We downsized to an apartment. We bought a new refrigerator in December. . It had to be a smaller one with the freezer on the bottom. We found one at Best Buy. We were told that the door could be changed at time of delivery, if needed. It also did not come with an ice maker. We ordered it and paid for it. We were told it would be delivered and installed when the refrigerator was delivered in February. On the delivery date, only the refrigerator came. Ice maker on back order. The door had to be reversed because when you opened it there was no counter to put things. The delivery men said reversing the door was not on their work order, and they could not do it. They had 18 jobs that day and reversing the door would play havoc with their schedule. Best Buy was contacted again and we were told men would come on Friday to reverse it. There would be an additional charge of $69.99 to do it. The ice maker was still on back order and it would be June or July (maybe) before we see it. When we called once again to complain about the $69.99 we were told that this happens often that sales people promise one thing but Best Buy's policy says another. She would see if this could be reduced. Today we found out that the adjustment was all of $7.00. They were told to keep their money., and we have bought the last thing ever from Best Buy. The only positive thing about this was the delivery men were cordial. read more

I can't believe the neglect I'm experiencing! I bought a dishwasher at Best Buy in Norma, they scheduled the installation and delivery AND NEITHER SHOWED UP NOR GAVE ANY UPDATE! I went to the store to find out what happened, and they didn't even know. They scheduled again for a week later, and again, no shows or notifications. I went back to the store, and they told me a part was missing for the installation. They rescheduled for two weeks from now, and I'm already fed up with this lack of responsibility! I was told that the Norman Best Buy is the best place to get the remote car starter purchased at an OKC Best Buy installed. It was worth the drive. The installation didn't take as long as they said, which is always nice. They took the time to explain what the remote did and let me try it out on site to make sure I felt comfortable. I did shop the store while waiting and found that on that day and time all the staff knew what they were doing and were helpful and friendly. read more

They didn't offer in their sales list, Kept trying to upsell me to a model 3 times more at zero percent interest and spoke in a condescending manner, like I was stupid. If you're looking to buy a new home refrigerator, I wouldn't recommend shopping at Best Buy. The majority of refrigerators I looked at were used and must have been returns, smelled bad, unplugged so you couldn't view the interior lighting, jammed together so tightly that the doors wouldn't open to view storage setup or features. Review of Geek Squad: F Usually I go by the adage of, "If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything." I hope the following failures are corrected in the future in case the person needing help setting up a new iPad to sync with their existing iPhone and doesn't happen to have a friend to do all the truly necessary things the Geek Squad didn't. I was the friend that made the following corrections: It's ALWAYS important to set up the iPad so that it coordinates with one's iPhone; that's the beauty of the Apple system. What didn't happen was my friend's new iPad was NOT set up with "Find My" by putting the app on the iPad nor syncing it in the iCloud Settings. This is fundamental when you have two devices so that one can always tell you where the other is and can help you find it. Secondly "Messages" was not synced in Settings so that whatever texts one receives on the iPhone are also received on the iPad (Text Message Forwarding). Similarly the "Send as SMS" in Settings always needs to be on so that both iPhone and iPad receive ALL texts, i.e., Android and doctor & dentist texts. Along the same theme, under "iPhone" in Settings on the iPhone, "Calls on other devices" needs to be turned on so that one can make and receive phone calls on the iPad. I hope the person in charge trains the Geek Squad going forward in the basics in setting up a new iPad to fully take advantage of how beautifully it syncs and augments the iPhone with ALL functions working. They are not two separate devices but two devices within one iCloud system that work seamlessly together. read more

