We received a gift card from our wedding on Valentine's Day. During our lunch break my husband and I stopped in. After perusing the menu and looking at the vast array of pastries, I ordered the roast beef sandwich: onion bun, beef, cheddar, arugula, pickled onion, horseradish aioli, served toasted with BBQ chips and sweetened tea with peach flavor. The service, ambience, prices, menu choices and bakery selection is exceptional. There is something for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. I took it to go and ate it at work. The meat was tender and flavorful. The cheese added to it with the horseradish aioli gave it the right flavor. I will come back because this bakery cafe is remarkable. I went to the boiler near my house and looked to see that they had a sign that they were on vacation so I went ahead and searched the location on with Miguel since it said it was open and drove the distance and they are closed and on vacation and several other people were doing the same I wish they would be more organized to put it on their site that they are on vacation for all locations. Stopped in today for pastries - the place was packed! I love that they've expanded into the space next door. My chocolate chip banana muffin was good, though I could barely taste any banana. My husband really enjoyed his pistachio chocolate croissant - said it was excellent! We also grabbed a monster cookie bar and a rice crispy treat, but both were just okay. Okay- second visit and today was outstanding! (First time was good too, but today was stellar!) This place was busy but we hardly had to wait... I had "the Kenny" breakfast sandwich- amazing. I have been wanting to try this bakery like forever it consistently comes up as one of the best bakeries in Arizona and judging from the reviews, it looks like it would be pretty good. Well The Boyer Bakery did not disappoint, although I only sampled one thing which was the pop tart. I devoured a peanut butter and grape jelly one and it was like having a adult peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but in a way better way. I also had the latte of the month which was a lucky charms latte, which was pretty good. I have not been able to get out to this bakery. I live 45 minutes away, but due to a local appointment I was able to stop by. I'm glad I did. I would recommend it to anyone interested in memorable pastries. Can't vouch for the sandwiches but they look pretty good too. Maybe next time when I get back this way in a few years read more

I did notice that this was one of three different Boyer establishments and it seems like they have quite a reputation. I came very early and there was a line almost out the door. I ordered the brown sugar shaken espresso and was very happy with that flavors. I was feeling a bit hungry so decided with a savory option and tried the bacon and cheese quiche. I seriously need an intervention. I come here at least once when I'm in town and I make sure I don't come when they are closed lol cause that is a bummer. Again, I usually get the same thing. That everything bagel sandwich and iced caramellows. Plus I also get a few scones and bakery items. I don't walk out of there for less than $50 lol. That everything bagel sandwich is probably the best in town. I've mentioned it before I get it without the ham because it's not my favorite. But they put plenty of bacon cheese and egg on it. The bagel is a very good size and most often times I share this with a family member because it's that big. I had visited twice during my visit to Arizona. One time it was wrapped in the foil paper wrapping and the second time it was wrapped in the brown almost parchment paper like wrapping. I don't know if they ran out of the foil one or are they switched products but the foil one definitely keeps the bagel hotter longer. That is important to me when I am driving back to my house. Service is always very friendly and helpful especially patient because there are so many choices in there. It takes a few minutes to focus and place an order. A nice casual relaxed café vibe. They have some retail items as well. I came after 9 AM and a small line was already forming to the door. There were quite a few people also in a bike club milling about which is a little annoying as they were trying to piece together tables, and then the group of them kind of stood in the middle of the restaurant. It has become a routine to stop by here monthly for a treat. We would visit more, but we are cheating on our diets even on gluten free items, so we want to tske care of our immune systems and not over do it. After gymnastics and a little dollar store adventure Boyer's is the icing on the cake! The girls have gotten smart and both pick out a different treat so they can share each of them. None of their items are gluten free certified. We are celiac, but we have never had any ill effects ever. We stay away from all gluten free items that contain gluten free oats as we react to them just like they are gluten. Service is ALWAYS with a smile. The customer service here is second to none. My wife is a regular here and they asked her name and they immediately knew her drink and made it perfectly. The store is clean and has been expanded on 2 times. The place is run by a local family and you can tell they take a great deal of care in the business. This was our first visit to Boyer Bakery. We got an assortment of pastries to share and we enjoyed all of them. I also tried an iced carmallow latte and it was delicious. The Boyer Bakery is a sweet little shop tucked into a shopping center in Surprise. Follow the address here, not whatever Apple Maps tell you because you will end up on the wrong end of the shopping complex. The staff were friendly and so efficient. I arrived to a line of seven people (at the front a person with a lot of questions) and departed within ten minutes with my order. I enjoyed a caramellow decaf latte, they have great tasting decaf espresso! So many shops throughout the valley will not sell decaf, so this is a big plus. They have a beautiful selection of pastries and other treats. I chose an onion, mushroom, and Swiss quiche and a cherry tart. At this time I've only eaten the quiche (amazinggg) and am saving the tart for later. The shop itself is fairly limited seating inside, but has some cute Arizona trinkets for sale as well. I haven't been in this area for a while and was surprised to see a lot has changed especially with the addition of this bakery. The place was bustling so it looks like it's quite a popular spot. I ordered the pistachio biscotti latte and cookie butter cold foam cold brew alongside a brownie and vegan peach oat bar. Pistachio drinks are always my go to for new spots and this latte did not disappoint. I was also excited to see that they have a variety of vegan options. I love the almond croissants, but you have to get there early to snag one. I'm not that much of an early bird so too often they are out of them. The other pastries are good, but I'm in for the croissants. As a result I rarely stop in anymore. I wish they would make more knowing they are so popular.
