The chef here blew me away night after night with their skill and execution. On an eight day trip,…read morewe chose to eat here for three dinners. Each one was better than the previous with the lobster Thermidor special being an absolute home run! It is the very best Thermidor I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh, cooked perfectly, with a cream sauce that is out of this world. The lobster was so tender. I even got to pick it from an ice chest when I walked in. Just an absolutely amazing dining experience on each occasion with excellence service and pretty much every appetizer on the menu is amazing. I really can't say enough about this gem in Aguadilla. For those who may be curious about their name, that's the island on the eastern horizon. Enjoy!!!

Of all of the restaurants I've dined at during my trip in PR, this one had the best customer…read moreservice. Amaury greeted us, was super attentive to our needs, and checked in on us occasionally. None of the other restaurants, especially in San Juan, did this. Foodwise, it was fantastic. We shared a variety of entrees. Known for their mofongo, we got the La Isla Desecheo ($37), which consisted of Cassava mofongo stuffed with churrasco in a mushrooms, parmesan and bacon sauce. That sauce was delicious, especially when you mixed it with the mofongo. We also got the Pechuga a la Carbonara ($19). This is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and mozzarella, breaded and fried with Carbonara sauce on top. I would compare this to a Chicken Cordon Bleu as it's very similar. Delicious nevertheless. If you're feeling like getting steak, then the Churrasco Z ($33) is for you. This is a Churrasco steak topped with a creamy parmesan cheese sauce, mushrooms, and bacon on top. We ordered this medium rare and they made it to perfection.

I am rating this place based on food flavor, establishment, wait time, location, service, etc. So I…read morewent there with my family and each of us order different things to try and see how good the food was. I ordered a "conofongo" which is a mofongo shaped and served as a cone stuffed with chicken with "criolla sauce". This mofongo was pretty good and the flavor of the sauce was good. Other members of my family ordered "conofongo" of fried pork "carne frita", "conofongo" of steak (churasco) and the personalized sampler (surtido personal). The other two conofongos were Ok flavor wise nothing amazing, just bland. I have tried mofongo in other places and the flavor had been amazing but here the only one with good flavor was the one with salsa criolla. Dont get me wrong the concept of mofongo in a cone is cool and the portion you receive is good, very filling. The sampler was not that great either. The plantain chips were not crispy, they were soft which was disappointing. The chicken and fried cheese was good, but it only brought 3 pieces of cheese. Service was good, establishment has very limited parking and its hard to find a place. In regards to waiting time to receive food it was good, we only waited like 15 min to get our food. Seats are outside under a roof so there was some mosquitoes, make sure you wear mosquito repellent. Price wise was OK not extremely expensive, neither super cheap either. Would I go back to this place: No, as in my opinion there are other places that cook more flavorful food for the same price.

They seemed a little overwhelmed when we got there and told us the food would be 25-30 minutes wait. Not a big deal.... there was 8 of us who made 3 separate orders. 1/2 of my order came out after about 1/2 an hour then...... 30 minutes later nothing else. Not even the appetizers. A few minutes later the chef (maybe owner) came and apologized saying it was completely his fault. He was very sincere and also sent another appetizer over Other then that the food was very good. The appetizer platter had a little of everything. All of which where delicious. Especially the fried cheese bites and the mini burgers. The confongo, while just a fun little twist, was delicious. Even tho my churassco was over cooked and a little tough it was still good and the chicken and fried pork were also very good. Other then the unfortunate mixup with our orders the food was delicious and worth a wait. Amazing what you can find on the side of the road in a food cart!!!
