Long review but very worth the read. Used there website to book an appointment for tires and a alignment. Email stated someone would be in contact with me in one business day to 25 hours. 2 days later no reply. I called the 3rd day and asked about my appointment I put in for an they had no answer as to why no one contacted me. No big deal I get it. My problem is with the next part of this story. I set an appointment over the phone, show up for appointment. They had the tires I requested in stock at a fair price. I asked for an alignment since I always get an alignment with any new set of tires. I get informed my truck is done and ready. Awesome, the guy rights up the work order an I pay the bill. The full bill for tires and the alignment. After which I get informed that they couldn't do the alignment an that I need ball joints and rear control arms. This would of been very important info to have before paying. Now they have to refund me my money for the alignment they could not be performed. I'm asked next if I would like a price quote for the repairs. At this point absolutely not. You can't inform me before finishing my vehicle that I need repairs an that you can't do the alignment? But you'll gladly charge me for it before reviewing your paper work. Needless to say I left livid. Once cooled off I walked around the truck at home to inspect the tires. Found all four my wheel covers destroyed, scratches, and cracks! You can see where they over tighten the outer wheel balancing nut into my rims and completely ruined all 4 of my rims. Unbelievable!!! I absolutely can not believe this place gets away with this kind of work. I've heard very high things about them. All of which is a lie. Long review. Recently took car in due to tire leak. Said they couldn't repair it because it was leaking from a previous repair in the tread near sidewall and that is where it was currently leaking. No big deal. Gave quote on new tire and I said I wanted to shop just in case I could find a better price. Asked them to please put spare on and place the rim in the trunk. Fast forward 5 days later. After finding new tire elsewhere I arrive at that establishment to replace my tire only for them to find no rim in the trunk. Now I need to reschedule with the second place and I have drive back to Van's to find my rim. Back at Van's they find my rim. And hand it to me. Add in the fact I have a broken arm. No one apologizes or offers to help me load it into my car. That being said. I have been there several times and the service cost is always reasonably priced. However I have always suspected that the customer service was below par, and this last encounter affirmed my assumptions. I will most likely return but only out of convenience. read more

Poor service and overpriced. Had battery replaced . and new terminals installed. Terminal wires were loose causing problems with power door locks and window. Vans used to be a good home town repair shop . Now they are the same as any other chain store. Do not recommend. read more

Went in because a weird smell was coming through vents when I ran the heat. Brought the car in, and immediately they were pushing for me to sign a $90ish dollar diagnostic fee. Hesitant, I asked for one moment before signing so I could make a phone call. I called another place down the street that said they wouldn't charge a diagnostic fee. I politely told the man at the front desk that I would be taking my car elsewhere because I couldn't afford to pay an extra $90 JUST to diagnose it. The man replies, "well, if you can't afford this then how can you afford to fix it?" Unbelievable. Took it down the street. Got it fixed for $26 for literally just a new air filter. Another time, they told me I needed a new axel that would be $2000+ and that my car was unsafe to drive. Did some investigating, found out that my car had a floating axel, and was completely fine. Also had nothing to do with what I originally brought it in for. The owner apologized and said "sorry for the misinformation, your car is completely safe to drive," and sent me on my way. Long story short, I wouldn't give a dime to this place. They don't know how to run an honest business. read more

Got tires from tire rack and had them put on here. When I went in the guy at the front didn't seem happy I purchased tires from tire rack. He told me that he hasn't had good experiences with the tires I bought, however all reviews online were great. Once they got them back there they found that I was out of alignment. They also said that I needed new rotors and pads (front and back) as well as front calipers. I told them to do the alignment and that I have someone do my brakes. When I checked out the same guy at the front told me to check with him next time I buy tires before I go to tire rack because he might be able to get me a better price. But his better price rebates are through giftcards or me signing up for a credit card. When I told him I didn't want gift cards or another credit card, he didn't like my answer and got defensive. So, I bought all rotors, pads and calipers. Took them to my guy who works on cars and I helped him with my brakes. We took off the rear tire to find that the rotors and pads were completely fine! There was probably 75% left on the pads and the rotors were wearing evenly. So we moved to the front and took the tire off to find that the pads had about 90% left on them and that the rotors were completely fine, almost brand new! We did change the calipers because one of them was sticking, but I already knew that. As the owner stated on a previous review it is industry standard to replace pads and rotors, apparently even if they are almost brand new. I will not go back to Vans for future work, and if you do I would be very skeptical on what they tell you needs done! Ask to look at your stuff before they do anything as they might be trying to upsell you, especially if you didn't buy the tires there. If you don't want to put tire rack purchases on cars, then don't be a preferred installer! read more

Took my car in because A/C wasn't working. Their "courtesy" inspection revealed I needed rear rotors & pads. Went ahead and authorized the repairs. When we picked up the vehicle, my $90 A/C recharge turned into an $850 break job! The receipt indicated rotors, pads AND wheel bearings were replaced. I was pleased because I knew the wheel bearings needed replaced so we just killed three birds with one stone...until I drove away and the whirring sound was still there. When we challenged Vans about the wheel bearings being part of what we paid for, they replied it's just the way it appears in the computer, it's an "accounting thing!" When I get an oil change my receipt doesn't include items I didn't get. When I eat out my receipt doesn't include food I didn't order. I really don't understand why a receipt for products and services would include something that wasn't delivered. This is deceptive and makes you look like you're "accounting" for parts not delivered! We will never be back!! read more

Excellent service every time! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Had bought new tires in December through Goodyear online and set up an appointment with vans to put them on for me. Goodyear actually sent the wrong tires 3 times but van's was so helpful and worked things out with Goodyear and always kept me up to date on the issues and had fixed everything. Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation today and they were right on time with their speedy service. I highly recommend taking your vehicles to Van's for any service repair! I had some work done there. They damaged my car. They told me they would REPLACE the part they damaged. So now that I got it back and have had it a little while. The GLUE they used to fix it not REPLACE it with has washed away!!! They must have thought I was a dumb woman!! NOT!!! read more
