A very average donut shop! I tried this place recently and was left slightly disappointed. Upon entering the shop, I was presented with a strong chemical smell. Not a pleasant, floor cleaner smell; but a harsh, somewhat sour smell which was off putting. I was served quickly, but I observed a limited selection of available donut options to choose from (this was at 8:30am on a Thursday). I chose from the very basic options which were fairly priced. Service and price were fine. The donuts tasted okay, but were inconsistent. The maple long John was fresh with soft, air dough and a moist maple frosting. The fruity pebble donut, however, was a bit stale with chewy, slightly outdated cereal pieces. The overall lack of consistency lands Danny's shop in line with the typical donut vendor in the area. read more

Donut freshness and taste were so-so. I came in early afternoon so donut selection was poor. The lady was nice and said they had most of the products were sold by noon. According to her/owner, she only bakes once in the am and that's it. I'm going to stick to BOSA Donuts, they always have a great selection and bake as needed. read more

Danny personally served me three donust and a coffee. Quiet and calm, very professional and clean. The donuts are so soft and fluffy; perfectly bakes unlike a rushed donut from the gas station or even the grocery. My iced coffee was simple but it's not a coffe place. Family owned donut shop. Someone had given us some of their donuts, and we knew we needed to order them for a small get together we were having. When we went to pick up our order donuts were just being being finished. We were a little early, and appreciated that they wanted us to have the freshest product. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We ordered too many donuts. Thankfully these donuts for still fresh the next day. Quality donuts. Filled donuts are plentifully filled. Raspberry filled donuts tased like raspberry candy. Lemon filled donuts were my favorite. Lemon filling was on the tart side. It reminded me of a lemon tart or lemon meringue pie. Donuts themselves are fluffy. Glaze is light. A sweet product that isn't cloyingly sweet. read more

I bought a dozen donuts right after the New Year and they were all very stale and hard! I called back to register a complaint & ask if the donuts were fresh, the owner responded that the cake donuts are harder than the others. Also, the owners are not very welcoming when you enter their store, they rush you to make a choice as to which ones you intend to buy. They're not friendly at all. Will not buy anymore of their donuts. read more

Danny's donuts offers awesome, airy donuts for even more awesome prices! The delicious donuts at low prices more than make up for their lack in enthusiastic customer service. They also offer croissant breakfast sandwiches that a friend tried and was also very pleased with. It does seem a little variable, though. Ordered ham and cheese croissant with jalapeño. Literally came with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese straight out of a cold cut pack, with some canned jalapeños for $3.50 each. Croissants were cut open with stuff smashed in. Not very good. Half dozen donuts were basic, nothing special. Sadly disappointed in Danny's Donuts... Stopped in this morning before heading to a spring training game hoping to get some delicious donuts to fill up on for breakfast, but they were anything but delicious. First off, the selection of donuts was very sparse, and they were already out of so many by the time we got there at 9am. Also, the donuts were just blah and majorly lacking flavor. All I wanted was a maple bar before the game, and I got a few tasteless donut holes instead. No thank you to Danny's Donuts as I won't be back. I just went there for the first time and ordered a Thai tea (one of my favorite drinks). The lady at the cashier was really nice and kind. The best thing was the flavor of my tea, the best Thai tea I've ever tested here in The Valley. The texture was amazing since it was "blended". The donut holes were amazing as well! Nice neighborhood donut shop that specializes in early morning donuts and coffee. Variety leaves a bit to be desired, but what they sell is dependable and of high quality. I enjoyed the cinnamon roll greatly. The peanut butter creme donut was creative, and symbolic of some of the original donuts that you will indeed find here. I didn't visit during my last visit to Phoenix, but I will visit next time to see if they have anything new. Their coffee is standard, but since I drink it "big and black" I can't truly complain. read more

A new donut shop opened up by where I live. I went to go check it out. The owners were a nice and cute old Asian couple. I bought one glazed donut and took a bite. One bite was all it took for me to claim that it is the best glazed donut I've ever had. I've had donuts from local areas and from chains like Dunkin and Krispy, but they just don't have the sweet buttery aroma like these ones. I would highly recommend on you're going here to go at around 9-10 am. Oh and if you're into Boba they sell that here too. They have a variety of sweet creamy smoothies to go with it. 10/10. read more
