Each one was better than the previous with the lobster Thermidor special being an absolute home run! It is the very best Thermidor I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh, cooked perfectly, with a cream sauce that is out of this world. The lobster was so tender. I even got to pick it from an ice chest when I walked in. Just an absolutely amazing dining experience on each occasion with excellence service and pretty much every appetizer on the menu is amazing. I really can't say enough about this gem in Aguadilla. For those who may be curious about their name, that's the island on the eastern horizon. Enjoy!!!

Amaury greeted us, was super attentive to our needs, and checked in on us occasionally. None of the other restaurants, especially in San Juan, did this. Foodwise, it was fantastic. We shared a variety of entrees. Known for their mofongo, we got the La Isla Desecheo ($37), which consisted of Cassava mofongo stuffed with churrasco in a mushrooms, parmesan and bacon sauce. That sauce was delicious, especially when you mixed it with the mofongo. We also got the Pechuga a la Carbonara ($19). This is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and mozzarella, breaded and fried with Carbonara sauce on top. I would compare this to a Chicken Cordon Bleu as it's very similar. Delicious nevertheless. If you're feeling like getting steak, then the Churrasco Z ($33) is for you. This is a Churrasco steak topped with a creamy parmesan cheese sauce, mushrooms, and bacon on top. We ordered this medium rare and they made it to perfection.

Hands down the best dinner experience of our entire Puerto Rico vacation! We celebrated our 19th…read moreanniversary here on 07/07/26 with our daughters, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was absolutely incredible, without a doubt the most flavorful meal we had all week, and honestly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Order the chicken... WOW! Every bite was packed with amazing flavor. The service was truly exceptional. One of our servers, Allen, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He took the time to talk with us & he didn't seem rushed. The teamwork among the staff was amazing to watch. There was a gentleman constantly walking through the dining room clearing plates the moment we were finished, keeping everything spotless without ever interrupting our meal. Everyone worked together so seamlessly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they do. While we waited for our food--which actually came out super fast for PR--our daughters loved spending time down by the beach area. It was the perfect way to keep them entertained while we relaxed. And the view... photos simply don't do it justice. We had no idea just how breathtaking the setting and ambiance would be until we experienced it in person. If you're in Rincón, La Copa Llena is a must-visit!!

Unlike your typical Puerto Rican restaurants on this island, this restaurant is pretty white washed, so expect to be treated like it's mainland USA and they expect you to treat them the same. Water is not free. They'll bring you fancy water and charge you $5 for it. For food we got the Fish Curry ($32), Orecchiette Pasta ($28), and Tapa Poke ($20). The one dish not worth getting is the Tapa Poke as the portion is essentially bite size and you're paying $20. The others were pretty good, no complaints.

Location: Located on State Road 107 in Aguadilla, Erick's BBQ is easily accessible from the BQN Airport and from Crash Boat Beach. It is located across the street of a nearby commercial plaza containing a Walgreen's and Churches Chicken. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Restaurant: Erick's BBQ resembles a large straw hut from the outside. You order your food at the counter from a menu on the wall. You then choose your table and the food is brought over once its plated. You can eat inside or outside on the front/side patio (my preference). Its not fancy or trendy just a place to hang out and enjoy the tropical weather and have some great food in your flip flops. Food: You can order various individual combos that are numbered on the menu wall. They also offer family combos that can feed easily a family of four. Dish choices include roasted chicken, BBQ ribs, Fish, Shrimp, Rice, beans, fried plantains, mofongo and much more. We had a family combo, which included Protein, rice, salad, fried plantains, and a 2-Liter Soda for about $25. We ordered on the side some Ribs and Yuca. Everything was delicious and very well seasoned. We liked it so much we returned later in the week. I definitely recommend this place if your leaving Crash Boat and want a full healthy meal while still wearing your sandy bathing suit and flip flops. Closes by 7:30PM so do not go to late.
