So I had to call the office, the same lady picked up the phone and finally checked for me and said my insurance does cover but it is in-network so I don't go to their office because using my insurance they will have less reimbursement. Long over due review here. I was a healthy 34yo with an active lifestyle and good BMI. I've had 3 miscarriages prior to coming here. Tiffany and Wesley are both so kind and knowledgeable. They do face and body needles to treat holistically. I was able to strengthen one side of my face that was weaker with acupuncture. I went for 3 days to induce my pregnancy. Started at 38 weeks and gave birth a week early at 39 weeks. Weasley would ask me to walk for 30 minutes with induction needles in my skin. Then I would spend the rest of the time lying down with needles. The experience of being induced with needles is wild. I would feel a flutter during the walk. Those were contractions!! I come from a family that has been in medicine for the past 4 generations, starting with my great-great-grandfather who was the first professor of Chinese medicine in China. Since then, every generation of the family has practiced either western and eastern medicine (except for me). Last year I moved to Sunnyvale, and needed a new acupuncturist. I called around the acupuncturists in the area, and I still remember talking to Tiffany because she was so kind and empathetic even on the phone. Now, having been treated by several acupuncturists both in China and in the US, I can honestly say that Tiffany is amongst the top acupuncturists I've ever been treated by. Although medicine generally is still an experience-based practice, Tiffany is exceptionally talented in her ability to diagnosis and treat effectively. In addition to US certification, Tiffany was trained by her grandfather, and she seems to have a very strong intuitive understanding of my pain points. My issues were resolved within the first few sessions. If you're looking for an acupuncturist in the area, look no further. If you're on the fence about acupuncture and Chinese medicine in general, consider the fact that only 10% of Western medicine today is based on Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), which only started in 1952. 50% of Western medicine is based on expert opinion! Even now, most of the RCTs are based on highly homogenized and small datasets (think white, male, healthy). Scientists have no idea why a lot of medications work, including everyday OTC drugs such as Tylenol. Certainly scientists have various theories, but there is still so much we don't know about the human body. All of this to say, at least based on my personal experience, while Chinese medicine is not a panacea, it is extremely effective for certain types of ailments. Western medicine has its merits as well, although standardization and evidence-based treatments still have a long way to go. Further, success of treatment in Chinese medicine, more than in Western medicine, is highly dependent on provider intuition and ability. For this reason, I strongly recommend Tiffany. read more

I've been to an acupuntutist before, so I know that it not only works but I can tell if someone knows what they are doing. Dr. Tiffany knows what she is doing. Tiffany is Uhhh-mazing!! She has saved me throughout my pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy and it's nothing like my first. I could barely get out of bed at 6 weeks due to severe nausea, fatigue, and always feeling like I'm going to pass out. I started seeing Tiffany at 6.5 weeks pregnant in which she treated me for my nausea, fatigue, anxiety, as well as gave me pointers for the head rushes I kept getting. I immediately saw results after the first session. Within a hour of leaving I had increased energy and absolutely no nausea at all! I've also noticed a significant decrease in my anxiety. Had my first occurance of plantar fasciitis a several months ago. I tried all of my GP recommended home treatments, stretches, exercises, massages, etc. All had little to no relief or lasting effect. Fed up with the pain, but not wanting to take steroids or other meds, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tiffany Zhang. One session with her and there was immediate improvement. I was almost pain free that evening and the next morning when it usually hurt the most it was gone completely instead. She warned me one treatment might not do anything or the pain might come back. She was right. A few days later my foot started to ache again. I toughed it out for a couple weeks hoping home treatment would work this time. Nope. I scheduled another appointment with her. Second appointment, same as the first with the effects lasting longer. It did eventually flare up again but after a third session I haven't had to to go back in months and am currently pain free. If it's your fist time Tiffany explains the process of the needles and makes sure that you're ready for the needle pokes. Let's be real, it's needles, poking into your skin. It's not exactly a pleasant feeling at first. Tiffany exudes calmness and goodwill though. She makes sure you're comfortable at all times with blankets, pillows, heat lamps, and provides a clicker that rings a bell if you need help or assistance. Plantar fasciitis was the primary reason I was there but Tiffany took the time to delve deeper and provide treatments for my lower back pain and headaches during my visits as well. I've been going to see Dr. Tiffany for fertility. She would advise me weekly on what is happening and recommended what I should eat or do to increase our chances of conceiving.