You can't call the manager, as they don't answer in Norman and the call goes through to a nationwide customer service number. I had a little mishap and ended up in the lake with my iphone in my pocket (big surprise right?). I had insurance on it and of course making the claim was problematic, but the folks at the Norman Best Buy really helped. I want to say that JR, one of the managers, still understands and promotes the idea of customer service like I have rarely seen in years. He really went above and beyond to assist me, and El, another employee at the customer service desk, was right there watching everything he was doing. Purchased a the Total Tech membership from The Norman Best Buy thing it was going to be a time saver. Well I was wrong about being a time saver I have spent hours on the phone trying to get Speakers installed, Thermostats installed, Ring System installed and my new wifi system hooked up to my ring system. No one can seem to schedule to have all these items taken care of. This house is near Norman close to my daughter and grand children. I fly 1300 miles to reach this house and schedule with Best Buy appointments for the days when I am here. Best buy will cancel the preset appointments or the techs say they can't install that product. On 9/4/21 Washer, Dryer and Refrigerator ordered and installed later in October on my next trip. 1/7 ring doorbell installed during my next trip as I was waiting on Ring Camera System delivery, 1/10/21 Cancelled return flight waiting on Camera install by BB subcontractor. 1/12 BB Contractor installed 6 camera Ring system that did not cover all areas due to WIFI issue (need Booster). BB Subcontractor tried to install Thermostats but could not do. 1/14 had to fly out with out being able to monitor critical area of house and temperature of house due to Best Buy error. On 4/3/21 flew back out to meet Best Buy to finish installations on preset appointments for 4/8 and 4/11. I was called by Joshua Johnson the Total Tech Service Rep about the WIFI Booster that the sales person recommended and suggested a better one, so I went with it. He installed it but said he could not hook my ring system to it as someone who is licensed would have to do it ? While Joshua was here another Best Buy bow truck shows up and delivers two more Ring cameras with 6 new solar panels that I was going to have them swap out. Great Day !! I thought.... I was then told they could not install the panels or touch any cameras or get them on line as they weren't licensed. What was the use ? I then got a text from Best Buy canceling my Monday appointment on 4/11....GREAT !! Best Buy NEEDS TO START COVERING MY FLIGHTS !! Drove to Norman Store to talk to General Manager and did and was passed off to Justin Martin the Geek Squad Manager who I explained what was happening again (total time on phone with BB customer service was almost 3 hours with NO results to date). So far no real results and waiting for concrete answers and It looks like I am going to have to cancel my return flight AGAIN costing me more time and money. Curbside pick up bait and switch! I purchased a NEW flatscreen TV today, paid online, and went to pick up curbside. When I got there they brought the item out and put it in the back of my truck. I should have been looking closer! When I got home and got it inside I noticed the box had already been opened. When I opened it up the 50 inch TV had clearly been opened and taken out of the box and put back in with damage done to the box and packing materials. I. paid full price. I did not buy an "Open Box Buy". I called and sat on hold for 15 minutes the fist time and then 20 minutes after that. No human ever came to the phone. If this is how they treat people with taking their money and then bringing out used equipment to pass off as new, this will not instill much confidence in curbside pick up, especially in time for the CV19 holiday season. Shame on you Norman Best Buy. I've bought a lot of stuff from you (appliances, TVs, electronics, etc), but will never do so again unless this is rectified. read more

This Best Buy is great! I got exactly what I wanted and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I sat down at their new tv display and omg that thing was $4,000 and well if I had 4k for a tv I would have bought it lol. The 3D was not working for some reason but the staff still did their best to get it going, after a good 30min in the store, wandering about and coming back to see if it was a go, we had to depart without that under our belts. Also the gaming headsets are display only so if you want to hear the sound quality - forget it! Not gonna happen. The bluetooth was out or not connected. I have no clue but those were the only two things we missed out on. The check out was super fast and we left with exactly what we needed. Thanks Best Buy! read more

I took my computer in to have it reset to default and new operating system installed. They sent it home with a password required, but didn't tell me the password. I live an hour and half away from this store so I called in and my call was answered by the 800 call center. I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I have been here many times and purchased a curved TV, a new Samsung Dish Washer with water wall, all kinds of stuff for the home. I have no problem with the actual items. The service from the store is where the issue is. I would rather drive to Witchata Falls, TX to Best Buy then go here, as when I order something to be delivered and they say they can deliver and do so, the one in Norman has issues and then does not contact the customer about them. Installation was free with our dishwasher and then oh no we can't find anyone in your area to install this, so we just wont call and tell you, just let you wait until you realize no one has shown up then let you call and talk down to you for our mistake. I talked to a Manager as he was called, when I called to complain about the issue, and it was the same person who told me the dishwasher would be installed for free. I think there is some delay from brain to mouth when it comes to apologies at this store, or maybe they have not been taught to admit fault and ask for forgiveness from someone you have done wrong. I do not like the service here, more of a convenient store to get to. read more

I placed an order for store pick up and it was taking awhile to be confirmed. 3 hours after placing the order I went to the pick up counter to see if the email confirmation got lost. Logan was so helpful and called Best buy.com to find out what the hold up was with my order. He and another associate called Best buy and the fraud department to find out what the hold was. Logan let me know it could be 10min -2hours for Best buy to approve my order and that he would call me when the item was ready for pick up. I went in to buy an Apple Watch. When asking the employee simple questions like are they Bluetooth compatible and water resistant, he had to Google the answers. When I told him the exact model I wanted he told me I was wrong because there wasn't a gray model. When showing him the gray model on Apple's website and asking him multiple times to please look for one, he refused. Another employee brought me a gray model and it wasn't the right size. I told them I would just stop at another Best Buy and get the right size, he told me all the Best Buys were sold out. What does ALL the Best Buys mean? I'm going to Tulsa. I know nothing about installing an after market car stereo other than seeing my brothers do it and looking up you tube videos. The geek squad car audio installers where super speedy and did a fantastic job. Reasonably priced at $60.00 the guys installed my new stereo in less than 20 minutes, when the scheduled allotted time was 1.5 hours. They do this all day long, they got it down. I brought in a radio and kit supplies I bought on Amazon and made an appointment online, I even called to reschedule and gained valuable info from the techs about needing and install kit... (quickly ordered from amazon). Money well spent and their installation is guaranteed for life. read more

We went to buy a laptop for my daughter who is an incoming freshman to the local university. Our salesman was courteous, very knowledgeable about all the brands and specs, gave us a variety of choices and let us pick the best one for us. By the way, I recommend the new SSD technology (It runs and loads so much FASTER than the old hard drive!!!!)
