later, I found out that my blood pressure was a little higher. She gave me a small bottle of medicine and said I just need to take five small pills one time a day.
