First time here with my friend and we absolutely loved this coffee shop! I've been to many places in Phoenix but this one is definitely one of my favorites. The food was fresh and tasted great. I recommend the Cookie Butter crepe, it was delicious and perfect for wanting something sweet. The customer service was my favorite part of this place, the girl working the register was very friendly and helpful when choosing what to get. She knew her menu and helped my friend with diabetes get what worked for her! She was giving compliments out so smoothly and I love seeing people with tattoos and piercings work such great service instead of the reputation they get of being "so serious". Definitely stayed a lil longer cause the chisme with the girls was goooooddd! we did not feel rushed to leave and the service was great when I was ordering the girl would ask me if I wanted it a certain way or wanted to add a side of chile sauce girl YESSS. i didn't have to ask she just offered and I truly love that it was my first time so I had no clue I could do that. I finally popped my crepe cherry! Well, it was my first visit. As a pastry chef - I've always made my own crepes and while these don't compare to anything home-made - they are quite tasty. At first glance their menu seems a little overwhelming to me personally. The gal explained about how to order and most things are a la cart. So I ordered crepes. I decided strawberry with cream. The crepes were brought to my table and were good. A little on the rubbery side - but the strawberries were fresh so that was my favorite part. The first place I've tried a crepe a few years ago and I still come back to for the same quality and service. Plenty of seating but does get busy on some mornings. Short version: great selection, wonderfully decorated, friendly staff, good service Longer version: only two semi-bad things I was not pleased about. 1) their large display menus do not have the descriptions/ingredients listed, so you have to go up to the counter to view their more descriptive menus - and if someone is standing behind you that knows already what they want, your indecision on what to order and taking up counter space looking at the menu could be an irritant; and 2) they share their lot with a lot of other strip mall occupants to the traffic and parking/exiting could be nightmarish. I'm surprised we didn't witness a few car collisions, it was that chaotic. Everything else about Colados was good though. As you can imagine, the interior was decorated with large French artwork, beautifully displayed. It was a very pristine place to eat, and larger than it looks from the outside. The staff we interacted was all friendly and bubbly. The drinks were delivered to our table quickly, the food within a few minutes of the drinks. My sister devoured her balsamic crepe, while I was only able to eat a third of my BLT crepe (they were large, definitely) but I also wanted to finish the cookie butter crepe as I did not think that one would be as good as a leftover meal the next day. :-) I almost enjoyed the cookie butter more than the BLT. I love crepes and have tried numerous crepe restaurants. I will say Colados crepes were not as light/airy as some of the other places I tried, but despite that, they have a wonderful selection to choose from, and if I am ever in the area again, I would stop by to try other items from their menu. read more

This place is amazing. We ordered the drinks which came first, the matcha latte with coconut was perfect. It was not overly sweet and they give non-dairy option! The black mango tea was also magical. My husband took his home to chew on the mango bits. Their menu is so small and simple. But we were surprised when it was served. The portions were huge and just looked better than how they described it on the menu. The chorizo was so colorfully plated and was just bursting with flavor. Alternatively, the tropical crepe is sweet and delicious in its own way! It also came with ice cream on the side which was so good. I I was really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately it was a huge letdown. As I got there on a Wednesday morning at 10 AM the place was busy. Before I placed the order, I was warned it was a 20 minute wait. I accepted the fact that it was going to be a wait, but I placed my order. I ordered a large coffee to go. It was not a 20 minute wait. We ended up waiting 50 minutes and then after we got our order we didn't get it in a go cup. We asked to please have a transferred to a to go cup, and when it was, it did not even fill the cup all the way. After waiting an additional half hour, and not getting the full large cup to say, I was disappointed to say the least not sure if I'll be going back sadly. read more
