Said she needed new tires, her tires are "like new", rear brakes, one needs changed, and an alignment, her steering wheel is perfectly straight with zero wobble. Worst customer service in the world. Went in to get my tires balanced... when I left the sensor monitor for the tires was off not a big deal at all. Thought I would go back in and they could reset it. When I called the next day to see what they could do I spoke with Chris (he said he was the manager/ owner) he started off being very defensive saying they couldn't have possibly messed up the sensor. When I tried asking a few questions he kept interrupting and cutting me off. I tried explaining I only wanted to understand he cut me off again... I honestly don't know much about cars so he may very well be right but he was just blatantly mean by the end of the phone conversation. Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Apparently it's ok for the owner to label you as "unreasonable" if you expect your car to be fixed correctly. I had to go back three times and still didn't get the issue fixed. The manager Chris was disrespectful and the work subpar. Take your car elsewhere. read more

i bought 4 tire in 2019 i was told they were 50000 mile tires when i told them in one year and 11000 miles later they were worn out. they said i had not done routine tire rotation . and i had to have that done at their store. i had my car services regularly done all items rotations alignment what i thought was a good deal was crap i suggest you do not patronize this business never again never again read more

I would give this place a zero if I could. My husband had scheduled an oil change for me and said the guy said it wasn't really essential. I asked if he was serious and he said I dont know, so I said I would call. When I called I said my husband made my appointment and thought he had upset him. He then said (rudely) we are risking our lives for people to come in here and an oil change is not an essential, a brake job is an essential. They come in here with there families and put our lives at risk. I then found an opportunity to get a word in and asked if I could explain something. I let him know that my husband was not working due to Covid19 but I am a Respiratory Therapist and I deliver Medical Equipment to patients homes and need my car for work so I have to keep my car up and oil changed. He then yelled like I said an oil change is not essential. I was shocked, I said what if it was your mother that needed the equipment. He said ,rudely, she doesn't shes at home where she should be and your husband should be. I couldn't get a word in. I was shocked at his attitude . He said I wouldn't be essential if everyone would stay home. I was always told to keep my oil changed when it was due. I put a ton of miles on my car, if that's changed I didnt hear about it. He also said noone else was open. Well there are other places open and yes they are taking precautions which I COMPLETELY understand!!!!! And in times like this we are all essential!!!! We have been going to Dan's for years. Never had an issue. I was told I needed one rotor and all new pads. After paying and looking at the receipt, they had replaced all 4 rotors. I called to ask why they replaced all 4 when I was told only One needed to be replaced. The answer was "we always replace the rotors when we replace the pads". Seriously!!!! Interesting since I have had many brake jobs over the years including from them and never has this happened before. I am not debating the price, just the lack of honesty/ information! Will not ever take an automobile there again. read more

I've been a long time customer of Dan's (more than 25 years). I never had any issues with them; until this year. They incorrectly installed an oil filter on my car that led to my engine getting destroyed. When I confronted them about it, they denied the work. When I showed them the oil filter and the pictures taken of the removed engine, they eventually acknowledged the mistake, but only agreed to pay for half of my cost. When I asked for a larger payment, they abruptly pulled back their offer to pay for anything and dared me to take this issue to court. Throughout this ordeal they have been poor communicators, not returning my phone calls or my emails. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. read more

I've been going to Dan's for a few years now, and every time I call to get a quote, seems like there's attitude behind the response.. and they are very rude in person. And they don't seem to do a good job when doing a wheel alignment, and putting on new tires. Every time I purchased new tires, the very next day they would be completely flat. They tried to say that the rims needed sealed but that's bs.. we've never had any issues with our tires or rims until Dan's started replacing them. And they still charged us to seal the tires and rims when in fact they should've done it when putting on the new tires. Now my tires are practically bald, and not in good shape because I need another wheel alignment already, and I just had one from Dan's not even a year ago. And if something else needs corrected before doing the actual service you took your vehicle there for, the don't even call you to give you a heads up.. they perform the service, and then you're stuck paying something you didn't agree to. I have been a customer for years. I have purchased many sets of tires for different cars. Since their is a new manager the service has been terrible. The new manager is very rude. I Purchased Hercules tires eleven months ago for a jeep patriot (altitude). From the beginning we had problems with tire pressure and balance issues. The jeep was taken in multiple times and charged for service. The tires were rotated every 5,000 the most recent was in March. Took the jeep in yesterday because their is barely any tread on the front tires and minimal on the back, 13,000 miles on these tires. I was told that the tires they put on are really not the right tires for my jeep even though they are the size the manufacture requires. In fact the manager said going forward he wont be selling tires to anyone who owns a jeep. When I called back in to see if he would stand behind the warranty he said no and hung up on me. I contacted Hercules warranty, they are replacing all four tires and I am taking them to another dealer to put them on. Daniel the warranty specialist for Hercules was wonderful to deal with. He was very upset that Dan's would not stand behind the Warranty on the tires. He feels that the tread wore because they didn't address the tires loosing pressure. Dan's should of taken the tires off the rims, buffed and sealed them. I Would not recommend Dan's to do any work on a car going forward. Apparently they need to be educated with tires that goes on a jeep and the warranty on the tires they sell !!! read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I reluctantly brought my vehicle to them after they put the brakes in wrong on my friends car. Long story short they put wrong parts on my vehicle said they didn't touch the stuff that they screwed up and also threatened me while everyone that worked there started coming towards me. Today I was treated like crap when I went to Dans American Tire I brought my car in because the tire maintenance light was on I told the bald guy that when I first walked in I asked the guy to let me know what was wrong with the car before they fixed it the question I always asked he looked at me began breathing heavy then said u will get ur oil changed u will get ur car in a few minutes I said no I brought my car in because the tire maintenance light is on I had an oil changed two weeks ago from here he said they haven't gotten to ur car yet I said just let me know what's wrong before it fixed he then said I'm doing three things and I don't have time for this he went to the window looked into the service area walked out quickly got my car brought it around came inside and said yes ur light is on u have to take it to the Nissan dealership good bye and was waving when I said I have been coming here since Dans was at country fair plaza he said goodbye and get out when I said I wasn't coming back he said good don't I have referred friends family and co-workers to Dans American tire but I will be letting them know how they treat their customers especially their long time customers this smart guy couldn't figure out on his own people want to know what is wrong with their car and the price to make sure they can cover the cost the other guy could get it I came from Alliance Ohio to get my car service at Dans and this is how I am treated read more
