I gave this review five stars based on results. I have been going to see Dr Danny Lai for the past two weeks to treat my left shoulder that I badly fractured last summer. I'm not sure that I will ever understand how poking me in my knees with needles helps my shoulder feel better, but I swear it does! :) The thickness of the needles is the same as a human hair btw so there is zero pain from that, maybe just a little prick or nothing at all. Every patient is unique, but do not be surprised to feel some different aches and discomfort between services as your body makes adjustments. Just don't quit! You will feel much better when it passes and you'll stay better. Also, I really like the convenience of booking my appointments online and pre paying in advance. My First time doing Acupuncture and Chiropractor. It has been great changes how my body feels. As you get older your body start aching and less flexibility, i travelled for works a lot of sitting for hours and hours on the plane. I had back ache, shoulder, arms, wrist , knee and Neck. Since i went to Dr. Danny, pain slowly reduced, i can lift my arms again( i had hard time before). Dr. Lai is the best! I came into his office about two weeks ago with Extreme Lower back pain. After my first treatment I walked out feeling like a new man! Both my husband and I have gone to see Dr. Lai for Chiropractic services and we're glad we did. My husband has suffered with long term back pain for years due a previous work injury and had never gone to a chiropractor before. After trying multiple pain injections, accupuncture, and physical therapy for his back, we finally decided to try Dr. Lai and it's made a huge difference in how his back feels. Ok, I'll be honest. I don't review often, however...I gotta do this in hopes it helps someone else. I have a long list of ailments. 3 back surgeries and a knee surgery under my belt. Ever since my recent back surgery I have been now diagnosed with Bursitis in my left hip and plantar fascitis in my feet. Constant pain, tried it all. I was prescribed steroids which I'd like to rather not take (which at this point, why would I put them into my body when this is working), a massager for my feet, those things you wear to stretch your feet at night, changed my shoes etc. I could barely walk without pain when I first arrived. Dr. Danny Lai puts a couple needles in my hands of all places for my feet and when he told me to walk I couldn't believe it. No pain. I almost cried. How does that happen?? That's what I call a miracle. Now my mom goes with me for arthritis in her hands and is a believer too. We understand it will take a few visits to continue to keep the pain away as it starts to creep back in after a couple days. But our pain has never gone back to where we started. I was in town for a short time and he was able to accommodate me with my schedule. He fit me into his schedule the same day I called. Dr. Danny was very thorough in which the first visit consisted of a detailed patient history, consult, ordered laboratory test, performed chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture. HORRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH! My husband started seeing him and from the start it isn't about helping to target pain areas. He does a simple protocol and doesn't try to help or address the parts that hurt. My husband has insurance through his work which has a small co-pay for chiropractic services. After a couple visits Danny said our insurance denied it and we need to pay out of pocket. I had called the insurance 5 times and once right in front of him and passed the phone to him. The insurance company explained the services are covered but he must bill the sister entity(to the medical insurance) which handles those benefits. Danny continued to bill the medical group and continued to bill us and then I had even spoke to him on the phone and he was rude saying I was wrong. I personally had to contact our insurance give them Danny's information and get the bill to them myself, which once that was done it was paid. You shouldn't operate a chiropractic office if you can not bill correctly and then get extremely rude about it. NEVER going back. read more

I went to Danny Lai with a leg problem. We talked in his office then he did a chiropractor treatment on me. That did not feel very good but it did put me back in alignment . Next he did acupuncture on my leg. I saw him a couple more times for my leg and it did work well. He is very gentle and I had no pain. My leg felt better right within a few days. He seems to be very busy and it's a no frills set up but it works. I would go back to him if he didn't seem so rushed. I think he really knows what he is doing. read more

As of May 2020: Missing & unenforced COVID mask policies & practices endangering elderly, children patients and refused to do any thing about it. Really like the Dr. & his wife, would recommend outside of a pandemic only, holistic care is not followed of you refuse to keep your patience safe & front desk staff was almost always unfriendly & rude, came into my acupuncture room with no masks & wouldn't put it on. The response to my compliant from Dr. Lai was, "I don't know to say." I expected more from a very experience caregiver and he's so gifted, but first you have to effectively respond to a pandemic, science is real and not everyone can maintain perfect immunity with eating & life stress 100% of the time, saving yourself from COVID (if not vaccinated) and this was not being taken into consideration the last time we went in May 2020. Dr. Danny is the MAN. About 1 year ago, I started getting migraines and my wife (who was a patient of his, before she passed) suggested I try Dr. Danny. Well in 3 short visits, migraines gone. Have not had one in over a year. Just recently, I was getting extreme shoulder pain which was limiting my range of motion and then started getting numbness and tingling down my arm and hand. I called Dr. Danny and told him what was happening and he took me right in without an appointment. So far, he has found a pinched nerve in my shoulder, so far I 3 visits, the range of motion is getting better, numbness and tingling starting to subside, not 100% yet, but we are getting there.
