The oven was used twice - Friday night and Saturday morning, but Saturday night the oven would not come on. Tested power outlet and no problems there. Took it back and they said they would check it out. When I came to pick it up they said it needed a new glow plug that would cost me $65! He claimed they must have turned it on and used it to heat the house because the glow plug was burnt up! What a ridiculous accusation! I suggested he should at least back up his merchandise for ONE DAY! That made him mad, so he carted it to the parking lot, dumped it on the ground behind my truck and walked off. Wouldn't even help me load it in the truck! So much for customer service! In my 40 years of managing rental properties I've never been treated so rudely by a store owner! I made an appointment and was given a time window of 3 hrs and told someone would call me 30 min before arriving. They arrived 2 hrs past the appt time making excuses about a vehicle breaking down. Only to walk in turn on the dryer and say, "you need new rollers, we'll have to come back tomoro". So we set the time for between noon and 1, and they left. That time came and went. So At 1:30 I call the main # and was transferred to a voice mail where I left a message. About 5 min later the "technician" returned my call making more excuses and said he would arrive in a few min. I said I have somewhere to be at 3:30, and asked if he would arrive and complete the repair before that. I was told no, that's about when he would arrive. That's quite a few min... again I rescheduled for 9am the next morning. The repair guy arrived at 9:30 and began taking my dryer apart. He then determines that he was given the wrong part, it was backwards. He needed to go back into the city to get the right one, which took almost 2 hrs. In the end he hands me a bill for 155$. When I ask about my service charge of 55$ that was supposed to be credited he said that it covered my "diagnostic fee". 55$ for them to walk in and turn my dryer on... That's the cherry on top in the **** sundae.

Well, the deal changed by $149 and exceeded my limit. Kermit denied what he said on the phone. It wasn't really the money as much as the disrespect. I guess it makes a difference when the owner is not on site. In fairness he sent a text offering to accept a check for the original amount if I would come back.
