Rhea was very rude and hung up on us twice. Rhea kept giving us conflicting information. She did not come across as knowing what she was talking about. We asked for the manager. We talked to Ashlie. Apparently Ashlie is the manager. She was very rude also. We asked to talk to the owner. Ashlie said Vince would not be back for about two weeks. She said that Rhea hung up because my significant other was yelling at her. He was frustrated yes, but he was not yelling and he has to try to project his voice due to vocal cord cancer and three strokes. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I would never give them business. They know nothing about proper customer service skills. read more

Purchased my adjustable bed platform in 2023 from Hudsons. Now that I need warranty service I am told to call Malouf 800 # as they no longer provide service. That's what you get when you support a small business in Paradise. It took 10 minutes on hold with Hudson's, being passed between 3 people and listening to horrible music, before I received an answer. Delivered a damaged "brand new" unit...and then, in addition, messed up the paperwork with the insurance company (on purpose, we're not even sure why?!)...whereas we are normally FULLY covered! Your employee called a wrong number (my number) this morning trying to reach a customer to give them a heads up about a service call that they (the customer) requested. Knowing they had the wrong number and that if I were that customer I'd be upset if I didn't get my call-head, I called back to let y'all know you had the wrong number. After being told I'd be transferred to that employee, and waiting on hold, I was told by the girl who answered that Employee Who Called has mixed up the last two digits, but no worries, she realized her error and will give the right people a call. Fast forward two hours I get ANOTHER voicemail from same Employee Who Called, about the same service call but now only 15 minutes before that poor customers appointment at noon! They STILL are calling ME and NOT their customer!! I feel so bad for whomever that customer is, and extremely annoyed I've let them know multiple times they have the wrong number and keep calling me despite informing them of this. The guy I got on the phone the third time called was rude and extremely short with me. Sorry not sorry you don't like hearing the F word directed generally NOT at you but about my "effing" phone number upset your fragile sensibilities so much, congratulations! You have now earned Hudson appliance an online review! So, annoying. I feel bad for your customer, get THEIR number right and STOP calling me! read more

Salesman Dominic got us a great deal on our new microwave, very easy to work with him! The installers, Matt and Larsson, were great. They gave us a 5 min warning when they were on the way. I bought a Samsung refrigerator from a big box store, about 3 years ago. The compressor went out over a month ago, which has a 10 year warranty, and the Samsung customer service center has been jerking me around this entire time. Finally, after they said they would reimburse me, I still had no refrigerator and with two very small children, living out of a styrofoam ice chest has been quite difficult. Luckily, I contacted Gabe at Hudson's Appliance, and he helped make my dreams come true. I showed him my old refrigerator, and he found me something comparable in price, higher quality, and assured me that if I ever have a problem in the future, his team at Hudson will be there to help me get it repaired. I contacted him just a couple of days ago, and today our new whirlpool refrigerator was delivered and installed. They also took our broken refrigerator away! I used these guys twice now for repairs on our washer and dryer which came with the house when we bought it and are older than me and my husband- from now on we refer to the appliances as Fred & Ethyl. Fred & Ethyl are Maytags in their 30s, and occasionally have minor issues. Twice now we've had Hudson's come out, and they have repaired them the same day because they happened to have the needed parts in their truck! Today's repair guy was wonderfully personable with a good sense of humor. Ethyl (the washer) wouldn't do hot water at more than a trickle (clogged filter- he cleaned out for both hot & cold water and showed me how bad they both were) and Fred (the dryer) wouldn't produce heat (ignition). Including the diagnostic, we were done in 45 minutes to fix both. Price for diagnostic, parts & labor- $153. -1 star because another place quoted me a cheaper diagnostic (but who knows, their fix might have been more expensive). We went with Hudson because we had used them before and that time we also got a reasonably priced same day fix- different technician, who I did not meet but my husband stated was also very personable. read more

