It's easy to get to if you are heading South on North Beltline Road, but getting out of it, you can only keep heading South, and even then you're on the side street of the overpass and it's a pain to turn back the other way. You have to be heading South and getting off that "exit" road onto East Main Street in order to get here. It's a little inconvenient. For that reason I've never been until today. We saw the big giant inflatable gorilla out front last month announcing that this was open. The business itself got it's license on April 1, but I think this place has only been open for a month or two (It is now Oct 1, 2020). Anyhow I love wine and figured I'd check it out. Parking can be a challenge when they are getting a delivery - the lot is small and deliveries are brought to the front. Your car might get boxed in if you are not careful. It's a nice large new store. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful. I came here looking for wine and I was disappointed. There's only 1 row of wine, and it's small. They have different varieties available, but only 5-6 different versions of each. So for a Pinot Noir, they had maybe 5 or 6 different brands. And they were all quite cheap. Which is to say not very good. I mean, if you want a $4 bottle of red, definitely go here. They have some Texas wines but in my opinion Texas wines are horrible. The store is definitely more geared towards liquor and beer. I didn't look at the beer section, but they have a good amount of large new coolers in the back of the store so I think they have a lot to choose from here. The first several rows of aisles and the entire side walls are all liquor. Excellent selection of whiskeys and bourbons from what I saw. So, although it has wine in the title, don't go here for wine. And careful where you park.
