I went in today to get a couple of shades that could handle the heat generated by the bulbs I use, and that wouldn't collect dust (a big problem on our potholed street). Again, Amanda selected a couple of non-cloth shades that will work beautifully and can be wiped off with a damp cloth. They actually make custom hats here! Maybe I don't get out much but I don't think I've ever seen a hat shop like this in real life. They sell more than just hats though, they have vintage clothes, and gifts and fashion goodies from local makers. The staff were very nice and I had to stop myself from buying one of everything from this shop. I'm not in the market for a hat at the moment but THIS is the store I'll be visiting when I am! They had opened their brick and mortar in Feburary (bad timing in relation to COVID unfortunately), but I'll support as much as I can to make sure they're open once COVID is over. If you're in the area be sure to check them out. The shop is on the corner of Mill Street and West Main Street. If you're lucky you'll snag a spot right on front but most likely you'll have to park a block away or so. This area is tough in terms of parking, depending on the day. So know that you may need to do a loop before you find a spot. COVID Update: There is a sign on the front of the door asking all customers to wear a mask as per the state mandate. The two staff members in were also wearing masks. There was hand sanitizer available and I felt very safe while there.

That's the whole reason I wanted to write this review. They worked with me to get the exact hat I wanted with the perfect band. They custom made me a band, sent photos along the way and were just a pleasure to work with in general. These are some cool people to work with. I can't wait to collaborate with them on something else. My hat is so custom and fabulous I've already gotten a ton of compliments on it. I love being able to say that it's custom and well worth every penny.

Ed and Roel were super friendly and it was a quick (less than 1 hour) turnaround. It's a bit of a drive for me so I really appreciate them getting it done in one trip. Highly recommended.
