I needed 2 replacement tires for the front. They showed me what was available and set me up with a quick install! A few weeks late I needed an oil change and a new battery. With winter coming I couldn't risk needing a jump in the middle of winter. They were kind and attentive to the things I needed and didn't try to upsell me on any other things I didn't need! I strongly recommend this place! They obviously have been doing things right since the hace been around since 1919! Ohhh and I also recommend getting the oil change deal when they have it! Totally worth it!

"Caveat Emptor" Went to Fix-It with Fred for a needed oil change and the air conditioner was…read moreblowing warm air. Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.

Purchased a Kia from Tony at Main Street Motors for my father. After about 8 months a problem…read moredeveloped that was catastrophic to the engine. Main Street Motors had no liability in this situation. I took the car to Kia in Alliance and they wanted to replace the motor for $12,600 and charged us over $900 dollars just to say it was bad. I brought this problem to Tony the owner of Main Street Motors and he asked me to let him pick the car up and see what the real issue was. Keep in mind that this is not his problem, it was a very weird situation with this car and Tony stepped up and towed the car to his shop and dug in. He had no reason to help my dad, who is 88 years old, but he did. Tony's shop found that the dealer was lazy and now the car is fixed, for much less than they were asking. The car business has such a bad reputation, Main Street Motors is not part of the problem. If you are looking at an automobile I can't recommend this dealership enough. Quality of cars combined with high character ownership makes this a no brainer to buy a car from them. I have to buy my 16 year old son a car, and I will be buying from Tony at Main Street Motors. You can also add Rain-x protection at the end of the wash for a couple bucks more. I usually go for the Gold wash which includes a chassis spray to wash the garbage off the bottom of your car. Although it doesn't completely dry your car, there is a 30 second high volume air blower to get most of the water off as you pull out.