I want to give such a high recommendation to this local Paradise company as since moving back we have decided to buy Paradise... Support local business. We first bought a side by side whirlpool stainless refrigerator that fit perfect in the small space we only had. The fridge which had no roller stops on it and would roll every time you opened the door and Gabe and Josh came up with idea to fix...genius!!! Then we got a KitchenAid slide in range and OMG , it's beautiful!!! True convection, steam bake. I'm truly blessed. Blessed to have Alton ( goes by Al ) and Nick who installed this oven. I brought my traeger BBQ in for repairs and they did nothing for 5 weeks. Eachtime I inquired about tne BBq Gabe fed me another lie and blamed traeger. He also blamed the slow shipping we are experiencing. The repair item could have been shipped UPS, or the USPS. IT did not need to be trucked. Very very pleased with our Maytag bottom freezer refrigerator purchase from Hudson's Appliance. We had size constraints as to where the fridge had to fit and I had a few additional specifics that I wanted in my new refrigerator--Gabe was super helpful in helping us to find one that would work. We just bought our first home in paradise and found ourselves in need of some appliances. Our realtor recommended checking out Hudson's, and I'm so happy we did! We popped in just to poke around, but we ended up staying and talking with Hayden about all of our options with different models. He was extremely knowledgeable about each unit, and helped us find each unit at a great price point. We didn't order on the spot, so he sent us home with a quote and printed specs on each appliance. We came back a couple days later and placed our order. We set up a delivery date when we made our purchase. When our appliances came in early we promptly received a call from Hayden offering to reschedule us for sooner if we wanted. When the delivery day came and the installers arrived it turned out that I had mistakenly purchased an electric dryer instead of gas(110% my fault..oops)..When the installers noticed this mistake, I was able to speak with Hayden and have them bring back a gas dryer same day still within our appointment time. They installed everything without any issues and I was still able to make it to work on time. I cannot speak highly enough for the customer service we received from this place from both Hayden as well as the installers. Not only did we get appliances at GREAT prices but we also were treated extremely well; the staff goes above and beyond. DO NOT USE this dishonest company HUDSON. We had an issue with our washer not draining. HUDSON came out to take a look. They claimed it need a new drain pump. I was not there when they did their assessment and asked if they checked the drain filter. The repair guy lied and said there was not much in it. Thought it was strange as the washer was only (3)yrs. old. Found a video on YouTube, took the back off and found bathing suit pads in the drain filter. Problem solved. A brand new whirlpool refrigerator was purchased from Paradise Hudson's. I plugged it in on Memorial Day-1 month ago! The service Rep came out and said he'd have the part the next day. I've since been told it was on a truck delayed due to the riots, it's on back order and several other excuses. Calls are not returned and there is very little follow up. I was told there was nothing they could do to speed up the part delivery. I finally gave up after a month of no refrigerator and went to directly to whirlpool. I was told the part is readily available and there's no reason it can't be sent with a repair tech. I fully support local businesses, especially right now, but this is terrible customer service. A big box store can do better. It's very difficult to be without a fridge for that long. I don't recommend buying from Hudson's. read more

We discovered Hudsons Appliances at the Silver dollar fairgrounds last year. The first thing that caught my eye was a large American flag draped at their booth...followed by two equally large smile's greeting us...a wonderful journey began when we decided to replace every appliance in our kitchen through them. Vince and Kristina are not only a beautiful couple, but are honest, professional, courteous, and helpful. My husband and myself have been in Chico for over 36 years. We have purchased many appliances through the years but have been less than satisfied with big box stores and the lack of follow through on service when needed from other unmentioned stores. We live in Chico, and though their store is currently in Paradise, (they serve Chico as well), it is not far to drive for the level of service you receive, and I would give it 100 stars Rating if able! We replaced five major appliances at a better price than we could find anywhere else... they research the same way we did, and encouraged us to tell them if we saw any of the appliances cheaper anywhere else. Yes!! They price match! In addition to Vince and Kristina , Jim & all staff are sweethearts! We also needed some remodeling to update our kitchen and they were able to recommend an amazing contractor. If I'm able to yelp him...I'll be doing that next! Our kitchen is now complete, I feel like a master chef with these high-quality American-made appliances, and feel that if there ever is a problem they will be right there to help quickly...Don't get me wrong, I don't think there ever will be a problem, but if there is...it will be a pleasure to see them again!
